Best Natural Treatment + Lightener Ever!
I am always willing to try new natural products when it comes to my skin. Not only is it safer but I feel that it produces better results. As for lemon juice, it is my personal savior. Not only do I apply it on my skin, but I drink a cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice daily. You might think lemon is acidic, and it is - outside of the body. But, when you ingest it, it turns into alkaline which is extremely good for your body and helps fight diseases and illnesses like acne. Lemon juice WORKS because it is a disinfectant and destroys any acne bacteria that contributes to developing acne. It also removes dead skin cells because it is highly acidic and therefore exfoliates the skin. Eventually skin will be smoother and scars will start to diminish and fade. However, even though Lemon Juice is a great acne treatment it should be used with caution! Always dilute it, as it's pure form can have a harsh effect on the skin. Since it is so acidic, it can open the pimple right up and result in bleeding and can sting quite badly. Diluting it half and half with either apple cider vinegar, witch hazel or tea tree oil, can help alleviate the sting and any other symptoms that it may bring. I mix mine with witch hazel and use it as soon as i get up in the morning and before I go to bed. I apply it on just my acne-prone areas (My t-zone) and leave it on. I let it dry for about 5 minutes and I then apply tea tree oil and let dry as well. After all is said and done, I apply Organic virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer. Also be sure to drink a cup of fresh lemon juice daily squeezed from one lemon. It is a great detox drink and does wonders for the body.

I seen immediat results
The first thing you want to do is wash your face with warm water. I sliced a lemon thin squeeze the juice in a container. Use a cotton swab and put the juice all over my face. For the first 5-10 it WILL BURN but that means it's working. I kept it on for an hour and the results were amazing this will be something I do on a daily basis

Extremely effective when used properly!

Pros:

Fades marks pretty fast when used consistently, I wouldn't use this treatment every night as your skin is going to need a break, but I recommend leaving it on overnight 2-3 times a week. Just make sure to follow with a good moisturizer. (Again, olive oil guys, freaking miracles.)
Cheap and easy to find in the fridge when you're a broke teenager! One lemon should last you a pretty long time too, at least 2-3 weeks. If you are using it faster than that you are using way too much. Make sure your preserve your lemons and wrap em up!
Everything is natural! There's something about using natural products to help better my skin that makes me so happy! You don't have to worry about weird chemicals and questionable ingredients.

Cons:

Skin will become more sensitive to sun. MAKE SURE to wear sunscreen, though you should be wearing sunscreen everyday if you have red marks anyways! I recommend finding either a moisturizer or makeup you like with SPF, but most importantly using a sunscreen that is ultra sheer. This means no oily sunscreen skin! Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen in 40 is what I use and it's fabulous.
Skin irritation during use. This is completely normal and to be expected, but if it becomes unbearable wash it off and try using an even smaller amount next time. If it continues try taking a very very small amount of olive oil and mixing lemon into it, then dabbing it onto your marks. This shouldn't dry/irritate your skin.
This will irritate active pimples/cysts! This is why the Q-tip is so helpful, make sure to avoid putting lemon on anything active as you will piss it off!

This is where the saying a little goes a long way comes into play. Lemon juice has been the most beneficial method I've tried by FAR with my acne scarring, but you must use it with care. You do not need the whole or even half of the lemon for this routine! When I first started using lemon 2 years ago I made a big mistake by slapping too much of it on. This is extremely strong stuff, so we are only using a very small amount per use. Here's how I do it. You will need: A lemon Saran wrap (for storing the lemon) A Q-tip Take your lemon and cut it in half. Now, take your Q-tip and just dip it into on of the lemons ridges. Don't be shy to get the end of the Q-tip fairly coated, this is where you can be generous with the amount of lemon you use. Now you can just dab the lemon onto all of your problem areas with ease. The problem people make is they cover their whole face with lemon, when that's completely unnecessary. Not only are you going to be drying out your entire face, you are bleaching the whole thing too making the process of lightening your scars slower. You must also be sure that the marks you are treating are not ACTIVE. Active acne is not something you wanna put lemon on, at least from my experience. You should only be putting the lemon on the marks that are completely healed. Tips: I find exfoliating before doing this to be helpful. Burning is to be expected, though the burning should be reduced since you are only applying it with the Q-tip. The duration of time you leave this treatment on is up to you, personally I go to sleep with it on and find that works very well. I use olive oil for any dry skin after this treatment, and it works wonders. It does not break me out in the slightest. It's also important to note that I have very sensitive skin, and this routine does not cause redness nor break me out! Irritation during the lemon is normal if you are just starting to use it, but redness in your face will not last after you wash it off. My marks are about 60% gone after 2 months of using it about three times a week. Obviously this isn't going to be an absolute miracle worker but I'm very pleased with the results and as we all know it's a long and emotional journey to having clear skin! Good luck everyone!

Miracle Cure.

Pros:

Got rid of my acne completly!
Redness began fading within days!
Cheap!

I have been on Accutane which cleared me completely, but then after they came back I tried everything (like before) to no avail. Although, during the summer, 2 weeks before sixth form, with a face full of red acne, I started to use lemon as often as I could (usually all day - apart from if I was going out). 2 weeks later, when I went back to school I was acne free. I still use it now and completely love it! I also drink water and lemon as often as I can. Also, if you buy a lemon and only use a slice a day, it'll last ages! Try it, but give it a little time!

amazing

Pros:

natural, cheap
fades scars fast
give you more radiant complexion

Cons:

may have made me broke out a little when using pure lemon juice

By far the best natural scar treatment, after years of using BP, retin a, and a ton of other harsh chemicals my complexion looked dead and worn out...and I still had acne and a few deep scars. after researching some natural products to fade scars I came across lemons. After a few DAYS there was a noticeable improvement in my scars and my honey complexion, my face seemed to glow. I have sensitive skin so using pure lemon juice without diluting it with water may have made me break out just a little. But I will continue to use if I ever wanted to boost my complexion or fade some dark spots fast, just will dilute with more water.

- acne scars demolished
-blackheads gone
-helps clear breakouts
-makes skin glow

Cons:

-skin gets a little red, cause its like a peel.
-skin gets a little itchy right after you apply.

I had severe acne since I was 12 I'm 15 now and in high school.. I have tried everything... I eventually had to go on birth control to control it and it seem to help my acne dramatically. But the down side was when my acne cleared I was left with scars on my cheeks and acne marks on my cheeks. I was desperate to find a cure. I tried all of the over the counter products to cocoa but oil.... Then I heard about lemon juice... I tried it out and it helped EVERYTHING.. From blackheads, to pimples, to scars, to acne marks... I swear u need to try this!!!!!
