Pros:

Honey really made my usually red skin become an even tone with the rest of my skin.
Seems to have made my acne/pimples smaller, and I've had these pimples for a long time and used store bought products but they never even shrunk my pimples a bit

Cons:

Really messy/sticky,sometimes there are remainders of the stickness on my skin or clothes so i have to shower often, droopy, hasn't gotten ridden of all my pimples, oiliness and doesnt tighten my skin, doesnt leave my skin soft(maybe cuz it already is

Pretty good compared to some other stuff i used, works really well to make acne less visible which is sometimes all i care about! and it smells very sweet, sometimes i can't stop myself from eating some of the honey before applying it on my skin, hehe. I think that its something that gives really quick results instead of having to wait for like weeks and weeks, which is also a benefit because i can use it for when i have to get rid of it really quickly for a date or picture day or something like that. Again, its REALLY sweet!! I love the smell and its also cheap as well. So far, it gives the best results but i'm really considering trying the egg mask since people say that it tightens the skin. But really, ignore what i've writen in the cons becuase i've only used it for a couple of days so i wouldnt know the results of a full time user!

Pros:

Definatley noticed a change in my complexion for the better. It's still to early to tell, as this is only the third day I am on, but it kind of seems like my pimples have shrunk, and the redness is somewhat gone. I can agree that it is working.

Cons:

-VERY MESSY
-Takes time to apply, but it's worth it

-It seems to work, and its only the third day, and I have noticed some differences in my complexion.

Raw Honey + Tea Tree Oil: Tips?
Hi, I've been looking recently into raw honey acne treatments and decided to buy a bottle of Nature Nate's Raw Honey (the American bees one), and was going to use it with tea tree oil from artnaturals. Is there anything I should know before I do this, and has anyone had any success with this kind of treatment? I don't suffer from severe breakouts - my acne is pretty consistent. I don't wear makeup and I've only ever tried Proactiv before but it made my face worse after I stopped using it. My face is kind of dry except for the "T-section" of my forehead and nose where it's a lot more oily. I mostly just have whiteheads and blackheads everywhere from my forehead to underneath my chin. Tips?

Pros:

Reduces size and redness, great improvement in only a few minutes of it being on here.

Cons:

sticky, but thats unavoidable. it also drips quite a bit.

this product works very well. the way i do it is dip a q-tip in the honey (which i used native texas honey) and then apply it to the spot. cottonballs work as well.

Pros:

Worked great the first few times, ran out of dark honey and got some lighter stuff which doesn't work as well

Cons:

Sticky pillow, doesn't work with all honey

Try it, it can't hurt

Pros:

made skin soft

Cons:

none yet

I tried it for the first time last night. I washed my face with 7% Benzoyl Peroxide Proactiv cleanser. I then mixed honey and a heavy squirt of lemon and applied. I left it on while I was in the bath tub and rinsed it off with cool water. I must say it did make my skin feel soft. I also want to try putting honey or aloe vera gel.

Pros:

It works for some people I guess. Tastes good too.

Cons:

Sticky. Messy.

I've had acne for a year or two. It covers my whole face from my forehead to my chin. (Also on my chest, back and shoulders.) I used honey and my mom seemed to notice a difference but it didn't work as well as some of the stories here did. My face has no real change. It doesn't even feel much softer. You should probably test this for one or two days and if you see change maybe continue for a month. If it doesn't work maybe you should try something else. :/

Cons:

hard to wash off. can cause bumps if put on for too long.

Pros:

100% Natural(If bought natural and not processed),Softens Skin,Smooths skin,Moisturizes Skin

Cons:

None really
You won't see immediate results, but that goes as any other product

Honey is a natural antiseptic. It softens and moisturizes the skin, also moisturizing blemishes, hence allowing them to heal naturally without damage. It helps calm redness and irritation down.Honey isn't something to rely on forever or as the main source of acne treatment,as it will not help all skin issues, but I use it along with a prescribed medication and my medication dries my skin out,but honey helps moisturize my skin and calm the dryness and irritation down.It sounds as though i'm a dermatologist, but i have acne and do lots of research on skin.In the end,i would recommend it,it does help skin out and is also good for preventing wrinkles in the future
