Pros:

Got rid of oiliness, cleared the huge puss filled cysts, skin is glowing like never before, used the tea bag as a facial toner, goodbye acne medications and birth control!

Cons:

None

Ive been struggling with acne for a year now. Im 24/f have had crystal clear skin all throughout my teens. I got struck with a horomonal problem and was placed on a cocktail of birth controls and other horomonal meds. In summary, my skin became a mess as of the summer of last year. I mean huge cysts that were filled with sebum ( the kind that no matter how much you squeezed more oil came out) gross i know, but the problem was horomonal. Tried saw palmetto, mint tea all if which were supposed to decrease the androgen causing horomone that was causing this gross skin condition, of course with no result. Summer time seems to aggrevate the condition due to the hot and humid air which caused my skin to be more oily, was on the verge of going on yaz but decided to go for one last natural approach.... Green tea! Ive been drinking the stuff 4 cups daily with no sugar or other additives, with lots of water and honey miced with sugar masks 2xs a day and i can officially say my skin has gone back to its natural texture. Normal/dry as opposed to super oily. Not only does green tea work on detoxifying the body and getting rid of the inflammation and acne causing bacteria but it also regulates the overly active androgen horomone which leads to acne. Check out some of the info i have found. Green tea is an absolute miracle Scientists at the Tang Center for Herbal Medicine Research at the University of Chicago identified a specific green tea catechin called (-) epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) as the main hormone-regulating catechin. Multiple animal studies show that injections of EGCG modulate androgens and other hormones which contribute to acne development.1

clears skin:)
healthy not only for face but for your whole body
No harsh chemicals:) all natural

Cons:

Green tea really can help to clear up acne. It really clears up your face and leaves your skin with a nice healthy glow. (or at least it did that for me) it also leaves skin soft. Of course, everyone's skin is different. This also takes redness away. oh, and it helped with my acne scars. You should really try it! It is also very healthy to drink too:) I totally recommend it! Drinking it too can help improve your acne. It also isn't expensive:)

Pros:

Incredibly healthy, works very well for me.

Cons:

burnt mouth in the morning if you try to drink it too quickly haha

This stuff works very well for me. I buy Organic jasmine green tea from Trader Joes. Ive only been using this for a total of 2 weeks and my face has cleared up and havent had a horrible break out. my face is shiny and have gotten compliments from people that I look happier and my skin is clearing up. I just started this experiment of putting the green tea leaves with vitamin E oil in a crackpot and let it cook for an hour or so. it works like making pot brownies(ha). ive been applying it to my face the past 3 days and the scars on my face has reduced 10 fold. its a long process but its been worth it so far and its only been 3 days!

Hello, I'm 15 years old and I've been suffering from moderately severe acne for around 4 years. I used strong acne creams and prescription medications ever since I got the first few pimples on my forehead. If I told myself one year ago that something as simple as green tea would heal and improve all my acne, I wouldn't have believed it. Sure, I've always heard about the fantastic benefits of green tea. Yeah, it's loaded with antioxidants, it flushes out your body etc. It wasn't until I heard that it's great for the skin, that I REALLY paid attention to it. I started drinking around one cup of green tea a day. I didn't add sugar, honey, lemon, milk etc. because I really wanted the max effects of the green tea. But I didn't think green tea tasted so bitter! It was almost unbearable. I did this for a month, realised that it didn't do anything, and upped my intake. You have to drink lots for see results. Then I started drinking 4 cups a day, and now I drink around 8 cups a day. I love the taste now. I don't need any sugar, honey etc. It can be hard to get used to though. WOW what a difference this drink has made! I cannot live without this stuff. My skin no longer breaks out every single day. It's soft and bouncy. My acne decreased a lot! I only ever get small whiteheads now. Pimples come up around my period, but they're smaller in size and now as painful. Unfortunately, it took me months and months to see results. I mean, it took me nearly 6 months to see improvement! I can go through a box of 50 tea bags in around 3 weeks. I drink A LOT of green tea everyday, and this can really add up to the monthly budget. So I reuse all my tea bags. If I drink 2 cups of tea at a time, really quickly, I would feel bloated and dizzy afterwards. So try not to do that! Oh yeah, I go to the toilet really often now. But that means that the green tea is flushing all that yucky stuff out of your body! Highly reccommended, green tea is awesome~

Pros:

smells great
reduced redness
fast!!

Cons:

none

I had a really red spot on my face I needed to get rid of. First, I put on an oatmeal mask with yogurt and green tea. (oatmeal to dry up the zits, yogurt to moisturize, green tea to reduce redness.) After I took it off, I got another green tea bag, wet it with warm water, and applied to the red spot for about a minute or two. It was barely noticeable anymore! This is so easy, cheap, and effective. I love this! If you have green tea, warm water, and a minute to spare, your redness is gone :)

Pros:

-reduce redness
-reduce zits
-makes the skin glow and look healthy
-detox

Cons:

none (might make your skin a lil' dry but oily skin gives more zits, so it's not a bad thing)

I started it 2 or 3 weeks ago in order not to reduce acne but to make my voice smoother and i started to notice that my acne has reduced as well as the redness, a lot! oh, and for those who dont like the taste, just add 1 or 2 spoonfulls of honey which is also good for voice and skin as well. And if you dont like honey either, then just be patient with the taste, it's nothing compared to getting rid of acne!

Works 100%

Pros:

Works 100%
Green tea is good for you! :p

You must drink at least 2 cups of green tea everyday, for about a month. (it works better if you don't add sugar) The more you drink everyday, the better. You'll have to wait less than a month, and your acne will start to disappear. :p Keep drinking at least once a week even if you've already got rid of all the acne marks in your face to avoid getting acne again. It worked 100% for me, in less than a month. :p

Pros:

Best remedy for Acne blemishes,Redness, and rough skin

Cons:

NONE!!! Green tea is amazing!!

Use green tea daily 2-3 times a day. Both drink it, and splash it on your face. AMAZING RESULTS!! U notice the difference within a few days and get complete results within 2 weeks tops. Instead of washing your face with regular soap, mix green tea into it. I PROMISE YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE. I rinse my face with green tea instead of just plain water. I now enjoy smooth red-free, blemish free skin.

Get outside walking/activity (go with a friend or familytake you mind off the monster) 3.No more Harsh Chemicals on the face (this was a big one for me..just stop it) 4. A cleanser like Noxema or Cetaphil twice a day and if feel oily just use warm water to cleanse 5. Drink green tea at meals and as a topical clearer around bedtime(this is huge) 6. Moisturize if needed lightly 6. If anything else just living life and not hideing will reduce the stress and make the monster reduce...Thanks and Be strong you are all beautiful to me
