Pros:

None

Cons:

Colors your skin, stings after application of BP, Doesn't moisturize, leaves skin greasy.

I really did try to like this product but the reality is that this moisturizer just doesn't work at all. I made the mistake of applying it to my neck and it just made it horribly dry, itchy, and I broke out in a rash. Save your money.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Leaves my skin looking yellow.
Makes my skin look extremely oily and shiny.
Does not moisturize or hydrate my skin whatsoever.
Leaves my skin feeling tight and dry.
It stings.

Yes, I've only used this product for less than a week, but I honestly can't take it anymore. I have never in my life experienced a moisturizer quite like this one. It absolutely amazes me that a "moisturizer" this capable of leaving my skin looking like an oil slick at the same time provides absolutely no hydration whatsoever. It leaves my skin feeling tight and irritated (it stings quite a bit actually), and using jojoba oil to relieve the dryness doesn't exactly help the oily appearance of my skin. My skin is a combination type and really tough, I've never had any problems with irritation when using other products. Also, there's the color. Maybe it's just more visible on my skin because I'm so pale, but now I look like an Oompa-Loompa. It's really that bad.

Pros:

Sadly, none

Cons:

Doesn't get rid of flakes
Stings face after BP
Just doesn't moisturize in general

It worked at first and I got my hopes up believing it would work, but after about a week it just stopped working even when I used a huge amount of the product with jojoba. I decided I would still give it a chance and kept using it for about 3 months (plus I didn't trust any products but Dan's, until now) but it still wouldn't solve the dryness and flaking. Eventually I gave up on it and starting using Cetaphil DailyAdvance Ultrahydrating Lotion, which did solve the flakes, but makes my face red and kind of greasy. It's a shame, because all of Dan's other products are marvelous, but the moisturizer just ruins it. We need the old one.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Didn't get rid of flakes

I went through a period a few months ago where my skin was VERY dry, Stupidly, I used this product for WEEKS hoping it would eventually help - I just continued to use more and more. Finally, I said enough is enough and I switched back to Cetaphil and in ONE application my flakes were GONE. I'm not sure what exactly changed about the formula, but I can tell you that it is not a good change

Pros:

-none!! NONE!!! can't stress this enough!! NO PROS!

Cons:

-sooo bad, i'm surprised how bad it is every time I use it
-gave it two weeks time, used a HORRENDOUSLY HUGE AMOUNT every time YET NO MOISTURE!!!
-astoundingly bad product
-skin is MORE dry with it than without it!
-How is that possible???
-please, listen - if your skin is even slightly dry AVOID this

-I recently did a 10% TCA chem peel, and used this horrendous product, and it DID NOTHING to moisturize my skin -as a result i was left with peeling, horrendous crocodile skin -I was saving a bottle of the old formula for emergencies, and I thought that this severely dry skin constituted as one -applied old formula, and HOURS later my skin still feels soft and supple, no flakes -Proves the pover of the old formula -also my mother tried it, she has the skin of a baby (perfect) and she says that this made her skin look old -DO NOT BUY!!!!! WASTE OF MONEY and WORSE, WASTE OF SKIN!

Pros:

-nice texture

Cons:

-weird smell
-leaves skin taught and flaky after a couple of hours
-absolutely unnecessary product, skin better without it than with it

I don't know what this thing is supposed to do, but it certainly does not moisturize. I follow the regimen, and as a result suffer from pretty dry skin (but my acne went from moderate to nonexistent). When I put this on during the day, I cannot put makeup over it because my skin gets this weird dry texture, so makeup looks disgusting. I always have to remove my makeup, exfoliate, and then moisturize with something else in order to leave the house. I tried to wear this at night, and for a week woke up with dry skin, dry to the point that it was flakey in some areas. I even use the full two pumps, which I think clearly speaks to the fact that this moisturizer is ineffective! Don't waste your money!

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

It does not moisturize as well as the old one. Has a yellowish tint and wont take care of your flakiness ..

The old one was awesome. I have used it for 2 years with great success. Dan - have you ever heard of a saying - if it ain't broken, don't fix it? Look at the ratings of your new mousturizer vs the old one. I thought you cared about people and one would think you would bring it back in addution to the new one.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Takes forever for skin to absorb
Often skin remained dry after multiple applications
Allergic Reaction

I would not recommend this product. Caused an allergic reaction, and it didn't absorb into the skin. After application I just felt as though there was a film over my skin; very heavy. Yet, I would still have dry skin...even after adding Jojoba Oil.

Pros:

Doesn't sting face
Thicker than the last version

Cons:

Turns face orangey/yellowish tint!!!
Doesn't moisturize. Leaves flakey and dry.
Did I mention the orangeish tint I now have?
Oh, and the orange tint.
Let's not forget the orange freaking tint!!!!

Even with the suggested 3 full pumps and 5-6 drops of jojoba oil my face is extremely flakey. I feel like I am wearing a thick mask. I despise this lotion. It is the devil. It leaves everything to be desired. Don't listen to the creator who says it won't turn your face yellow. The proof is in the pudding. Reddish skin from the b/p combined with yellow tinted moisturezer (can I even call it a moisturizer when it doesn't in fact moisturize?) turns your skin orange. I call bullhockey about it not turning face yellowey. I'm frustrated that no one over in create-this-stuff ville will listen to me and it is deny deny deny. I didn't like the stinging from the last moisturizer but anything is better than orange freaking pastry skin.
