Pros:

Can't find any.

Cons:

Does not moisturize my skin at all. Skin feels very tight and dry an hour after I apply 4 pumps... Did not help at all with flaking. Even after applying 4 pumps, my face was dry and tight and shiny at the same time. Switched to Cetaphil and never looked back.

Pass on this moisturizer, especially if you are early on the regimen. Cetaphil worked wonders for me.

Pros:

soothing, gentle

Cons:

stings, leaves flakes, does not absorb quickly

not a fan of the new moisturizer. you have to use a ton, it takes forever to absorb, and it leaves skin very dry and flaky. burns a ton when you put it on right after BP and stains shirts and white towels. I have switched to Cetaphil. Dan is usually great about this stuff, so I hope we have a solution in the coming weeks.

Pros:

Dan obviously had good intentions when creating this product but sadly i cant think of many pros.

Cons:

leaves yellow tint to the face that looks almost like seeping
does not help with dryness unless your willing to carry it around with you and apply at any sign of flakes throughout your day

Obviously Dan is trying to help all of us by improving his treatments, so i think all of you need to calm down first and foremost. I just recently began using the regimen and it absolutely made my skin 1000% better (minus the cystic abscess on my right side but that was bound to happen anyway) it took away all of my previous whiteheads (30-40 a day) in under a week, it was a miracle, and made my skin look actually flesh colored again. But after a few days i noticed that the moisturizer wasn't helping me at all but making me look worse. PLEASE Dan for all of us go back to your original moisturizer or at least change the new one

Pros:

I'm sorry but there aren't any

Cons:

Does not moisturize well
Expensive
Smell

I was so excited when Dan announced his new moisturizer. But after using it for a week I am searching for a new moisturizer. I used 4 pumps (FOUR!!!) and my skin would begin to feel tight after half an hour. I'm very unhappy. Please reintroduce the old formula or sell both please!

Pros:

You get a lot of it for the money.

Cons:

Bring the old one back please!!!!! This new formula is not working for me because...
- It leaves a greasy yellow residue
- Said residue clumps when I apply makeup
- Said yellow residue also stains pillowcases
- It stings to high heaven (and I don't even have really sensitive skin)
- It doesn't give enough moisture... even when you take the time to glop on 2 full pumps

I won't be repurchasing this nor will I be finishing my bottle. I normally always buy the big kit, but I will only be buying the cleanser and treatment for myself and my sister from now on. I have been using the oil-free Cetaphil as a daytime replacement, but I need to find a new nighttime moisturizer. Dan has made so many great products (i.e. the cleanser, BP treatment, AHA), but this one just does not work for me.

Pros:

WTF IS THIS $#*!

Cons:

- leaves a weird yellow residue
- doesn't take care of flakiness
- doesn't take care of dryness

this moisurizer SUCKS! honestly, it says on the website "takes care of all flakiness" oh is that right? then why is my skin still as flaky as a desert? especially in these cold canadian winters.. and speaking of living in canada i had to pay 20$ for shipping & handeling for the whole large kit..and that was the cheapest option. i LOVE the treatment bp but for me everything else is crap! i'm so dissapointed. hopefully cerave will work better for me..

Which moisturizer u using now?
January 1, 2011

Pros:

-Leaves a somewhat better texture than old formula

Cons:

-STINGS badly when applying BP now
-Flakes really quickly
-Needs twice the amount to moisturize compared to last moisturizer
-Redness (likely from stinging)
-Leaves skin feeling excessively tight/dry

I've been on the regimen for four years and all of the products and improvements have impressed me until now. This moisturizer is abysmal and I really don't know what was going on for it to replace the old one which was working fantastically. "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!" Bring back the old moisturizer!!! I prefer a negligible amount of shiny-ness instead of tight, stingy, flaky skin. :(

Which moisturizer you using now?
December 25, 2010

Pros:

helps reduce redness

Cons:

does not moisturize
leaves many flakes

not effective at all at moisturizing. I use the entire 2 pumps like recommended, but using 2 entire pumps doesnt even really absorb into the skin. Works fine for about an hour or 2 then face becomes extremely dry/flaky

Pros:

Helps reduce redness. That's about it.

Cons:

Does not moisturize.
Doesn't help with flakiness.

The old formula I could apply twice a day, once in the morning and once at night and I'd be fine without any flakiness or dryness. This new one doesn't moisturize. My skin is dry in less then an hour after application with jojoba oil. I moisturize 3+ a day with this and it is still not enough. Thought I finally had a system that worked and now it's ruined.
