Fades scars
Kills bacteria

Cons:

Might irritate skin if you don't dilute it with water

I wish I could keep up with doing this every other day. It's a great cheap and natural way to even your skin tone

Pros:

Inexpensive
Smells fantastic
Easy to make/use
Results the very next day/morning
Great for cleansing AND exfoliating

Cons:

May sting a little(didn't for me)

So basically, this is it for me. Every cleanser(non-natural) that I have used had screwed my skin up in some way, wether it be drying it out or making my skin raw. I have very sensitive skin so it was difficult for me to find a drugstore product/"high-end" product that was gentle. I'm never going back! This is what I've used and in order: 1. Freshly squeezed lemon wedge onto a round cotton pad 2. Dampened face with lukewarm water 3. Applied some raw organic sugar to my face(a tablespoon spread all over) 4. Scrub everywhere especially around hairline and around nostrils to kill bacteria 5. Rinse with water, wait 10 mins 6. Apply organic honey to my face(easiest when done in the shower but I just tie a bag around my neck HAHA) 7. Leave honey on for about 30 mins I moisturized with a light moisturizer after the honey masque and before I went to bed, applied my crushed aspirin mush. Honey, 1 small aspirin and a tiny bit of water. Just as a spot treatment. I also put another thin layer of honey on before I go to bed and rinse in the morning. This can get messy so if you roll around alot this probably wont be a good idea. Unless you can make a consious effort to sleep on your back like I do. I guess you could put a garbage bag on your pillow... The results are amazing, the redness goes down so fast and the honey is bringing all my underlying pimples out so flippin' quickly!! Give it a shot, it's cheap and it won't damage your skin long term. Hope this helps you like it did me.

Pros:

Clears up acne
Gets rid of acne scars
Gives you an even skin tone
Cheap
Smells lovely

Cons:

Stings slightly
Pulp!

Everyone should give this a go! Yes it stings slightly but not for long. I've heard that it dries the skin but that's easily fixed with moisturiser. You'll have to apply it several times a day and leave it on over night. It's cheaper than peroxide cream and not as harmful. It really is the best acne cure.

Pros:

- It smells nice
- it dries on your face and doesnt like fall of off it like honey
- leaves a glow to your face when you wash it off
- clears pores chemically
- dries up acne
- fades scars and spots
- sometimes gets rid of a forming pimple
- For me it works good with BP

Cons:

- It hurts if you get it in your eye LOL
- It might sting but it did not sting or itch on my skin

My regimen is basically Dan's regimen with a twist to it. AM~ * wash face with Cetaphil gentle cleanser * pat dry * apply Cetaphil mousturizer on face AROUND 2 HOURS AFTER- * since the mousturizer is absorbed, I put on lemon juice ALL over my face and it does not sting or anything but thats just my skin PM~ * Wash lemon juice off face with Cetaphil gentle cleanser * Gently pat dry * Apply BP And then I exfoliate with St.Ives Apricot scrub with 2% Salicylic acid from the Naturally Clear line about twice or thrice a week. Since its summer, I found that my skin was getting oilier and therefore breaking out. I heard about the lemon juice and eggs so one day, I put egg whites on my face and then washed it off, then egg yolk, then lemon juice. I washed it off and my face looked cleaner so I decided to put lemon juice on my skin everyday and my scars and spots are fading. It also seems to help with the oily skin too. Also, since I just went on vacation I couldnt take lemons with me, so I just used my BP and cetaphil. I broke out when I stopped using it! Not that bad but it was like 2 pimples and they were swelling, so I just put BP on them hoping that they would go away cause I had no lemons. The next morning I saw like a little thing sticking out of each pimple that kinda looked like when you put BP on your blackheads and the blackhead stuff comes out. So I gently squeexed each pimple and gently rolled my finger across and 2 little things came out. 2 hours later, the pimples were gone!!! So i defineatly think that BP and lemon juice work well together to get rid of acne. But warning, Dont put lemon juice and BP together since they are both chemicals and I am unsure of how they will react together! So yeah, I DEFINETLY reccomend this cause its getting rid of acne and scars. It seems to clean up the acne I get more in summer cause my skin gets oilier. I just hope

Pros:

Smooth/Soft Skin
Glowing Skin
Heals Blemishes
Lightens Scars (slowly)
*Use with Honey

Cons:

Makes a mess in the bathroom
Must use consistently (EVERY NIGHT) to see results

Cut the lemon, add a drop of honey, and rub it directly on your clean face in a circular motion. Leave on as long as possible. Honey helps lessen the stinging, and I think it works better this way. I have severe cystic acne, and this has taken the "topical" stuff away. This was the only treatment my skin had responded well to since antibiotics (which I refused to keep taking). I was still getting some cysts, but my skin had not felt this smooth in seven years. I won't say it's a cure, but I have been on "The Whole 30" for 13 days now, which seems to be curing the cystic stuff. I've found changing my diet to be the best choice I've made in curing my acne. I will continue to use this mask and hope it lightens the scars, which are now my biggest problem. (It has lightened them some, but it's a slow process). My routine, if you're curious: -Eat a Whole 30 diet -Wash my face gently with warm water, a wash cloth, and organic soap nightly(something natural with the fewest ingredients possible) -lemon&honey mask nightly -moisturize with pure aloe vera (from the plant) daily

Pros:

- Exfoliates your skin
- Reduces a lot my acne scars
- Helps a lot with blemishes and acne
- You need to figure out what kind of lemon is the best for you (the regular one or the green one)

Cons:

- Stings a little bit

I finally found my remedy! Yay! I had severe acne with cystic acne covering my whole cheeks. My dermatologist helped me so much with prescriptions (a gentle cleanser cream from Avene, a topical cream Epiduo Gel and antibiotics). My acne has reduced, but i was still having some cystic pimples. But my skin was sooo oily, and the reason was the topical cream. Noow, in the morning, i wash my face with just WATER (about 15 times), then moisturize. In the evening, i use a micelle solution for babies (Bioderma H2o) with a cotton pad, until it is clear (just 2 cottons pad , and about 8 when i'm wearing foundation) theeen another cotton pad with the milky liquid from oatmeal (i mix water and oatmeal, then i "press" oatmeal and then you have a sort of milk). The benefits of oatmeal for our skin are amazing. After that, i rinse my face with water only (about 15 times). I moisturize, wait about 2 hours and apply LIME (the green one, not the yellow one). My skin is now 95% clear, and my scars are fading :)

Pros:

reduces hyperpigmentation
shrinks pores
gets rid of new pimples
cheap and natural

Cons:

made my face red
made my skin sensitive to the sun

I have been applying lime juice (I am in Colombia and cant find lemons) to my face for 3 days and the red spots on my cheek have improved significantly. My face has gotten really sensitive to sunlight though, so I would recommend using the juice at night. I put the juice of a quarter of a lime on my face, wait 15 minutes, and then rinse it off. Then I use cetaphil cleanser, acne.org bp, and cetaphil lotion. My pores are also smaller now.

Pros:

Cures acne
Lightens and removes scars
Smells nice

Cons:

Does not stop outbreaks
May "burn" a little, if not diluted

I've fought with mild to moderate acne for years now. But thanks to this natural remedy my acne is almost completely gone. My skin is smooth to the touch and only some very light blemishes is all what's left. Here you can look at my progress: [link removed] used a special procedure, though, which is a bit too detailed and too long for this review, so if you want to know everything, feel free to email me: john.brandon55@[link removed]
