Pros:

Refreshing
Helps fight breakouts
Hydrating for skin and body

I apply lemon juice topically to the acne scars that I have on my face as well. For the past three months I have transitioned to drinking only water ( I do sneak a soda-every once in a while) However for the past couple of weeks I have added lemon to it. It is great! With every sip I smile because I know its working on my skin from the inside out and I like to feel that when the lemon juice isn't applied topically I'm still getting the benefits of it all day. I also take vitamins daily to help with my acne. I truly believe that by drinking the lemon water it is speeding up the process! I love the results that I am getting! Makes me wish I would have started this a long time ago!

Pros:

- Cheap
- Effective

Cons:

- Bad for teeth
- May make you feel a little queasy if taken on an empty stomach

I've only been drinking this for about 4 weeks once every day usually after supper and my skin hasn't had a flare-up in the past 10 days. I have been taking it with cold water rather than warm. However, It doesn't seem to do anything for the little zits that are on my forehead - but it keeps the inflamed zits away.

Pros:

Definately clears skin, is good for body and imune system, and makes you feel great

Cons:

sore throat

Most teens get acne because their livers' have a hard time cleaning out their body of impurities like puss and all the junk. Lemon juice has been proven to help detoxify your body and liver. Great for health and apperance. (Work great even better if you also apply the lemon juice to your face)

Pros:

Plesant in the right amount! Also, VERY affordable and effective.

Cons:

This treatment may strip the enamel on teeth if prevenative measures are not taken.

Hey you guys, Please be careful! You are drinking wayyyy too much lemon juice! A HALF of one lemon in one cup of water is PLENTY! Do this first thing in the morning on an empty stomache. You should not have a need to drink it at night, but it won't hurt. However, a small amount of undiluted lemon juice applied topically at night (with a Q-Tip) to the problem area is better. You may also squeeze then strain fresh lemon juice and mix one part juice to two parts filtered water and put in a spray bottle. Use this as a mist for hard to reach areas of your body at night and rinse off by morning. Good luck! (PS: If you are worried about acid errosion, use a straw or 'Pronamel' toothpaste or something similar.)

Pros:

Tasted good
Sour
Settles stomach
Clears minor acne
Refreshes breath after meal

Cons:

Thins enamel on teeth
Messes with sinuses

The drink is for those with a palate for sour foods/ drinks, minor acne, and upset stomachs. It is potent, organic and refreshing. Not only that but it is rather cheap.

scars
I'm so glad that i used this instead of the "burning face mask". i found that almost impossible to make and it didn't even burn! i had taken a paper towel and ripped it to fit the curves of my face, then i poured lemon juice into a container and soaked my paper towels in the lemon juice. after, i drained the extra juice out of my paper towels by lightly squeezing them, and then placing them on my face. i keep them on my voce for about half an hour (or however long i feel like keeping them there). i can feel the places where i have scars and acne slightly burning! i then rinse off my face and rub ice cubes on for about 3-5 minutes. then i rinse my face with cool water and dab-dry. feels amazing and works great!

Pros:

Lemon juice is awesome! Very, very effective at clearing my acne (90%). Requires less than 2min a day to take (I used bottled juice). Cheap.
NO SIDE-EFFECTS!

Cons:

I had to take Omega-3 cod live oil while on the lemon juice or it doesn't work very well. Both were required to clear me up, individually they only sorta worked.

Try it! I wish I had tried this months ago. DOSAGE: ~ 1 oz, twice a day NOTE: I recommend 1 spoonful of omega-3, twice a day, and 1 (8oz) glass of green tea, twice a day.

Hm...
I have been considering adding lemon juice inside my water for a while now. I hear great things about it. However I wouldn't recommend anyone apply it directly on their face. I tried taking lemon juice and applying it on my face with a cotton swab for about a week. I had to stop because my face was becoming so red and irritated!!

Acnes and oily skin
I've tried using lemon, my skin has acnes and is sensitive. So, when it gets dirty, it effect my face directly. I tried using it twice a week. I usually squash the fresh lemon so I get the juice mixed with a little bit of sugar and honey. I applied it to my face and let it be for around 10mins. Then, wash with warm water. After a month using it, people said that my face is cleaner and brighter. Probably because the oil is slowly removed too and it doesn't make your skin dry. You need to regularly do this, or else your face will be back to the normal one becos that's what happened to me now.
