Pros:

very cheap, effective, cleanse the kidney which therefore stops acne

Cons:

can be sour and bad for your teeth (unless you drink it through a straw)

i was really skeptical about this curing acne. i had acne real bad, i broke out and ended up going to the doctor for medicne. i was in hurry to get rid of my acne before band camp stopped which was next week. found this recipe online and decided to give it a try. After a few days, i honestly didn't believe it'd work but 2 days before band camp. my skins was actually pimple free. i was amazed and decided to stop drinking it. within a couple weeks my acne came back so i knew that this drink had an affect on my acne.

Pros:

Dries up acne super-fast. Improves the overall condition of your skin. Gives you fresh breath.

Cons:

Bad for tooth enamel??? Just use a straw and take advantage of nature's cheap acne medicine.

I've taken it before but didn't see any significant results. so i discontinued. Then, a few months ago i got the flu and regularly drank lemon(preferably lime) tea + honey every night and within 2 or three days i received so many compliments i didn't know where to put them! It was the first time in my post puberty-life that i actually had lovely skin!! I used at least half a lemon, discarded the outside skin and microwaved the inside in 8 oz of water for 1 min. I added honey and enjoyed. This slaughtered the acne causing bacteria on my face!!!

Pros:

My threading specialist Rikki, suggested I drink lemon water to clear up my acne. I have been using it for two or three weeks now and my face looks great. It really Works!

Cons:

My teeth started to get a little sensitive so I
used more water and less lemon and I got my first pimple the next two days after. Soooo.. Do i want clear skin or bad teeth?

I will return to the original dose (half of the lemon) with 1 cup of water and I will use toothpaste for sensitive teeth. After all, I got my confidence back and I want to keep it.

Pros:

This is an incredible nautral way to help your skin and your whole body in general. I have been drinking lemon water for a little over a month now, and the benefits are astounding.

Cons:

None!!! (Except I've heard of tooth enamel decay but never expierenced this myself)

This is a great way to cleanse the body and clear the skin. In addition to clear skin I have noticed my metabolism speedinh up, more regular bowel movements, and an increase in overall wellness. Plus, it's cheap and makes plain water taste great!!

Pros:

Plesant in the right amount! Also, VERY affordable and effective.

Cons:

This treatment may strip the enamel on teeth if prevenative measures are not taken.

Hey you guys, Please be careful! You are drinking wayyyy too much lemon juice! A HALF of one lemon in one cup of water is PLENTY! Do this first thing in the morning on an empty stomache. You should not have a need to drink it at night, but it won't hurt. However, a small amount of undiluted lemon juice applied topically at night (with a Q-Tip) to the problem area is better. You may also squeeze then strain fresh lemon juice and mix one part juice to two parts filtered water and put in a spray bottle. Use this as a mist for hard to reach areas of your body at night and rinse off by morning. Good luck! (PS: If you are worried about acid errosion, use a straw or 'Pronamel' toothpaste or something similar.)
