Blemishes reduced to 60%
I have been suffering from chronic acne since the age of 12. I am 30 today. I have tried all possible products in the market , spent too much money but couldnt get the result green tea gave me. What eventually worked for me are these things: 1.egg white mask + lemon -> helps close pores and help with glowing skin 2.green tea-> helps reduce blemishes on both side of my cheeks. i saw the difference in 2 weeks. sipping 2 cups each day (i am fond of pure jasmine green tea) 3.on weekends i try to get little more than 8 hours of sleep (this closes my pores) 4. apply toothpaste on a pimple overnight (allows pimple to dry out) 5. use st ives apricot scrub (works best to scrub dead cells away and polish my skin) What I am still not able to resolve are: 1.i have a blackheads on my cheeks that is there for past couple of months and none of the things i have tried until now including baking soda have been able to wipe it out. Any suggestions here are welcome, please!!

Apart from all other things you are doing, please try eliminating dairy.. and see for any difference...

Pros:

Green tea flushes out the toxins from the body. I can really feel the difference.

Cons:

none

If you want to feel energized and increase your self esteem this will do the trick. One cup a day is enough to see the results of antioxidants on the skin and body.

It helps!
I drink one or two cups of green tea everyday and afterwards put the tea-bag on my skin. I don't know if drinking green tea is very beneficial for your skin, because I still get the same amount of new pimples. But it has definitely helped my gut to be calmer and they say acne is caused by gut problems for some people. But using the tea-bag on my face as an exfoliator has remarkably been effective! It helps to remove the redness and also makes pimples appear smaller. Sadly it doesn't cause your pimples to stay away, but it's a very helpful method to get rid of pimples that are already there.

Pros:

- cleanses the body
- jam packed with benefits in the long run
- can dried up acne
- refreshing effect on the skin (face and around the eyes)
- can ease the redness of the blemishes left by pimples

Cons:

the unbearable taste when you're drinking it the first time

green tea is good for the body. Everybody can benefit from it when consumed properly. Green tea should be taken moderately as it contains caffeine too. Too much caffeine is no good. I'm drinking green tea like nearly one year already. At first just to know what it taste like, wondering why many Asians were so into it. And just to enjoy my Chinese buffet spree. As day passes by, it becomes part of my day, during my first month, I add tons of equal and milk into it because of the unforgiving taste, and then my 2nd month, I load it with honey, on my 3rd month up to now, I drink it just the way it is. I believe by drinking just the way it is you can max the benefit your body will get. I use it too (the tea bag) in my face and it dried my biggest pimple in 2 days, it also reduced the redness of some blemishes on my face. I applied it around my eyes especially on my eyebags to reduce its puffiness and hopefully to reduce its darkness.

Pros:

- Works
-Cheap
-Easy to apply/consume
-It has other health benefit.(weight loss)

Cons:

-taste at the beginning

I was hit with moderately severe acne for the last 2 years, life was miserable and new acne keep popping up every single day. Since using green tea for the last 6 months, its has tremendously improve my skin condition. I do still have SMALL pimple which appears once in awhile but it heals faster than before as green tea helps in reducing inflammation. I am not saying that green tea is a sure remedy in curing acne but to those who are stuck in finding a solution for their acne problem, give Green Tea a try. good luck

Reduces redness
I just started a new facial routine which has green tea. I make a single serving, put ice and honey in it and use the tea bag on face. It seemed to reduce redness on my face. I will try to update in a week or two. I AM USING THIS WITH OTHER PROTUCTS, NOT ALONE!!! I also read that it has antioxidants, so it might aide in getting rid of acne. My morning routine is: Wash (using oil free facial wash), Cleanse, Tea (do not rinse off!!), once the tea is dry, I use a few drops of jojoba oil, rub into finger tips and gently pat onto face. I also read that it helps significantly to remove or minimize fried foods and dairy products, however yogurt is fine. So if you like to eat ice cream a lot, switch to frozen yogurt.

Pros:

Cleaclears skin fast.

Cons:

I didn't dislike anything about it, I actually liked the taste.

green tea really helped my skin, not only by drinking it, but I also put some on my face. I'd use it as a toner. my pores have almost vanished, my acne scars are reducing, and my pimples are going away, and I've never been so amazed, after using proactive, and gels, and cleansers, this natural remedy works ! I've been drinking and using the green tea for almost a week now. it's great !

Pros:

Even complextion, reduced swelling, even glow, cleaner pores, elminates black heads.

Cons:

none so far.

I've dealt with a serious blackhead situation for most of my life. Lately, in my late 20s it grown worse and spread to areas on my face that never were infected. Some take weeks to surface and when they do finally emerge I'm left with scars. I've been less then satisfied with many past regimans...I've learned simplicity is key. I've heard about green tea as a solution. I've been drinking it for years. I can't say if the drink helps, I do have to say rubbing the tea bag on my skin has! I was skeptical at first, it felt silly but I was impressed the following morning. I also kept the tea bag from the previous evening, and the following morning I used the tea leaves as an exfoliant and left it on my face for 15 minutes. It's speeding up the surfacing of some of the stubborn pimples and healing my skin faster. I hope that in a week or so, I'm clearer! My complextion is even and my skin has a natural glow.
