Neutrogena : Oil-Free Moisture, Combination Skin

After spending a lot of money on several different products and finally doing research on which ingredients to avoid for acne prone skin, it finally came down to getting this one. Neutrogena Oil Free Combination Skin. I tried the Sensitive skin formula which really clogged my pores and the SPF 15 one also caused breakouts. There are several lists online of ingredients to avoid and I was completely in shock to see that although Neutrogena claims to be oil free and to not clog pores, their products contain some of the worst pore clogging ingredients on the list. However, Neutrogena Moisture Oil Free Combination Skin has only a couple 'bad' ingredients which are considered 'low level cloggers'. After researching each product I had bought and some I had read good reviews on, this one won hands down on the ingredient list. I've been using it for about 2 months now and have had no problems at all and have had no new break outs. Although it makes my skin feel a little dry sometimes, it doesn't actually cause dryness. Great product!

I chose Neutrogena , thinking that it would end up my search for a good moisturizer, but what i am experiencing is T-zone still shining, there is oil on the other parts of face as well. Face go all oily after few minutes of application. I chose this as my T- zone is oil prone.. Product not effective for me. can i exchange this oil-free moisture combination skin with other Neutrogena product? I will not be using this product of Neutrogena anymore .. Please help..

I use this at night after proactive and in the morning after I splash my face with water/ gentle cleanser. I've been doing this for 3 + years. Proactive keeps me 90% clear but when I do breakout, I usually get a lovely cyst or two, and this has never aggravated a breakout (whiteheads or cysts) of any sort. My jawline is SUPER dry, as well as my cheeks. However my forehead is an oil slick and this moisturizer has been perfect!

I have a combination of oily(t-zone)/dry skin(cheeks,jaw, etc). At first this worked in the beginning. When i first bought it i had some redness/ irritation on my nose due to using oxy cleansing pads. It actually helped with the redness in the first 3 days. However, after a few weeks i started to notice my nose just kept getting clogged. My nose just kept getting blackheads, puss or white stuff from pores, bumps(clogged pores?) and very small red pimples. Even, when i exfoliate they return in 2 days.My nose is usually very oily but when i don't moisturize it seems to get worst. I really wanted this to work. Hard to find something that works for my skin.

I've used this for a year, and have stopped using it and tried heavier moisturisers cause i found this wasnt as effective as moisturising, however i always find myself coming back. This is a very WEAK moisturiser. If your on antibiotics try something stronger. This does moisturiser and does control oil, and its the only thing that does not clog my pores.

Bottom line, this is one of the best moisturizers i've used. It does what it claims and a little bit goes a long way.

This stuff is miracle in a bottle! My skin looked like crocodile skin, but within a week of using this product, my skin was soft and smooth again! And best of all, absolutely no breakouts. My face has actually become completely clear since starting to use this product. There is nothing negative I can think of to say about it! I love it!

I dont recommend it. I ran out of my previous moisturizer ( which is my mums sheseido white lucent with spf, but its too expensive) so I opted for this one instead. My face have never been so oily before after 4 hours of application. I was off accutane for 3 months now. This moisturizer didnt seem too help. Makes my face even more oily.

The product seemed to be good at first, but it really didn't do much for my skin. It was still dry, but it made parts of my skin get greasy. However, my younger sister with oily skin swears by this!
