Pros:

-95% clear skin!!! :D I'm too stoked
-Acne scars are going away
-I can do other stuff while it's on
-No more oily skin
-Even skin tone
-I got some compliments on my skin. That almost never happens :]
-Tastes good. Haha
-Works in conjunction with Differin

Cons:

-Sticky
-If I don't use it overnight, every night I wake up to new papules
-"High-maintanence" see above

I love honey! Currently I'm using organize Clover honey. I'm going to bump up to organic, raw Manuka honey soon in hopes of getting 99.9% clear acne, scar free skin. I'll do a review on that after using it for a few months. How I use it: -I mix honey, a little sugar, and a little lemon juice -I wash my face with a gentle cleanser -Apply the mix and then apply strips of tissue or paper towel so it won't get all over the place while I sleep -Wake up in the morning, remove strips, and I wash it off and apply Differin and jojoba oil

Pros:

Fades scars. Brings pimples to head so they can heal faster(and they do). Natural, with no chemicals.

I actually use this as a cleanser, but they don't have a section for that on here. I do try to leave it on for at least 5 min. though. This does wonders for my skin. It has faded my scars so fast and brings down the redness. If I get a pimple the honey brings it to a head by the next day and it goes away completely within 2 or 3 days. If you tried this and it didn't do much for your skin it's probably because your not using very good honey. When I first started using honey I was using a raw honey, but I got it at Kroger's for like $4, and it did nothing for my skin. It didn't prevent pimples but it wasn't breaking me out either. So I went to Whole Foods to get honey that might actually be worth my money. I got Really Raw Honey and it was $10 for 1lb. It has the pollen, propolis, live enzymes, and honeycomb in it so it really does great things for my skin and pollen is great for your skin.

Pros:

gentle
smells good
easy
cheap

Cons:

did not get rid of the pimple

I used natural honey as a spot treatment. (put a little warm saltwater on the zit to dry it up then a dab of honey on it overnight) First of all...I'd tried to (stupidly, haha) pop it before because I saw some puss. Nothing came out, but I didn't want to wash my face with anything harsh, so I decided to try honey because I needed it gone fast. I heard this was supposed to be an overnight zit zapper. However, when I woke up the next morning, it was even redder and worse. BUT! Even though it didn't get rid of the zit, it brought the bacteria/oil/puss to the surface, so I barely had to touch it to get all of that nasty stuff out. Bottom line, it was a great, natural way to bring everything to the top, but it didn't quite cure it.

Pros:

It's a miracle!!

Cons:

Sticky

I had pretty moderate acne covering my cheeks and chin. I discovered acne and honey exactly two weeks ago and today I only have one or two small pimples left on my entire face. I look like I did five years ago, before acne overtook my face!! I have discovered you HAVE to use raw, organic honey. THe stuff in the honey bear at the supermarket does not work. I got a large jar at my local farmer's market of raw, organic honey with the comb in the jar for around 8 dollars. I mix a few teaspoons of honey with a few teaspoons of regular cinnamon powder from the supermarket and massage it onto my face and leave for as long as possible, usually a few hours. This stuff is a miracle! It has done what Proactive, antibiotics and hundreds of dollars worth of over the counter acne medicine could not do!

Just no
Why have we all resulted in putting honey on our faces? Seriously, its sticky, itchy and irritating. After hiding in ours bedrooms for 20 minuites, trying to disguise the fact that you are putting honey on your face from your reletives, you will finally wash it off and find yourself with more depressing red bumps that you began with. You wouldn't put golden syrup on your face so why smother it with honey?

try it
I have a bunch of little white bumps on my face that you can see when I turn my head towards the light and they're horrible. I think they're whiteheads. Anyway so I put some honey on my face andleave it on for half an hour, then massage it off with water and you can feel the particles in yourfingers! My whiteheads are basically gone and its been 3 days. I also use nutmeg and honey on acne scars.

Pros:

-Got rid of my acne
-Decreased my scar appearance
-Skin is super soft
-Natural Glow
-Smells good

Cons:

-Sticky

I've tried every chemical treatment on the planet and nothing every worked for me, until I made this honey mask. I found a recipe for honey, cinnamon, eggnog, and lemon juice. This combination on my skin has worked a miracle. My acne is now nonexistent and my deep scars are getting smaller and smaller by the minute. I leave the mask on for 20 minutes every other night. Now that my acne is gone I'm going to cut that down and add more natural remedies to my skin care regime.

Pros:

Feels and smells great on skin
Reduces hyper pigmentation and fades old acne scars
Gets rid of white and black heads without over drying
Leaves skin silky soft and glowing
Inexpensive

Cons:

A lil messy with the application

For about 12 years I have suffered from acne... Or I thought I did. I have very fair sensitive skin. During my teenage years, I suffered from hormonal acne (didn't a lot of us?), and for many reasons grew incredibly insecure about my appearance to the point of obsessively fussing with my face in hopes I would stumble upon "The Miracle Cure." For years, I spent hundreds of dollars on trying to "cure" my defect, tried covering up my acne and scars with make-up, and obsessively kept trying different products (Benzac, Proactive, Accutane, you name it, I probably gave it a shot) out of sheer desperation up to the point where my skin was incredibly irritated and covered with hives and rashes ( I thought it was acne for so long). A few weeks ago, my face took a serious turn for the worst. A face covered in a rash that hurt after ANOTHER failed attempt at gaining control over my acne... A drastic change needed to be made. "I NEED to be gentle to my skin," I thought. So, after 12 years of dousing my face with chemicals and covering the blemishes with makeup which only made my skin worse, I decided to throw all of those products away. After doing some investigating on the internet...I purchased a vegetable oil based soap bar and a jar of quality, organic, raw honey. I rinse my face with luke warm water, and while my face still damp, apply the raw honey all over my face. I let it sit for about ten minutes, rinse it off and go to bed. The next morning after washing my face with the vegetable oil soap bar, I looked in the mirror and noticed a sincere change in the tone of my skin. It looked brighter, my face didn't look as irritated and red. I have been following this routine for the past 5 days, and every day I notice a positive change in the appearance and texture of my skin. It's natural, there are active enzymes, vitamins, and minerals that are so gentle and kind to fair and sensitive faces. The rash is 75% gone, redness gone, old marks fad

Pros:

Cleared up my skin!
Softens skin
moisturizes
tastes great!

Cons:

Sticky, but that's not a big deal for how great it works.

I highly recommend it. It needs to be pure, unpasteurized honey. My local health food store has honey that is processed but only heated to 110 degrees, been using it for weeks and my skin is acne free! Regular store bought doesn't work well, it might help moisturize your skin but you aren't going to get the skin clearing benefits from it. (I don't know what kind the people with negative reviews used but I'm going to guess it wasn't the good stuff)

Pros:

reduces pimples and lightens scarring

Cons:

I put on a honey mask everyday for approximately and hour. I used to get small pimples and blackheads. Now, i wash my face with dove Sensitive soap and the honey mask .. my skin is clear. I only get a pimple when it is that time of the month. The honey mask is the best thing! I spent money on Clinique, Proactive, Neutrogena .. etc, went to the dermatologist and all it took was honey for $2.69!!
