Pros:

Moisturize's skin very well, makes skin fell very smooth, and helps with flakes!

Cons:

a little irritating for first few times (my skin is very sensitive) but your skin gets used to it and it feels nice. I still get flaky from time to time but its winter and very dry around here.

This is a great moisturizer! If your using Dan's regimen this is crucial! It really makes all the difference.

Pros:

Soothing
Moisturizing

Cons:

Can ball up
Leaves my skin slightly greasy with 2 full pumps

I like this moisturizer, but it is slightly bothersome that it can sometimes ball up and peel off later in the day. I find that 2 full pumps leaves my skin greasy, so I usually use around a pump and a half. I will continue to use this moisturizer until Acne.org reformulates it to get rid of the idiosyncrasies!

Pros:

Non-greasy
Does seem to reduce irritation
Hydrates
Does not ball up with BP like a lot of moisturizers.

Cons:

Not particularly good at controlling flakes.
Takes forever to absorb, although it does eventually
Sometimes stings upon application

It's great stuff, fantastic for use with the regimen. Unfortunately it doesn't work well with flakes, so you may want to have a greasier moisturizer for the occasional trouble/flakey spot. Don't let the poor rating fool you, people are just upset over the old moisturizer being discontinued. Frankly, the old moisturizer really did irritate my skin and made it horribly, horribly red, as was apparently a common problem for some people. It makes sense that Dan switched to something new to try to help more people, it just sucks for the few that the old moisturizer did work really well for.

Pros:

Invisible after application
Doesn't cause acne medication to rub off
Doesn't seem to encourage acne growth or make existing acne worse

Cons:

Need to use a ton of the stuff to keep your face hydrated

Works great, and unlike most of the other moisturizers I've tried, applying it doesn't cause acne medications already on your face to come off, provided that you don't rub very hard. The recommended dose, 2 pumps, takes a fairly long time to rub into the skin, though I've found that I can get away with 1 - 1.5 pumps, depending on how dry my skin feels. Best of all, using it doesn't seem to make my acne worse, so I can use the amount I want instead of being forced to guess how much I can get away with using. This moisturizer seems to be more acnegenic for some reviewers than for others, so it might be best to apply it with caution to start.

Pros:

Extremely fast absorption
Very light
Very easy to apply
Moisturizes well

Cons:

None in terms of the product itself...but the price is kind of steep due to shipping costs.

I don't know why so many people are bashing this product and asking for a new one. I held off on writing a review before I actually USED the product for a couple of weeks in order to actually provide a good review. This works flawlessly and as stated on the product. For those of you who are crying about how bad this product is - just switch. There's no need for Dan to bring back the old one.

Pros:

Much better than old formula! Sinks in quickly and leaves a matte finish! Creamy feel that doesn't leave you shiny. Works very well under mineral makeup. The yellow coloring does not alter your skin tone. No breakouts, no tacky feel on your skin, no shiny face! Perfect!

Cons:

None!

Way better than the old version. Try it!

Pros:

No petrolatum, no mineral oil, not greasy. Absorbed quickly, no heavy feel. Didn't sting.

Cons:

none so far, I just started using this moisturizer today.

Actually, this is my 2nd try. I tried the old formula a couple of years ago and it stung. I was using Differin and the moisturizers I was using (Clinique DDM Gel and Olay Sensitive) was stinging so I tried this one because I was trying to stay away from all that petrolatum and mineral oil based moisturizer. Like I said, it stung. Good thing I only bought the trial size. I decided to use Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream in the tube. No choice, only one that doesn't sting. But it causes those tiny white bumps in the corners of my lower lip. The ones when you squeeze, the white heads come out. i also used Jojoba Oil as moisturizer, applied it while skin ws damp. But not moisturizing enough. Today, no burning sensation so far. Im almost done with my last Differin and Im switching to AHA +. One thing I did, To limit friction: I don't rub the towel to dry my face. When I apply any type of cream (moisturizer, treatment, sunblock), I smear it on, no pressure, no rubbing, No massaging. I will update this review every week

Pros:

Moisturizes pretty well, without making my face look greasy. I'm only on day 3 of the regimen, but I don't have any flakes or redness really so it could just be my skin is LESS sensitive then others who gave this product a bad review.

Cons:

I would prefer it to be in a squeeze tube like the BP but no big deal.

Unless you need SPF... I wouldn't use anything besides this or Complex 15 (also light).
December 13, 2010

Pros:

Significantly reduces oil and shine!!
Goes on easily
Feels cool and refreshing on
No scent

Cons:

If you apply it without the BP treatment it takes a lot longer to absorb into the skin

I'm still a little flaky from the treatment and so you need to use a lot of moisturizer but this stuff rocks!! Please don't ever change the formula!!
