Honestly it does make a difference
I used to drink a lot of fizzy drinks and coffee with lots of sugar but recently switched to just drinking green tea and water; even if I go out for a meal I'll make sure to only drink water. But I've noticed a huge difference in my skin and breakouts since drinking green tea, I've got a few small spots on my face but not as many as I've had before. Obviously green tea isnt going to clear up your acne completely but it helps a lot.

Not just for drinking!!
Over the last few months my 18 yr old daughter, after never having had spots, has had a severe out break of sore red acne for which she has been prescribed antibiotics and a prescription cream. Neither have had much effect other than to make the area extreme dry and sore. A few weeks ago I read an article in the Daily Mail recommending green tea to be applied to the affected area. Over the last few days I have applied cotton wool pads saturated in green tea to the skin and also have open the tea bag and put the tea directly on the skin for 5 mins. In just a few days redness of the spots has improved significantly as well as the lumps that could be felt beneath the skin. I will definitely continue using green tea in this way.

Green Tea is absolutely amazing. Great for acne, your body and fat loss!
The best way to fight acne is from the inside-out. I love Green Tea. I used to drink 4 cups daily but had to slow down because I'm pregnant! While drinking the organic green tea (using loose leaves no bagged stuff), My skin was SO Clear and I didn't need to wear any foundation! I drank about 4 cups a day and took green tea extract pills (2x daily). I had noticed the results within a week and I no longer had any breakouts - even around my period when they would get worse. I would definitely recommend this to anyone suffering from acne. Not only does it help prevent breakouts, but it also replenishes your body and rids it of any toxins or waste, along with a healthy diet of course. It also helps to boost metabolism and is great for burning fat. I drink one before and after I exercise to help boost my fat-burning potential!

Pros:

Reduces cystic acne/nodular size
Reduces redness
Clears skin
Softens skin
No Irritation
Natural
Free of harsh chemicals and no side effects like any Rx creams that have been prescribed.(works just as well/better)

Cons:

None

I love green tea and drink it daily, and when I have a bad cyst or nodular acne spot, I let the tea bag cool and let it set on the spots. It helps reduce the swelling and the cysts go away a lot quicker than if I left them be. I get some small pustules on my cheeks and they're always really red. It seems to really help the redness in my skin.

Wow, this is amazing. I started drinking 3 cups a day on Tuesday. It's Saturday and my face is COMPLETELY clear. I was on the acne.org regimen and it really wasn't working and it was making my face red. I tried this, it help clear me up and my face is no longer red. I still use the regimen with it.

Pros:

helps pretty much everything

Cons:

...

I drink 4-5 cups a day, and after one week i noticed my skin looks almost flawless! I've been struggling with acne on and off since 16. but in the past year it had gotten sooo bad my friends and family were shocked. It was soo bad that every time i had to see them i'd hear comments like "whats going on Chloe? your skin looks pretty bad" but lately I've noticed a dramatic difference! i'll be drinking green tea everyday forever! because it helps EVERYTHING!

Overall good for health

I adore green tea. Not only is it good for the skin, its also really good for your body in general. I usually have a cup of green tea twice a day. My skin hasnt had any recent break outs but I dont know if its reduced my pimples or acne marks since Ive only been drinking it for a few days now but so far so good. c:

I use green tea as a toner. In the morning and at night I make some green tea with my coffee pot and let it cool while I'm taking a shower. Then I rub the tea bags all over my face and neck, and then I use my Alba Botanica toner then I moisturize my face with Clinique dramatically different GEL. I also drink the green tea that I made after I'm done. I use Kirkland 100% Japanese green tea from Costco. It's 1$2.00 because it's a pack of 100. I hope this works for you!! :)

Pros:

~reduces the inflamation of acne when used topically.
~increases the GABA in your brain, ie: NO ANXIETY!!!

Cons:

none, green tea is amazing for you!(unless your preggers, then please avoid!! it affects the way they body uses folate, something very important in a pregant womans diet to preven neural tube birth defects in babies)

my acne i know is brought on by stress...and im one of those mega stressed people...IT SUCKS! however, once i started drinking green tea it has brought my stress levels down MAJORLY! and green tea is like super high in amino acids which acts as a brain "balancer".so i know if i continue on this track stress levels down, acne gone!!! plus i get acne on my arms, and i chuck a bunch of green tea bags in the tub and have a good long soak and the inflammation on my arms is down so much, the acne is barely noticeable!!
