Pros:

Cheap and it seems to work. It doesn't leave dry skin flakes like other drying face wash, but it is very drying. Fades existing scars. It works the same way as Beta-Hydroxy acids but since it's an Alpha-Hydroxy it must be left on.

Cons:

I think it may have formed a sligh rash on my cheeck...so I don't recommend using it where you don't need it (I generaly only have T-spot acne)

I've only been using it for about 4-5 days, and I'm going to try using it with Olive oil as a moisturizer. I'm still getting the occasional whitehead and blackheads but the nasty cystic type zits seem to have stopped forming. But I've also changed my diet slightly.

Pros:

It works.

Cons:

none.

I've tried EVERYTHING to make my face better. Ive tried proactiv, differn, retin-A, many pills, and over the counter products. Ive spend tons of money on products that didnt work. After using the lemon every morning and night, it helped clear up my face. My regime is using the Murad facewash and using a q- tip on the actual pimples. This really works, and I feel like I shouldnt be embarrassed of my face anymore.

Pros:

SKIN FEELS VERY CLEAN AND TIGHTER. I ALSO FELT LIKE I HAD A NATURAL GLOW AND DIDN'T NEED BLUSH OR BRONZER.

Cons:

AFTER 4 DAYS I DEVELOPED A SLIGHT RASH (TINY RED BUMPS) ON MY CHEEKS. I SHOULD HAVE DILUTED THE LEMON JUICE MORE OR NOT HAVE LEFT IT ON AS LONG. I DID IT FOR A HALF HOUR AT A TIME WHICH I BELIEVE CAUSED THE RASH.

I LOVE LEMON JUICE!!! WORKS AMAZING... EVENS OUT SKIN TONES AND LEAVES U FEELING SO CLEAN!!! (JUST WATCH OUT FOR OVEREXPOSING UR SKIN TO THE JUICE AND IRRITATING IT!)

Pros:

smells great, feels great, and it is all natural [if you have a tree outside like me, then its free!]

Cons:

stings for the first minute or so

your face feels refreshed without the gunky buildup many products leave. My advice, put it on before a night out and don't wear makeup: it gives your face a glow and reduces any pimples or red marks... and you don't have to worry about falling asleep with makeup on!

Pros:

I love the lemon!!! Smells great, affordable, refreshing, and actually works....

Cons:

The pulp on my skin....kind of annoying...And it stings initially...But no pain no gain.

The lemon has faded the darks spots on my skin from previous ance. I love to mix red clay with apple cidar vinegar, and apply topically to spots over night to get rid of any pimples. This has really worked for me. The lemon juice even out my complexion, and has reduced the amount of blackeahds on my face. DRINK DISTILLED WATER>....this has done wonders for my skin, energy, health....ect.....a gallon day keeps te pimples away, and keeps ya regualr...lol:)....Truthfully. LOve it!

Pros:

lightens acne marks it looks like!
smells fresh
didn't make my face red
my skin tone looks more even and some of my marks look faded
I don't think it made me break out

Cons:

stings and itches for some minutes after applying, which is quite annoying
doesn't get rid of active acne, at least not in my case

I'm very pleased with the results so far, however I've only used it for a week. My skin tone looks more even and my acne marks (I don't have that much active acne anymore) look like they are fading. But it could be a placebo effect :P It didn't break me out, I did however get about 4 new pimples when I just started using it, but I think that was just a coincidence because I was almost on my period, and when I'm having a period I always get new acne because of hormonal changes. So the new pimples probably weren't caused by the lemon juice. I continued using the lemon juice and I didn't get any new pimples this far. If you have a small paper cut in your fingers then you have to be careful! It hurts a lot if lemon juice gets in it! I first wash my face with a cleanser in the morning. Having done that, I apply the lemon juice (freshly squeezed from a lemon) on my face. After 30 minutes I wash it off with luke warm water and then I apply it again and let it on for the whole day. I wash it off again in the evening before I go to bed. at night I use Sudocrem on my face, which makes my face feel very soft and does seem to help with active acne. I'll post an update when I've used it for a longer period
