Pros:

cheap (doesn't cost much to give it a try), easy to implement into daily routine, host of other health benefits attributed to product

Cons:

I personally quite like the taste of green tea, but some do not... so the only con I can think of is if you don't like the taste of it.

I have had problem skin since I was 13 years old and I have tried EVERYTHING (all the over the counter products in existance, proactive, antibiotics, the birth control pill etc etc etc). My acne is mild-moderate so my doctor decided I was not a candidate for Accutane, which from some of the reviews I have heard is a good thing! I'm in my 20s now, and although my skin has calmed down, it is far from perfect. Starting my first full time job, I needed a quick caffine fix in the mornings and I don't drink coffee... so I went to the common cafeteria and stumbled upon green tea and decided to drink it for no other reason then I needed caffine. Well, the results that I have seen in the past month are incredible! My existing breakouts have really cleared up, and no new ones have emerged. I still have some markings, but the redness and swelling of the spots has much improved making it easier to cover with make-up-- i even felt confident enough to go without coverup a few mornings!

Pros:

(This is for Proactive's GT oil free moisturizer) Work's even better than Cliniques DDMG! Skin feels so smooth and LIGHT! VERY Nice going on.

Cons:

Expensive considering brand & size. Smell is just OK.

Best moisturizer IMO for problem combo. Skin.

Green tea is a great acne treatment. I recommend rubbing your face with the teabag after drinking. It has helped my face a lot and I hope it does the same to yours:)

Pros:

Reduced redness, exfoliate, soften the skin, cheap

Cons:

Messy

I drink grean tea with honey everyday and I used the used tea bag as a scrub. I open the tea bag, brewed in hot water, put more cold water so it gets warm. Then i wash my face with it and use the tea leaves as a scrub. The result is amazing. The redness because using to much BP is gone, and it's also good to get rid of the dry skin that really flaky. The next morning my existing acne is dry and my skin in smoother. The only cons is after you use it, my sink is pretty messy with the tea leaves. But it's easy to clean. YOu should try. It's really good if your skin really dry and flaky cause it's exfoliate the skin without iritate it.

Pros:

Great for skin, inexpensive, great inside out.

Cons:

NONE!

I loved Green Tea since I was young, and I have heaps at home. Being a traditional Chinese family, we buy a lot of tea. And it's not just Green Tea that worked-- a lot others did too! I usually drink Green Tea & use it as toner also. It's also a very good moisturizer too! I drank it one night, the next day I woke up, I immediately felt a difference! I love to drink tea, even when Iwas young. [Guess it's a Chinese thing, you know!] I highly reccomend it to you all!

Pros:

Works Amazingly!

Cons:

NONE!

I had SEVERE acne. When I say severe..I MEAN SEVERE. In one day, the redness, bumpiness of my acne was completely gone. This is what I did. First, I drank 3 cups of unsweetened and uncaffeinated green tea throughout the day. At night time, I made a small paste using turmeric powder, skim milk, and the main ingredient was green tea. What I did was rip open the last teabag I used for the day and I poured half of it into the paste and mixed it. Then I applied the paste and let it dry for 30 mins. I washed it off and I saw the results immediately. I hope this is a long-term remedy because I am doing this EVERY night! No new breakouts for the past 2 weeks and my skin looks better than ever.
