Advice?
Im confused, i saw very good review but also the worse review here. Some experienced their worse breakout and it's pretty scary tbh. I used to have severe acne but its now all gone. Left with brownish hyper pigmentation. Got any advice?

Pros:

-Cheap
-Easy to apply
- Easy to wash off

Cons:

-Stings quite a lot, but in about 2 or 3 minutes the pain vanishes.
- Slightly sticky

I have only used this once and it works really well. I used lemon to cure my pimples and i can see a slight improvement. Most of my pimples are all around my forehead (they are pretty much scattered everywhere) and after using this product i am starting to see that the pimples are decreasing. All the big pimples are becoming smaller and smaller! YAY! All you have to do is cut the lemon in to eighths, (i realised that all u really need is one eighth of a lemon to cover your face) squeeze ALL the juices out of it. Then apply to affected areas or you can put it all over your face if you want. Put it on before you go to bed, and leave it on over night. Then wash it off in the shower. Then in a couples of hours you will see some improvement. ABRACADBRA!

Pros:

reduces the size of pimples

Cons:

stings a lot
can be very harsh

I decided to try lemon as my first attempt at a natural remedy, and found it to be very harsh. I woke up and the pimples were much better, but my skin began to flake even though I diluted the lemon and moisturized after. For me, I found a mask of baking soda and lemon to be a better combination for my skin (which is oily and prone to white heads). After reading a lot of reviews on here, I was actually afraid to try it but I'm so glad I did! I have periods where my acne can get really bad and this cleared it right up. I've been using a mask for about a week now and I am very happy with the results. I put olive oil on my scars to soften them for about 5 minutes. Then, I take a wet wash cloth and heat it up as hot as I can stand it (for me, about 45 secs in the microwave) and put it on my face until it becomes cool to open my pores. I like to put baking soda in a small bowl, add a few drops of fresh lemon juice (note, if your skin is very sensitive you may want to forego the lemon) and then add water until it's a little softer than a toothpaste consistency. I put it on my face for a minimum of 10 minutes and then wash it off. The hardened baking soda exfoliates your skin as you wash it off. Make sure you moisturize a lot afterwards and that's it. Note: when the mask hardens it can begin to flake so be aware of your facial expressions! Worked much better for me.

Pros:

Cheap

Cons:

Dries out your skin if you use it everyday. Makes your skin kinda sticky. And don't ask how I know this, but it makes your face sour. =/

For the most part it reduces redness and swelling. But everyone's right...It stinks freakin horrible when you put it on. Usually to make it go by faster, I put my face by a vent when the heat is on..Or in front of a fan to dry it up.

Pros:

Leaves skin feeling soft
Gives skin glow
Fades scars
Cheap

Cons:

Didn't clear up acne
Burns and stings
Leaves skin feeling dry

I've tried this for about a month now, but it has done very little to clear up my acne. I've been applying it in the morning and at night before bed (after washing my face) with a cotton ball, and left it on to dry. I've been very careful not to let my face get to dry, and moisturize whenever needed. I had high hopes in the beginning, but sadly there's not really much improvement. Don't let this give your hopes up though, give it a try, its the only way to see if it works.

Pros:

feels refreshing, best used with a little honey for less drying of skin

Cons:

tingles for a minute or two, not working as fast as i thought

i have been using it for almost two weeks now and i havent really seen much results. i'm not sure how much it will help with my old acne scars since i havent seen any difference yet but with existing pimples, it helping lessening the redness but slow with diminishing it. i will keep using it as long as it is not causing more break outs. it hasn't dry my skin since i mixed it with honey and i can actually keep it on for an hour twice a day and wash it off with warm water.

Not for me
As much as I wanted it to work this remedy is not just for me. I keep thinking I will have progress at the end of the week or maybe i just have diff skin type than the others, but no. I used it for 3 weeks before giving up. I just wanted to get rid of these damn dark spots. And I keep thinking if it contributed to my breakout recently. It's just too much work and pain. So I decided to stop. I even mixed it with honey because it's too painful and dried my face. I really wanted this too work because of the positive reviews I read in here. But you know. It's a trial & error process and finding what's best for you. And this definitely is not for me.

GOT RID OF SCARS IN A WEEK
When i first started this i got turned off by the amount of burning it gave me and i also started to get bumps around my face so i stopped. a month after, i've put this on my fresh/red marks and it got rid of them in a week. HOWEVER, i find that these do not work for actual scars and brown marks. :)
