Pros:

I use manuka honey; I read about it in a magazine and checked it out online and I think it works great. It costs a little more than regular store-bought honey but think it's worth it.

Cons:

Gets kinda runny on the skin during the summertime because of the heat, but I deal with it just fine :)

TRY IT!!!

Pros:

It makes your skin glow.

Cons:

It is stickly but it's good

you really need something to work quickly and efficently then try putting honey on your face and leave for about 30-45 mins. You'll be amazed to see what it does for you.

Pros:

It works, natural, cheap

Cons:

Haven't seen any

I have had acne for over 20 years, with no relief, and it got worse due to a thyroid problem I have. I used the honey mask last night, left in on for about two hours, and the next morning all of the small acne bumps on my face were gone. I mean this is just one day, I can't wait to see what happens with continued use. I am so excited, my skin is smooth. I used 3 teaspoons of raw honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of nutmeg, I had some left over but will use that tonight.

Pros:

Smells awesome
moisture!
cheap and leaves skin feeling smooth soft, makes bad acne shrink much quicker than anything else i've used so far

Cons:

messy and a little time consuming

I usually start by washing my face with a goat milk based soap, cuz it helps with scars and it's nice to my skin, then i exfoliate with something like St. Ive's peach face wash, that takes away any dead skin from past acne scars and helps them fade fast too. Then I boil some water, sit with a towel over my head in the steam for a bit to open my pores nice and big and then I spread a tablespoon of honey, olive oil (extra virgin) and an egg yoke on my face and leave it... usually as long as I can (im short on time usually) Doesn't take much longer than half an hour I don't think, to do all this carefully the first time. But it helps a lot and smells awesome.

I LOVE honey! It works like a charm to help clear up redness and whiteheads. I wouldn't say that it prevents break-outs, but yes, for me it treats acne. It also gets my skin smooth.

Pros:

Smells sweet

Cons:

Other than it's sticky, nothing.

I just used honey for the first time today and I looked in the mirror to find that my acne isn't as red as it was earlier in the day and that my skin is softer and smoother!

Pros:

It made my skin soft and may have worked if I didnt have it on too long

Cons:

IT GAVE ME A FACE RASH! Tiny-Tiny bumps all over my face :(

It may be my fault because I left it on for over an hour, yet I read that some people sleep with honey on their face so I thought it was okay. I got a rash the next day all over my face :( some of the tiny bumps have pus too. Im sad and will NEVER put honey on my face again.
