Pros:

cheap, organic

Cons:

gave me rash or nasty-looking red bumps on my face, after leaving the juice on for the whole night.

Not sure about its effectiveness yet. This time I left it on for the whole night and my face feels irritated the next morning; looks like I have allergy or something. I believe it's better to leave it on for about 10 min but no longer than 15, just make sure to test on one small area several times (morning & night) to see if it works. I'll give it another shot after my face recovers.

Pros:

it helps to fade red marks

Cons:

stings for 1-2 minutes

it will take about 3-4 months to fade a dark red acne scar

Pros:

Smells great
Reduces redness.
Easy to use

Cons:

Stings a bit

Used it for about a week & a half straight, & it WAS working great, but I can't exactly tell if it works 100%, since I got my period & broke out alot >.> I like it so far though, & all my Murad products are still in their box since I've read this forum.

Pros:

pretty cheap. works pretty well. smells nice. pores are tightened and are almost nonvisible

Cons:

stings a little. and squeezing them is pretty time consuming for me, hehe

i'm on my 2nd week and results are looking good but not everything is completely clear yet. so i'm just trying to be patient although i am a very impatient person.

Pros:

makes skin glow!

Cons:

Stings!

I steam my face over a hot pot for 10 minutes (I place a towel over head to trap steam) then rub lemon all over. I keep it on for 10 minutes then wash off if ots morning or sleep in it all night if its evening. For the whole day I have skin that glows and is supple. Be careful when steaming. I've never been burned, but be aware!

Pros:

Smells great, tightens pores, skin glows and no new acne...knock on wood!

Cons:

Stings at first, but that tells me its working.

Give it a shot, you've got nothing to lose! I recently learned I was pregnant and had to stop EVERY prescription medication. I FREAKED. Have no fear, lemon juice is here! And my skin is even more beautiful w/o the other medications... Its organic!

Pros:

Smells good
Inexpensive
Effective exfoliant at the very least

Cons:

Stings for the first few minutes afteer applied

I use it every other day, alternating with the sea salt & seaweed mask. I am very fond of this method. I gradually reduces my hyperpigmentation whilst exfoliating my skin, making it soft and smooth. I noticed it also helps reduce my oil production.

Pros:

Scars fade and clearing acne already

Cons:

stings like b**ch for about 5 mins

I've tried everything, absolutely everything except for accutane, and this seems to have pulled it off! Clearing skin in less than 1 week, scars have faded away over night, and still continue to

Pros:

It does work, although it can take anywhere from overnight to a couple weeks. Stick with it!
Smells good
cheap

Cons:

Burns initially

I would definitely suggest you at least try this if you have acne. It is a very cheap and much more effective way of treating acne than any medication. Just get a cotton ball or something similar, get lemon juice on it, and dab on your acne and the places that acne frequently develops, let it dry on there for about 3 mins, then proceed about your night as normal. You don't need to sleep in any weird positions to make sure it doesn't come off because your skin will have absorbed it by that time. It's important to note that this is more of a cover up than a long term treatment - you can use it for as long as you like but as soon as you stop the acne might come back.
