Pros:

none

Cons:

too many.
does not help with dryness and flakiness EVEN WITH 5-6 drops of jojoba oil day and night,
makes my face look greasy and yellow for the whole day, then eventually I just look red with speckled dry flaky skin. Not too mention it takes forever to absorb. what a waste of time spending 5-10 minutes day and night for this stuff. so disappointed. AND im breaking out- who knows if this has anything to do with it?

I am going to start using cetaphil cream- lets see if this is another disappointing trial and error for stupid acne.

-makes face oil a bunch
-makes face break out with random underground cysts

I LOVED the old moisturizer. I still have some left so after trying out the new moisturizer for awhile and breaking out, I tried going back to the old moisturizer and my face cleared right back up. Bring the old moisturizer back pleeeeease

Pros:

none

Cons:

made me break out in places where I have ever get acne
oily
dried out my skin
doesn't absorb very well
burnt the skin and made it peel
yellow tint

I HATE IT ! the worst moisturizer ever! bring back the old formula or otherwise you will loose your customers. I'm still recovering from peeling and I know it broke me out because I used cleanse and BP from the regimen as usual. when I switched it to another moisturizer, skin went back to normal (well almost, still have some irritation it caused).

I like the previous formula much better. Please bring back your old formula and allow us to have an option.

Pros:

Doesn't make your face oily
Goes on easy

Cons:

Leaves a noticeable yellow tint
Does not take care of flakes
Does not take care of dryness

Worst moisturizer I've ever used. My face was very dry but I kept on using it, applied more and more to take care of the dryness but just ended up looking like a lemon. If you accidentally rub your face on your clothes or anything, it will turn yellow. Did not hydrate one bit, dries yellow. If you have any flakes, it will dye them yellow. Bottom line, does nothing for your skin besides, once again, making it yellow. Bring back the old moisturizer pleeeease!

Pros:

-Moisturizes somewhat

Cons:

-Takes long to absord
-Tightness after showering
-Flakiness
-Just doesn't seem to do its job

Not happy with this after a week of use so far - I have been diligent with the regimen and all the minute details - still have issues with this moisturizer. Throughout the day I get flakiness and often times its too late, I will have gone half the day with this stuff showing up on my face, people must think I'm sick or something... Also, it takes FOREVER to absorb. I run an extremely tight schedule and though I squeeze in time to properly do the regimen, this stuff is stubborn as hell to get into my body. Seems like the best and only time to really apply this is after shaving when the skin seems most absorbent. Please change this formula to absorb easier, and also add in some spf for sunscreen protection.

Pros:

Better than nothing

Cons:

Leaves skin flaky and shiny. Maybe this works in humid climates such as San Fran but in the north it doesn't have nearly the needed moisturizing power.
Now I have to go start trying other moisturizers.

Should have left the original formula alone. This is by far the most garbage moisturizer I have ever used. If I wanted licochalcone I would have bought the AHA which is good for spot treatment. Dan, bring back the old formula

Pros:

None

Cons:

Does not moisturize
Flakiness/Dryness is unbearable
Shiny skin after application

I have been on the Acne.org regimen for 5 years. Dan's new formula is a turn for the worse. It does not moisturize and made my skin flaky very quickly after starting to use it. I stuck it out for a month or so to see if the flakiness subsided but it did not. I even tried putting a lot more moisturizer on than normal and that did not help. One thing I noticed while using this is that my skin feels extremely dry and tight after getting out of the shower. After switching back to Dan's original moisturizer formula for only a few days my skin feels very moisturized and flakiness has subsided and I no longer feel the dryness/tightness after showering. I cannot recommend this moisturizer at all and I hope Dan brings back the old formula or at least something comparable since I will not be buying the new formula again.

Pros:

Tasted kind of good if I got a little on my lips

Cons:

Did not moisturize at all
Left face looking shiny
Made face sting
Started getting wrinkles

This product didn't work for me at all. It didn't moisturize and made the dry skin sting. I kept using more and more hoping it would work better, but all that did was hide the skin flakiness. Whenever I ate, the skin around my mouth would start flaking due to the skin movement, which was embarrassing. I had to start bringing another moisturizer to work with me to put around my mouth after lunch. After a couple months I started getting wrinkles on my forehead and the corners of my mouth, and that's when I decided to quit using it. I went back to the old moisturizer I used before I started the regimen, Nivea For Men Sensitive Lotion, and my face gradually went back to normal (no flakiness or wrinkles). The Nivea lotion tends to clump up because of the benzoyl peroxide if I'm not careful, but at least it works. I'm still looking for a better moisturizer to use. I didn't realize until now that I had been using a new formula of the Acne.org moisturizer. Wish I'd been able to try the old one!

Pros:

none for me

Cons:

stings and burns
creates extremely dry patches that take more than a week to heal

I loved the old formulation of the moisturizer, but absolutely cannot use this one. I seem to have developed a sensitivity to the licorice root, as I can't use the AHA now, either. I know a lot of people love this stuff, but it sounds like there are a number of us who can't use it. Please, please, please give us the option of purchasing the old moisturizer, too! There is just nothing else on the market that is so gentle and moisturizing.
