Pros:

Brightens and softens skin
Super cheap
Evens out skin tone
Removes redness

Cons:

Sticky and messy

I love using a honey mask a few times a week with the regimen. This week in particular my face was really broken out due to accidentally buying the wrong facial cleanser. (Seriously Cetaphil... all of your products have nearly identical labels!!). I had a quite a few huge, red pimples. I started using the honey mask every night before washing my face and my skin has started clearing up almost immediately. I mix honey with some (bottled) lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar (for exfoliation). My skin always looks so much brighter after using the mask. It also removes the redness and evens out skin tone. It's also super cheap!! A lot of people say that you MUST use expensive organic honey, but I have used "all natural honey" from the grocery store and have loved the results. My skin is so much softer (even the boyfriend has noticed!) The only downside is that it can be pretty messy, especially if you get it in your hair. I leave it on for five minutes or so (longer if I feel like it), then I rinse it off and follow the regimen as normal.

Pros:

* Actually works pretty well
* Evens out skin tone

Cons:

* Feels a bit sticky on your face (may or may not bother you)
* Runs just a bit

I've been using a honey mask (honey and a bit of cinnamon) for about 5 days now. I leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. After about the second or third day, I started noticing results. And slowly, my acne is starting to go away. I think my scars are fading a bit as well. I highly recommend trying this! Tip: Melting the honey destroys its healing properties. I usually use this mask after getting out of the shower, when my pores are opened and my skin has been in the hot water. Then you can just use the honey at room temperature.

Pros:

Evens out skin tone
Smells/tastes great
Glowing complexion

Cons:

Sticky/messy

I've been using honey as a mask for a couple days now and could not be happier with the results! At first, I just put the honey straight out of the bottle all over my face. I did this overnight and it made my skin tone even out tremendously the next day. I also tried a mix of 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp olive oil, and 1 egg yoke (found this from another review) and this also works wonders. Not only is the mask easy to apply, but it doesn't run and it dries pretty quickly. You can wear either of these masks for 15 minutes or the entire day/overnight (which ever you have the time for or are comfortable with). I've found that including honey in my facial regiment has completely helped my skin!

Fantastic
I've been washing my face with honey every night for about 5 weeks now and it has really helped! It has really helped moisturize my face and make my skin so smooth and soft. I will say though, it took about 3 weeks before I started to see results. I won't say this cured my acne, but it really did clear it up! I do still get small pimples popping up once and awhile, but they are small and are usually gone again within a day. I use this every night, and then apply a homemade toner made up of tea tree oil and raw apple cider vinegar. If you decide to try this treatment, please give it at least 5 weeks trial. Nothing will really work within a week. I'm so glad that I stuck to this system, it has really worked for me!

Pros:

All Natural
Anti-Bacterial
Packed with nutrients & goodness
Moisturizes
Doesn't dry out the skin & leave it feeling ''tight'' after rinsing
Heals hyperpigmentation

Cons:

Nada

I'm using honey as a cleanser (yet to try it as a mask but will do so very soon) & it is just amazing. So pure and good. Smells and feels divine on the skin. Goes on smoothe and mixes well with water, no stickiness, no mess if you're careful & gentle (which is how your skin should be treated at all times). Make sure to use raw organic honey, usually creamy/white in colour. Can't understand why anyone would go back to a commercial, store bought cleanser after using this! You're doing your skin a world of goodness by using natural, medicinal products, literally feeding your skin. Ancient civilizations didn't label it ''Nectar of the Gods'' for nothing.

Pros:

Moisturizes
Evens out skin tone
Helps with breakouts
Fades my scarring

Cons:

NON!
Sticky
Wouldn't sleep with it on

I absolutely LOVE the benefits honey has given to my face. I've been using it for the past 5 days and I notice a difference in my skin! It makes my skin feel so much better and more beautiful. I have sensitive skin, and just by cleaning my face with just water and using diluted tea tree oil to wipe off the residue and then I use local raw honey and leave it on until I go to bed ( I slept with it on over night and used a towel over my pillowcase but I just don't like having to be cautious about getting honey on my bedding) and toning my face with diluted ACV my skin looks and feels so much better just after a few days. NATURAL is definitely the way to go for getting beautiful skin. Got a little off track, but really I LOVE HONEY ! Its amazing ;)

Pros:

It smells delicious, I see immediate results, it reduces my spots, it is easy to apply, edible, makes my skin feel beautiful, makes my skin glow and smooth, its something I will use much more in future, reduces redness of the pimple/s, easy to find and buy, can be mixed with other benefiting ingredients for the skin

Cons:

can get messy when applying & so far i haven't seen any blackheads lift yet from my nose but we'll see when I try mixing sugar in the honey to make a honey scrub.

I did extensive research into the benefits for the skin using honey for pimples and I'am very grateful to come across this remedy. I make my own honey mask and buy the PURE honey. I drink plenty of green tea and mix the contents of the left over green tea bag into the honey too. Since I don't have a microwave , I add some hot water or left over green tea into the mixture to make it thinner and if I have it, a little bit of lemon juice. I mix it and apply to all over my face. I use to suffer from severe acne as of 13 years old and I am now 17 and my acne has definitely toned down but I still get single pimples over my forehead and chin and blackheads all over my nose. Ive found this is helping so far together with my normal skin care routine and my skin just glows! I leave the mask on for around 30 minutes then simply rinse off and pat dry. Give it a go! I'm finding its benefiting me a lot so far. I just cant wait to see if it helps reduce my bad scarring on my forehead. xxx

Pros:

- instantly soothes irritated skin.
- (tastes and smells amazing!!)
- Evens out skin tone and helps scarring.
- Softens your face and is great with sensitive skin!
- Leaves your skin looking healthier and happier. ^-^

Cons:

- The sticky-ness of the honey is a small price to pay when you get such results.(:

I've been using epiduo for my acne, and true to the side effects, my face began to dry out and become terribly irritated. Last night, the irritation and peeling was at its worst, and i couldnt fall asleep because i was in so much agony. I took to the internet so i could find a remedy to soothe my skin, and i'm SO GLAD i found this page. After reading all the reviews, i tried the honey mask... and i have never been so relieved in my entire life. I used pure honey, and the irritation and swelling went down almost immediately. i could almost see my scars going away as i rubbed the honey on! It's 6:00 a.m. right now, and i wish i found this site sooner! I was a bit hesitant to use honey due to my long list of food allergies and annoyingly sensitive skin, but Honey is my new best friend. I recommend this to everyone, and i will continue using this 'mask' with hope that my face will continue to heal and improve! I don't think i will have anymore all nighters' due to angry skin ever again.<3 :3 Thanks Honey!
