Pros:

Reduce redness
Makes skin feel soft

Cons:

a little messy

I use this for my face and loved it, loved it so much I take honey baths now. It takes a whole jar but trust me its worth it. I simply spread all of the honey all over my body and let it set for about 10 mins. Then I start to pour cold water to start to remove the honey. It takes about a hour to remove it all but its so worth it. After that my skin is smooth and radiant. Give it a try but stay safe.

Pros:

Fades scars
Natural!

Cons:

Drips

I have tried EVERYTHING for my acne. The only thing that worked was antibiotics, but even that stopped working for me. I tried not eating gluten, because my sister went off gluten and it cured her severe acne. It wasn't really working for me though. I heard about this chiropractic guy who also tests and cures allergies. I went to see him about two weeks ago and he found that I was allergic to sugar, hormones, bacteria that is on people's face, and stress. HE CURED ME OF THESE THINGS. I know this sounds nuts. But please tell me if you haven't begun to wonder if acne is actually an internal thing, rather than the cleansers we use. My skin is clearing up! I am getting less new pimples. I seriously encourage you to find an allergy doctor. I know this is about honey, but I had to put that in because I am so excited about being cured. So like I said, I have active acne (not as much since I saw the allergy guy, and I predict it will get even better as in the next week) but I mostly really want to fade my terrible hyper-pigmentation before I go to Hawaii in 3 months. It's all around my mouth and I don't want to worry about make-up coming off when I go swimming. I started using Honey and Turmeric as a face mask and left it on for about 20 minutes each night. Turmeric helps to whiten the skin that is damaged. It's hard to see a difference when you look at yourself every day in the mirror wondering if it has faded. I decided to leave it on for an HOUR each night (and morning if I have time.) I really do think that it is fading my stupid hyperpigmentation! I'll write back in a month or two to let you know how fast it worked.

Pros:

inexpensive, heals acne scars, doesnt make skin red, tastes good C;

Cons:

sticky, my hairs always stuck to my face... =w= skin kinda itches

i read a newspaper article that said honey can heal your acne (it made it sound like god, lol ) and i thought, its organic, so i shall try it x3 so, after washing my face lightly, i applied a bit of honey to those red spots and bumps, and went to sleep. the next day i woke up, and my face, well, how should i explain this?.... i could tell there was a difference, that yes, it looked better, but it wasnt too big of a difference... but i could tell my face looked less red, and the blemishes all died down a bit so i think i just need to use it longer, after all, ive only tried it for 3 days :] oh, and i dunno about oatmeal, i just use honey XD

Pros:

instant results with smoother skin also softens fine lines
Its natural and wont age your skin like BP does.
Doesnt cause any more breakouts like so many other products.

Cons:

Manuka Honey is expensive
Its sticky and it can get in your hair without using a shower cap.

I have only used this with Manuka Honey after having read about how wonderful this honey is. I have now realised that the products and harsh chemicals I keep using to control my acne is clearly making it worse as it irritates my skin. Its taken me a long time to finally realise this but with the use of all natural products my skin is FINALLY beginning to heal. I bought a pot of Manuka honey from sainsburys today (their own label as it was about 4 pounds cheaper) I applied it to my face and left it for one hour. When I washed it off a lot had been absorbed. My skin was fresher softer and not at all greasy and has felt lovely all evening. The few deep cysts had begun to raise to the surface and the active acne was much much less red and felt somehow 'cleaner' and less weepy. I think using this and apple cider vinegar (or Honeygar) once a week topically and drinking everyday will cure my acne for good.

Pros:

Worked wonderfully and i don't have almost any acne, only on my period. Plus it's very very very very cheap!!! Natural Honey tends to be a bit expensive

Cons:

a bit sticky. Natural Honey tends to be a bit expensive when it comes from a honey farm (which means people actually get the honey from honeycombs that are made by bees from their own houses).

If you really need something to work quickly then try putting honey and lemon juice on your acne at night. Leave on for 10 min. then rinse your face with warm water and then put some zapzyt on affected area and wake up in the morning and look at that masterpiece!!!!!!

Pros:

works within minutes.

Cons:

little drippy, but worth it.

put a little bit of honey in a bowl, heat it up for no more than 15 seconds (too hot if over 15). then spread over your face. works SO well. could be used for a quick moisture to the face, or over time can make face smoother. cheap and at-home way to improve skin.
