Pros:

got rid of redness and acne fast!!! and evened the tone of my skin

Cons:

once i stopped drinking it i got a rash and broke out all over the lower part of my face...i dont know if it was caused by not drinking green tea

For two days, i had to get to a swim meet each morning. so me and my mom went to starbucks and the lightest thing on there menu was green tea. I got 1 venti (LARGE) green tea with no sweetners. my skin looked so nice, it had a very pretty glow and all my acne was going away! then i got off it and POOF breakout. today i realized this and im getting back and tea tea RIGHT NOW because it really helps

Pros:

Cheap
Tastes good

Cons:

My skin got oilier
More acne popped up

It's delicious, cheap, and easy to make. But it made my skin a lot worse, and it wasn't the caffeine because I drank the decaf kind. I had three cups and that was enough to see that it's made my skin worse.

Pros:

Healthy

Cons:

Can be bitter if not brewed correctly

I stopped drinking it for a while because it's really hard to keep up with it during the 2 months of the school musical rehearsal...I regret it, because my skin was really great before, and now it's just so-so. I am going to start drinking it more.

Pros:

Been drinking green tea and cut down on dairy and have seen a massive difference. Even during time of the month, I have only had small breakouts. I really recommend green tea, as it is the ONLY thing to have helped in all these years of trying stuff

Cons:

No cons. Aswell as skin benefits, there are benefits to general health too, such as protection against cancer, lower blood pressure, high levels of anti-oxidents. Brilliant, I love it.

If you have acne, DRINK GREEN TEA. I am currently drinking between 5-6 small cups a day and find that it has cleared my skin up a treat. I think this combined with cutting down on dairy products has been a miracle cure for me. Try it.

Pros:

it tastes really good, especially arizona green tea and snapple all natural original green tea. and when i wiped a tea bag over my face, let it dry, wiped another let it dry... etc. and then iced it i saw dramatic change.

Cons:

the green tea i drink is 210 calories per thing, and the other one i drink is 120.. which is alot to burn off.

works.

Pros:

I dunno if it really works for acne... but I like it, just the same.

Cons:

None. Love it.

I never had acne in high school. I only began to break out when I turned 20 or so. I've tried everything...Proactive, Murad, Birth Control (Yasmin and Ortho Tri-Cycline lo), Retin-A, antibiotics, and most of the time I took a combination. All controlled it somewhat, but never completely cleared it up. The only thing I haven't tried is Acutane... and I really don't want to deal with my face peeling on a daily basis (although Retin A had the same effect). I have been drinking green tea pretty regularly (around 4 cups a day) for about a year now, and I haven't noticed that it's really helped. I've since stopped Yasmin and it's gotten worse. I've never tried actually applying the tea bag to my face though, but I drink enough of it, might as well give it a shot.

I have been drinking two cups of green tea to replace my two cups of coffee. I use the warm (not hot) tea bag on my face as an astringent. In the first week, the results were really great. I'm in week two and all the redness seems to have subsided. I had be religiously using other expensive products but simple green tea seems to work as well if not better.
