Pros:

Light
Non-greasy
No foul smell or taste (in case someone might kiss it off and notice)
Absorbs fairly fast
Gentle

Cons:

Not all that hydrating
Does not help flakes at all

I like this stuff for how simple it is. I feel like I could put this on at any time because it never shows if you put it on light and let it soak in. I never find it greasy or leaves any residue or feel of any kind, I think it actually makes my skin tone slightly better after applying it. It has no taste so if someone kisses it off or you eat and had it on your lips there is no worry. Sadly, I'm not sure how effective it is either. Sure if has less major flaws moisturizers tend to have and it doesn't break me out but it also doesn't moisturize extremely well and is useless on flakiness. Good for over-all, bad for dry patches of skin.

Pros:

none for me

Cons:

stings and burns
creates extremely dry patches that take more than a week to heal

I loved the old formulation of the moisturizer, but absolutely cannot use this one. I seem to have developed a sensitivity to the licorice root, as I can't use the AHA now, either. I know a lot of people love this stuff, but it sounds like there are a number of us who can't use it. Please, please, please give us the option of purchasing the old moisturizer, too! There is just nothing else on the market that is so gentle and moisturizing.

Pros:

nice consistency

Cons:

The lichochalcone in the AHA burned my face and gave me an allergic reaction: extreme redness in the face, itchy and burning feeling, swelling around the eyes. When I found that the same stuff was in the new moisturizer, I was very dissapointed. now I will have to look elsewhere for a moisturizing product. Bring back the old one please!

New formula causes an allergic reaction (for me at least) please bring back the old formula.

Pros:

Goes on easy

Cons:

Does not moisturize well
Leaves skin flaky and dry
Funny yellow tint

Not too big of a fan of this product. I was using Cetaphil cream moisturizer while waiting for Dan's kit. While I liked cleanser and treatment, I think I will switch back to Cetaphil for the moisturizing part. I believe it would have been OK to use it without BP. But while on BP, most people would need more potent moisturizer to take care of dryness.

Pros:

Calms the skin and reduces redness.

Cons:

By itself, it leaves my skin a little dry.

You need to add a couple drops of jojoba for this moisturizer to agree with dry skin. Too many people are complaining about this moisturizer because they either are used to the old formula or they don't know how to effectively use THIS formula. The old formula had glycerin in it, which acts like a moisturizer. Dan got rid of that ingredient for the new moisturizer (because it caused stinging for some people). Consequently, the new formula has a different feel on your skin. You need to figure out how much jojoba to mix in based on your skin's needs.

Pros:

Absorbs well, doesn't smell, keep my skin from being oily

Cons:

NONE

I was disappointed to see so many of you are having problems with the moisturizer. This is the first time I have placed a equal amount of moisturizer on my skin as BP. I really enjoy being able to use moisturizer with my skin routine instead of walking around red and flaky with big pimples all over.

Pros:

Light, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly. Evens skin tone. No stinging after BP application.

Cons:

Initial increase in flakiness - may require reapplication during the day.

I switched to this product after using Dan's previous moisturizer with the Regime. I have found this moisturizer to be a vast improvement over the last moisturizer for several reasons. It absorbs easily and quickly into my skin without leaving any greasy-residue. I have also noticed fewer pimples since using this moisturizer and I think it may be due to decreased irritation - this formula seems more gentle. It took my skin a while to get used to the transition and I experienced increased flakiness for a few weeks however that has completely diminished. When I do get pimples, this moisturizer seems to quickly calm them and reduce the redness and inflammation. I would recommend that you try this product along with the regime, I have never found a better moisturizer, acne.org or not!

Pros:

Moisturizes very well. Dries fast. Matte finish. Doesn't smell bad. Yellow makes it look exclusive.

Cons:

Two pumps really needed or is Dan just extorting us? White streaking before drying can be intimidating at first. Price is too expensive for a month supply.

Best face moisturizer I ever used. Much better than the old oily one.
