Great moisturizer!
Wow, I'm surprised by all the bad reviews on here! I happen to really like this moisturizer. It's gentle and works well with my combination, sensitive skin. I guess it's a tad bit slow to absorb, as in I wouldn't go out in public without waiting a few minutes because I look shiny temporarily. But that's the only downside! There are some great ingredients in here...jojoba oil, licorice root, Squalane, vitamin E, etc.... It works well under makeup. The price is right too. All around, the whole kit is awesome. Thank you Dan!

Great Moisturizer

Pros:

Dries Fairly Quickly
Moisturizes very well.

Cons:

None.

I've dealt with acne my entire life. There are times when I have it under control and there are times when it flares ups for no apparent reason. I've used the Regimen on and off for years, and I've come to the realize that it's the only way to keep my acne under control. However let me tell you , buy the Cetaphil Soap Bar or the Store brand one from Walgreens or Cvs, it's a much cheaper option for "gentle cleanser" ( 3 bars for $8-$9 bucks and they last a while). For the Benzoyl Peroxide and Moisturizer YOU MUST but it from Acne.org, the 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide is great and the Moisturizer is awesome. If you get Cystic acne, just go to the dermatologist and get some Cortisone shots, I've gotten them and they work great. Unfortunately it seems like I, like many other people on this site, will have to do this Regimen till who knows when in our lives. As far as my diet, I've tried all possible diets and i'd still get acne, I tried Zarzaparilla for 3 months ( I was making the tea myself with the actual herb), I tried the caveman regimen for 3 months and more stuff, the only thing that works is ocassional use of antibiotics and cortisone shots if Cystic acne flares up and the Regimen. By the way , I only use BP at night , in the morning I still wash my face but instead of BP i use some topical antibiotic that my derm gave me Clyndamacin if I'm not mistaken, but I don't use it all over , i apply to spots where i might something semi active, and once it dries I apply moisturizer. ALWAYS APPLY MOISTURIZER!!!BP will irritate your skin so much and even cause more acne. But i'm telling you , you won't find another MOISTURIZER like this one out there, the closest thing is Neutrogena - Combinatino Skin, but it's too expensive and it doesn't dry as well as the Acne.org Moisturizer.

Does it ´s required job!

Pros:

Smells good, moisturizes the skin
Jojoba oil is the 2nd ingredient

Cons:

none

This moisturizer is great. You will not find this quality moisturizer anywhere else on the market. This moisturizer along with Dan ´s other products is a testimony to why he gets up in the morning and does what he does; help people, make quality products and improve people's lives.

Is not bad totally

Pros:

no sting feeling
moisturizing very well
calm down irritated skin

Cons:

weird smell
need to order online and postage is very expensive
yellow color

I have tried the old moisturizer before, it got the sting feeling, this one has none. It helps to calm down my skin after using the BP, and doesnt clog the pores which is the main point of getting clear. Is actually not that bad as i was told by the previous review. Give it a try. you will love it.

Love it!

Pros:

light, yet moisturizing
absorbs well
anti-inflammatory

Cons:

smelly/yellow if you use too much

This is really the best moisturizer I have ever used. My face gets quite dry using BP, but this moisturizer fixes that! Most moisturizers do not help enough, and they can feel heavy and thick or too thin and irritating. With this moisturizer, I feel like my skin is hydrated and protected and it can still breathe! I don't use as much as Dan recommends, because I use less BP. The anti-inflammatory ingredient is perfect for my sensitive skin. I don't mind the smell, because it works so well for me!

My favorite moisturizer
This is the best facial moisturizer I've ever used. I have very dry skin, so the formula actually works perfectly for me rather than being too greasy. I don't find the smell to be a problem and I love that the base is jojoba oil.

Pros:

works great on my skin
absorbs quickly
no perfumes added
great for sensitive skin

Cons:

it does stain white blouses, but I just add some stain remover before washing and it comes right out.

I really like the moisturizer, I add the jojoba oil and it really helps my flakes and dry skin. I do this several times a day to my skin. The Acne.org products have made a bid difference in my skin. A big improvement! Would highly recommend this program!

Pros:

Fragrance free, inexpensive, does not cause breakouts!!!!

Cons:

Yellow color

At 40 years old I started having severe cystic breakouts along my jawline, the side of my cheeks and occasionally around my mouth. After googling 'acne' a million times trying to find answers, I clicked on this site that kept coming up and started reading. I was skeptical, but had nothing to lose. If I had before and after photos to show I would! This has been a miracle really, I am so grateful to Dan. I nave never written a review on anything, but I feel this is so important! The regimen works!

Pros:

completely non comedogenic, helped restore my skin's lipid barrier and the lichochalcone (?) calms my skin when it is irritated

i like it so much with the jojoba oil...i gave a bottle to my friend and she keeps thanking me. She and i had both stopped moisturizing because a lot of moisturizers clog pores...but not moisturizing really weakens skin and it becomes a downward spiral. i am so very happy to be moisturizing again.
September 14, 2012

Pros:

Light and quick to absorb
Soothes irritated/broken out skin and reduces redness.
Works quickly on very dry skin
Excellent under makeup
Doesn't leave a greasy film or any kind of residue
Excellent value

Cons:

No SPF sun protection
The yellow color can leave stains on white towels if you have extra on your hands and you wipe them (rinse your hands if the moisturizer hasn't absorbed).

I wish I'd tried this moisturizer sooner! I've tried almost everything out there and I've spent hours reading the labels of moisturizers in the drugstore. This is the best moisturizer that I've ever tried, and it's also the best value. This moisturizer is about half the price of anything comparable in the drug store, even when factoring in the shipping. The only downside is that I've had to find a good sunscreen that isn't too smelly and doesn't irritate my skin. I feel like this is a small price to pay for such a fantastic moisturizer. Thank you Dan!!
