Pros:

Fades red marks
Gets rid of pimples
Overall massive improvemenet in face

Cons:

Stings the first couple times
Can irritate skin
Makes you really pale

What I did was I squeezed a quarter lemon right onto my face then used a cotton pad to make sure my whole face was covered in the lemon juice. I did this in the morning and at night after washing my face. Within 3 days almost all of my red marks and pimples had vanished. However, I stopped this because it had made me way too pale and within a week my acne had come back just as bad. Then i immediately began using the lemon juice again and once again my acne cleared up. This is truly no coincidence, it really works. Except the second time it took closer to a week rather than 3 days. If yoou have open cuts or popped pimples this will sting a lot but you will find that this cleans out the pore, keeps the pimple from coming back and allows it to heal faster since it contains plenty of vitamin C. Do not use right before going out into the sun as this will irritate the skin, make it really red and dry your skin out badly. Also, try not to get carried away with it. It can be tempting to use this more than twice a day but your skin may not be able to handle this and it will make things worse.

Didn't do anything for pimples

Pros:

-cleans out your pores
-gets ride of blackheads
-shrinks pimple or other blemishes
-eveuntally gets ride of shrunken (shrinkened?) pimples

Cons:

stings a little bit, kinda makes your face itchy for about 2 minutes, but once the 2 minutes are up, the irritation stops (plus i have sensitive skin)

it has almost cleared everything up apart from a few pimples near my hairline. i have only be using lemon juice for a week and the results have been amazing. the stinging is manageable, and definatley worth it. i have tried many things, and this one has worked the best :)

Pros:

Gets rid of red-ness, dark spot and makes pimples smaller.
Evens out your skin tone like dark patches.
Fast results.

Cons:

Stings for about 30 sec but THAT bad..

You have to try this! i bought sooo many products that my mom even went crazy, anyway i never knew that if you just use a oil-free cleanser and lemons it will go in atleast a month! If it stings too much just add a little water to it, leave it overnight it gets much softer and clearer trust me! Oh, use it with a tissue or cotton ball. GOOD LUCK.

Pros:

- Cheap,
- Easy to use,
- IT WORKS,
- Fades scars,
- Helps you treat your pimples quickly.

Cons:

- Stings a little
- Can be itchy sometimes

To be honest I used to have horrible big pimples on my face and used to pop them as well which sounds unpleasant I know. Then I decided to try out some of the acne products that had benzoyl peroxide(BP), i used panoxyl treatment cream with 10% BP and face wash with 10% BP.. they worked for like a month then my acne just got worse as soon i stopped using it. So I looked for home remedies that had no side effects and after researching for couple of hours i saw that loads of people were recommending to drink lemon juice or apply it on the face. I've been using it now for about a month and half and must say the result is just spectacular. my skin was alot bumpy but now its almost not bumpy at all. I'm very impressed with this home remedy. Its not a 24 hour solution if you have big pimples its all about just being patient. I'll continue to use this for couple of months and hopefully my skin will be fully clear. I'll write a review again in couple of months time :) Conclusion/Bottom Line: Who needs all the acne treatment crap when you have lemons! :)

Pros:

Cheap, tightens pores, great because I have oily skin and blackheads to match - keeps these under control.

Biodegradable =D

Great when mixed with honey, as this leaves your skin softer, and smells yummy.

Cons:

Can dry your skin. I use every day because I have a very oily complexion and it only seems to dry it a little.

If you've any cuts or scabs it makes them sting.

Great if you're worried about the longterm effects of chemicals.

Pros:

WORKS!
takes seconds to apply
Noticed results in 2-3 days
Fades red marks

Cons:

Stings a tiny bit for a minute or two, worth it though.

I have used Duac, Zineryt, Epiduo and a bunch of over the counter topicals, any honestly this is working better than everything i have tried so far, my skin is actually clearing very fast using this and i havent woken up with any new breakouts for nearly a week.

Pros:

-tightens pores
-gets rid of small pimples
-gets rid of acne
-lightens scars
-doesn't dry out skin
-it's completely natural

Cons:

-may sting a bit afterwards
-may itch (it itches me)
-face feels a bit odd when it's on

I started using lemon juice after reading about it on here. I would cleanse with my cetaphil cleanser, put some lemon juice from the bottle in the fridge on a cotton ball and sweep it over my face. I don't rinse or dilute it or anything. After about 5 minutes I put on aloe vera gel mixed with a bit of my Dove night cream. Together, it's a great mixture. I think I'm going to start drinking it too. Enjoy yout beautiful skin. (:

Pros:

makes skin super soft
dries up acne
evens complexion

Cons:

might sting a little at first, but wasn't really a problem for me

Each night night i use a basic cleanser like cetaphil and then apply frozen lemon slices to my skin.(the cold stops swelling and closes u pores) I leave it on overnight and use a liquid makeup in the day so that my skin doesn't get to dried out. I have had incredible results!!! My skin looks so much better.
