Pros:

It works

Cons:

It doesn't work

This is one of those crazy benzoyl peroxide treatments. If you dont put it on a CLEAN face it makes it worse. It reacts badly with chlorine, This worked great for a week. Then i went swimming and put it on after, it burned my face. I know it works. Just not 4 me. I would definitely try it but dont get your hopes up to high.

Pros:

- Effective at preventing new breakouts
- Does not clump up with moisturizers like many benzoyl peroxide creams do
- Less irritating than most other over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide creams (because of its 2.5% concentration)

Cons:

- Not practical for long-term use due to price and size

The actual product is terrific. Maybe one day 2.5% BP will be widely available in drug stores, in larger sizes, at reasonable prices. The reason this is so expensive is because Neutrogena knows that your options are limited, and they are getting what they can out of you for selling you this rediculous .75oz. tube for $6 - $8. Please, do yourself a favor, and go with Dan's BP. Only use this if you live in a country in which Dan's BP is not practical for shipping reasons.

Pros:

Does what it is supposed to.

Cons:

Very expensive.
Cream Based.
Small Container

This stuff does the same thing that Dan's BP does but there are some pretty drastic differences. The first being the cost. It is $6 for a .75 ounce tube. Insane considering how much you are supposed to use. The second downside is that it is a cream and not a gel. This makes it sit on top of the skin and made it impractical for anytime other than at night. I used it while I was waiting for Dan's BP to come in the mail and it got my face good and adjusted for Dan's. After trying Dan's BP for just one day I will never go back. There really is no comparison.

Okay
This product was okay. It didn't leave my skin irritated (like other acne products) because of the low Benzoyl Peroxide. It's great for MILD to little acne. However, I had deep, inflamed acne everywhere. This medication was not for that. Only use this medication for mild to little acne.

Pros:

dries quickly
stays on all night

Cons:

burns a little
leaves redmarks ( Which peel in a couple of days)

i have terrible acne that comes and goes sometimes its worse then others and sometimes i only have it on one side of my face, This product is not an magic eraser it takes a couple of uses depending on how inflammed your pimple is. I have very super sensitive skin and when i apply to much it can irritate and leave red skin spots. I've learned that you literally only need a dab to make a difference DONT use more then a dab, the bottle is small for a reason you dont need to be excessive when applying. Dont let your skin get addicted to the BP although its a great minute relief, your body will get use to it and you will break out more because it will depend on it! Trust me i've done Proactiv and Accutane and i still suffer with acne, it runs in the family and it can be quite depressing, today will be that day for me which is why i decided to write this review. Oh and my skin loves mosturizer! i would die without mine but i have found that applying that first before spot treating helps with the irrating and the BP i not spreading around! I hope this helps! Keep ur chin up, acne is not the end of the world....I know im being hyprocitical but beauty relies with in! :) Happy person makes happy skin!

Pros:

-2.5 benzoyl peroxide (not too irritating)
-Easily found in drug stores

Cons:

-Only works as a spot treatment-would not recommend for the whole face.

I like this product simply as a spot treatment. It helps get rid of enlarged pimples that simply won't get away. If i feel a white head coming in i will dab a pea sized amount on it before bed and in the morning it will help reduce the size and redness. This is not a miracle product but definitely helps those that get occasional breakouts.

Pros:

Helps clear skin.

Cons:

I found it hard to blend in completely. There would always be white residue leftover.

I don't know why anyone who's using BP would choose this product over gel-based products, that go on smoother, and are just as effective. I have to say that Dan's BP is still the best I've used.

Pros:

Drys out some acne, non-irritating.

Cons:

Doesn't completely rid your acne, it has yet to fully rid even one of my pimples, it makes them smaller, but it doesn't make them go away.

Expensive for such a little tube, try something else.
