Pros:

makes face feel soft

Cons:

not sure if its helping

I have only used this product for a few days, and i appear to be breaking out more. Is this because the lemon is purging the "bad stuff" in the skin? I will report back in a few weeks

Pros:

Cheap, easy and natural.

Cons:

It burns and feels like a lot of tiny needles are poking your face. Leaving it on makes your skin unpleasantly tight and sticky.

To be fair, I've only used this method twice: tonight and last night. Nonetheless the results were just awful. I have sensitive combination skin (dry, patchy and red but still oily) which may have something to do with it. I applied the lemon juice with a cotton swab after washing my face with mild soap. When I woke up and washed it off I noticed that the lemon juice had caused me to break out. I know it was not just coincidence because I actually broke out in places that I never had and the pimples were especially painful. It made my skin really dry which I expected but it also made my face redder in general and did not have any effect on the discoloration/scars left by old acne. I'm especially disappointed because of all of the rave reviews. I really wanted this to work but maybe it's just not for everyone. I'm still debating whether I should try using a different routine like diluting the lemon or leaving it on for shorter... oh well :(

Pros:

affordable, natural and reduces blemishes

Cons:

acidic thus stings face when applied

i've used too much of the over-the-counter products to clear my blemishes, so decided an all natural method. Directions: Mix 50% distilled water and 50% lemon juice. Apply onto affected areas (slightly stingy) Results: Swelling of red inflammed spots come down. Blemishes dry up, abit of peeling (reckoned it as shedding skin process). Judgement: Overall effective, used it once only, planned to do it once a week.

Pros:

it definitely got rid of my pimples quickly, and at first evened out my skin tone (faded scars)

Cons:

I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and within a week of applying the lemon juice topically, my skin developed these horrible little bumps all over and felt so dry. It was awful.

I think this remedy is good for people with very resilient skin, tough skin. My skin is easily irritated so using it regularly would not work for me. Maybe if you have dry, sensitive skin you should use it no more than once a week. The aspirin/honey mask has worked wonders for me though.

Pros:

none

Cons:

very irritating, very drying and not for sensitive skin

I cant beleive this has so many good reviews.LEMON APPLIED TOPICALLY CAN BURN OUT YOU SKIN.the only thing it did was making my skin red and small red pimples began to form.NOT RECCOMENDED FOR SENSITIVE SKIN.what a hoax.however lemon as a drink works really well but not topically
