Pros:

Great for sensitive skin, doesn't dry out skin, reduces acne redness, a small amount goes a long way, and it doesn't irritate skin like other benzoyl peroxide products.

Cons:

It comes in a small tube and costs about $5, but it does last a long time (depending on how bad your acne is).

I've tried dozens of acne fighting products. I've tried facial rubs, lotions, moisturizers, deep cleaners, and exfoliators. All of them have turned my skin red from irritation, have dried my skin out, and resulted in worse breakouts. I was about to give up on cosmetics and focus on changing my lifestyle and diet, but I thought I'd try one more product...On-the-Spot Acne Treatment by Neutrogena. A very small dab of this cream on the acne affected area will reduce the acne's redness considerably and make it disappear in a couple of days. This product has helped reduce my acne breakouts by eliminating the ones I have and keeping me from popping pimples, spreading the bacteria to other parts of my face. If you have dry, sensitive skin and other products seem to make your acne worse try this product out. It is sold in small portions, but (depending on your condition) it lasts for at least a month. Five dollars a month for clearer skin sounds like a great deal to me. Can't hurt to try it.

Pros:

Works well for spot treatment. Clears up acne I can feel under the skin before it comes to the surface.

Cons:

Pricey-but lasts a long time if only used for spot treatment. Very drying for all over use.

Definitely recommend it for spot treatment, not all over the face.

Pros:

Cheap, accessable

Cons:

Didn't work at all for me, dried out skin

This product has never really worked for me and all it does is irritate the hell out of my skin and cause dryness, peeling, and burning. At times it caused my face to turn bright red where I had applied it. It didn't do anything for the cystic acne I had on my chin, the whiteheads, or blackheads. I don't really recommend this product. It also smells kind of strange and takes a while to be absorbed into your skin. It also is kind of chalky, so putting makeup over it is hard to accomplish.

Pros:

it used to work

according to my brother though, i used a little too much and a few nights later my skin (where i had applied it) was really dry and flaky. the next morning i woke up with a really dry t-zone and the pimples were still the same except my skin looked extremely dry which was very strange because it's always oily so i raised my eyebrows and holy crap i had awful wrinkly looking dry skin. i was shocked-i'm only 15!!!!!!!it's not fair, i thought. hopefully it'll clear up because it's driving me crazy!!!!!!ughhh

Bumps
Is it okay with bumps on face? I have many bumps on my right cheeks, this product says that it has benzyl peroxide and I believe that it is good for bumps.

Just Okay
At first I thought this spot treatment was working but after sometime it really wasn't doing anything but drying the skin around the pimples rather then the actual pimples. It didn't cause any redness which was nice but I recently started using tea tree oil as a spot treatment and it actually drys the crap out of pimples but does cause redness for myself around the pimple. BTW I used this bp for around 7 months. So I gave it enough of a chance , I would recommend spot treating with tea tree oil over this product.

Kinda works
It works like any spot treatment should. Because for me, a spot is my entire face, I apply this to my entire face. Sometimes if I don't rub it in well enough, there will be a residue. My face doesn't dry out too much with it, but it is used to BP heavy products.
