Great Mask.
Love the honey, nutmeg, cinnamon mask. Great for my aging skin (I'm creeping up on 51) & combined with my DIY baking soda mask (I also use this as my cleanser both morning & evening) has created a softer, smoother complexion. (For the baking soda mask/scrub, simply add together baking soda & water to make a paste. Scrub gently then rinse. It is really that simple! Just be sure to use baking soda not baking powder) For those of you with ultra sensitive skin beware of adding lemon to the mix. Lemon is obviously acidic & can potentially cause redness or other undesired results. I have also decided to cut out using cleansing wipes as this adds unwanted and un-needed chemicals to my face. I traditional use a fair amount of makeup daily and have heard grape seed oil is a good alternative so I will try this next. Also Witch hazel is excellent to use as a toner and isn't too drying to the skin.

Great stuff!

Pros:

makes skin soft without becoming too oily
smells good, tastes good, makes redness go away
helps dark spots and damaged skin from acne products

Cons:

sticky, messy, can be hard to wash off
expensive

Now, I haven't used this for very long, only tried it once. From all the cleaning and picking away, my skin was rough and horrible. It felt damaged, it looked damaged. It was not cool. I wanted to try something natural that would help my skin glow and nourish it at the same time. I went to Whole Foods and bought some organic raw honey. I put it on my skin for about 5-10 minutes after exfoliating. The next day I didn't get any new breakouts and my red marks and scars from picking seemed to look a little less evil. I'm going to do it probably 2-3 times a week and hopefully see some improvement!

Great addition to a regular skincare routine.

Pros:

Reduces redness and helps prevent beakouts
Doesn't irritate, dry, or make skin oily
Tastes great in tea ;)

Cons:

Feel sticky and odd on the skin, but I like this because it stops me from touching my face!

I mix one part raw honey to one part lemon juice and leave it on ~30 minutes every day, in addition to my regular regimen (which combines natural and drugstore remedies and doesn't include a diet). The honey/lemon mixture improves redness, painful areas, and makes skin softer. It also fades scars over time. Acne-wise, it isn't a miracle cure, but after a few weeks it does seem to have reduced the number, severity, and length of my breakouts some. The consistency of honey makes it a little difficult to work with, but I find that thinning it out with a liquid--I chose lemon juice because it also reduces redness, and because the combo tastes great--makes it a lot easier to pour, apply, and wash off. I also washed out an old pump bottle of moisturizer and use it to store my honey/lemon mixture. This makes it WAY less messy. It also helps moderate the amount you put on your face--it doesn't dry out, so if you use too much it'll run right off your face, drip everywhere, and get in your eyes.

Pros:

-reduces scars!!
-reduces redness!
-tastes good lol :)
-skin is smooth
-skin is soft! :)

Cons:

messy if you sleep with it on your pillows!

Everyone! use honey! get the raw unpasteurized one! I bought one from my local farmer's market. I am a guy and i'm 17. i have finally cured my acne but i have lots of red marks left from it! Each time I use my honey mask the scars lessen and my skin is starting to look beautiful again!! hahaha. its like when i was little and looked in the mirror at that beautiful flawless skin! It's especially good with brown and red spots! These will fade overtime but the honey really speeds it up! it might also help some for their actual acne because honey has antibacterial properties but that will probably take a long time. i use it every day for one hour before bed. the longer you use it the more effective it is. i heard about someone who slept with it on and it was amazing for them! i just use it for my scars and it works wonderful! good luck to everyone curing their acne! :)

Pros:

-Clears up skin
-Nice smelling
-Makes skin soft

Cons:

-Sticky
-Messy

I use this almost everyday and it has really cleared up my skin and made it super soft. At first I was using processed 'honey' and it ended up drying out my skin and not clearing up much of anything. Then I started using natural honey which comes straight out of the beehive and immediatly I started seeing results. I would highly recommend this.

Pros:

Makes skin soft
Reduces redness and spot size

Cons:

Made me break out after a while
Sticky and messy

Things were going well when i first used honey for a couple of weeks, but then unfortunatly it gave me more spots. It did make my skin very soft though, everyone's different, so i would reccomend it, but not for everyday/long term use.

lightens scars

Cons:

nuttin...except a little messy & sticky =)

i use honey whenever i've popped a pimple (i know..bad) but when its bleeding or really red, i just dab some honey on it at night for about 2 days, and by that time, the redness/scab is almost completely gone!!! nature's miracle!! also works well with lemon juice...i'm going to try the honey all over, since i only used to use it for spot treatment. wish me luck...and pray! =)

Noticed clearer skin one day later!

My daughter and I both have been using honey on our face and we both have noticed a big difference in our skin. I wish I had known about honey when I was a teen.
