Use this AFTER you clean your face with make up remover
I have bad acne, whitehead, and acne scars. First I use make up remover than cleans your make up. Usually, after this my face is still oily and I feel the leftover make up still clogs my pores. This is the purpose of Cetaphil. Cleans the pores of my bare face. Use this on dry skin! Don't rinse your face with water before applying Cetaphil. You can feel it cleans your skin well.

so far so good
i have been using this for two days and it has already cleared up most pimples i have. it feels great and i love that its fragrance free as my skin is quite sensitive. (i use it twice a day, applying warm water to my face first, then massaging in the cleanser for about 2-5 minutes, and then i wash it off with cold water before patting my face dry with a towel) i will be sure to update if i see any changes!

Pros:

Leaves skin feeling clean
Easy to use pump bottle

Cons:

None so far! But some don't like the texture, mostly the fact that it doesnt lather. Which doesnt bother me in the slightest.

Only been using this for a week or so, so I cant say it has changed my acne, but I can tell you that my skin feels clean!! It also doesnt irritate my skin, like most cleansers normally would. I was reading these reviews before i bought it, the funniest one said "its like jizz on your face! Buy it! "This was a comment on the texture.....that speaks for itself. Thanks whoever wrote that, I laughed so hard....

Cetaphil gentle cleanser review
I have been using this product for more than 6 months. My type of skin was oily and prone to get whiteheads. Since i work in a hospital environment i tend to touch my face alot unconciously. Initially it felt weird to use this without water to wash my face. Then wash it with cold water. Pat dry my face and apply cetaphil lotion (pea size amount coz i realised the formula is thick) massage to face After doing this rotine for a while my face improved alot. Not much breakout only one or 2. Pore on my nose got smaller. I am happy with both products i use. And will keep on useing this rotine fir a very long time☺️

i think its okay
By me having really bad skin. I constantly scratch my face a lot or try to pop the pimples instead. Which left ugly blackheads and black marks on my face. I lliterally hated the way I look but when using cetaphil it instantly made a glowing look and you can see how the acne or pimples go away or at least get way smaller

love this cleanser
I love this stuff, I have very oily skin so I need a good cleanser that helps remove it without being so harsh that my skin creates loads more. This does that, I use it every night before bed and wake up with no new break outs and not very oily skin.

Pros:

mile cleanser that doesnt scour or over dry skin. no additives to lead you to believe you are getting a clean rinse.

Cons:

not foamy, and one may think that they are not getting a good wash.

Good for daily cleansing. wouldnt rely on it for makeup removal b/c its not a scouring substance. If your face breaks out when you change soaps its prob. b/c your face isnt used to it and is fighting it.

Cleanses without stripping the skin!
Ive had mild acne for a couple years now and have purchased countless products to try and combat my breakouts. This cleanser is great for daily washing. I use it morning and night religiously. I dont think it does an awful lot to actually treat acne in any way, but does help to soothe and wash the skin from any dirt that gets built up throughout the day. Also ive found that it does remove oiliness from the skin however doesn't strip it entirely, which is really important when trying to fight acne. Furthermore, it hasnt caused me any severe breakouts or further irritation. Id recommend sticking with it and giving it an honest go!

Pros:

- non-drying
- non-greasy
- gentle
- keeps my skin clear(ish)

Cons:

- awkward consistency
- doesn't remove makeup very well

this is the only cleanser that I have used that I like enough to keep using. It keeps my skin as clear as possible without over drying it. Sometimes I don't even have to moisturize. I've tried other facial cleansers but keep going back to this one.
