Pros:

Reduces acne.
Reduces scarring.

Cons:

Erodes tooth enamel.
Sour.

I freshly squeezed one lemon a day (in the afternoon) and added enough warm water to fill the cup and forced myself to drink it with a straw (just to be safe from tooth damage) and what can i say! I saw an improvement within a week! Although I would like to stress that this isn't the only thing I did. I also cleaned up my diet a little by reducing carbohydrates as much as possible and eating more fruits. But i definitely recommend this as the fast way to reduce your acne. Good luck :)

Pros:

Clears up Acne, and you dont have to bother with face creams which make your face dry and itchy!

Cons:

None so far!

I was on Proactiv for four months and tried sooo many topical medicines for a couple years before and saw no difference in my acne. It had been increasing steadily too. I started drinking lemon juice each day a month ago and my face had no acne on it after three weeks or so. I stopped drinking it and my acne came back, now I'm drinking it again and no new pimples! This is a way to naturally get rid of your acne from forming in the first place from within instead of treating your skin to harsh chemicals.

Pros:

gives you energy, clears up skin, revs up your metabolism (hot cup of lemon water in the morning)

Cons:

wears off enamel on teeth :[

I think everybody in the world should drink one cup of hot natural lemon water a day in the morning. It jumpstarts your metabolism, giving you more energy, and the acidity in it helps clean out your liver which can lead to clear skin. So everybody, DO IT

Scarring and redness fading
Since drinking lemon juice yhe redness in my scars has faded so much - I assume this is because of the high vitamin C content. I peel a whole lemon and put it in the blender with some water and drink it with breakfast. I recommend using a blender to retain the white bits (that you can't extract with a juicer) that are high in vitamin content.

It works!

Pros:

Helps clear acne fast
Helps with digestion
Simple and easy

Cons:

Bad for teeth (so drink through straw)
Acquired Taste

I have tried lots of acne and only one worked. But it didn't work very well and it was expensive. So I went searching for something cheap that would work. Well I found this. Luke warm lemon water in the morning and evening. It is an acquired taste, so if it is so unbearable it is okay to put a teaspoon of honey in it. I highly recommend this product!

Pros:

Effective, inexpensive

Cons:

Not great for your teeth

I started drinking lemon water twice a day about a month ago. After a week or so, my skin was the most consistently clear it had ever been. I wasn't sure if it was because of the lemon water or the AHA that I started using at the same time. About a week and a half ago, I got lazy and stopped drinking the lemon water. My skin broke out pretty badly. Once I started drinking the lemon water again, it started to clear up. I'll be honest, I don't particularly enjoy drinking this stuff, mainly because of how it makes me teeth feel - but it is totally worth it.

Pros:

helped a ton with my acne. I tried everything, proactive, i went to get facials and bought everything they thought would help. I then went online and found the thing about lemon and water and it has worked miracles for my skin.

Cons:

Tastes really bad and to help with that i add honey. People say lemon is bad for your teeth and to balance that out i add honey (honey is good for your teeth) .

Try it! what have you got to lose! :)

Pros:

Dries up acne super-fast. Improves the overall condition of your skin. Gives you fresh breath.

Cons:

Bad for tooth enamel??? Just use a straw and take advantage of nature's cheap acne medicine.

I've taken it before but didn't see any significant results. so i discontinued. Then, a few months ago i got the flu and regularly drank lemon(preferably lime) tea + honey every night and within 2 or three days i received so many compliments i didn't know where to put them! It was the first time in my post puberty-life that i actually had lovely skin!! I used at least half a lemon, discarded the outside skin and microwaved the inside in 8 oz of water for 1 min. I added honey and enjoyed. This slaughtered the acne causing bacteria on my face!!!
