Pros:

Gently washes away white heads and gently reduces redness and irritation.

Cons:

It is a runny solution and it doesn't lather but who cares as long as it clears acne. It smells bad but only if you take a big wiff of it out of the bottle, besides that it isn't so bad.

It works, its worth it!

Pros:

it's alright. the smell isnt too bad.

Cons:

it takes a while to get used to the "feel" of it/pricey

it's best just to use this product if you have light/moderate acne. it is a bit pricey. i use it before i go to school since my skin tends to flake on me in certain spots. an overall okay product. not the best, but it helps

Pros:

-Excellent for sensitive skin AND acne.
-Many say its too 'liquidy'. This, ive found, is actually a benefit.

With acne ridden sensitive skin, ive tried every cleanser under the sun. I used to think the stronger the 'clean' the better - using strong exfoliants and cleanser. Bad idea. Even the so called 'moisturising foaming' washes somehow managed to dry out my skin. The end result - tonnnes and tonnes of new spots and blemishes. Cetaphil however is different. It basic, gentle and gives a good clean without all these unnessecary 'active' ingredients. The great thing is i can be used in conjunction with a 5% benzoyl peroxide with minimum dryness. At the end of the day, for acne-ridden skin, the gentler the cleanser, the better.

Pros:

Very gentle, non-drying, reduces irritation, non-comedogenic despite lotion texture, soap free.

Cons:

Not suitable for very oily skin or hot/humid climates, leaves light residue on skin, not suitable for heavy/waterproof make-up.

This is a fantastic gentle and soothing cleanser, especially in cooler/drier climates. I usually use this cleanser mid fall thru late spring when my acne prone skin easily becomes dry and irritated by our Great Canadian Winter. I use it on make-up free skin in the morning and it leaves my face soft and glowing, but I prefer a gel cleanser in the evening. Definetely needs to be followed up by your favourite targeted acne lotion- a good, well-priced choice.

Proven to be effective. Doesn't dry my skin. Most of the products I've been using cause my sensitive face to become red after washing but not Ceptahil. Acne lessen. <3 Will continue using this.

Pros:

Smoothign on skin, not harsh at all!
Plus, its economically affordable :)

Cons:

I guess its more of an acne-preventive solution than the much hoped-for of an acne-curing cleanser ...

Gotta give it a try! I was suscribing to a local dermatologist's independant medications and started switching on the day i left for thailand on a holiday. This cleanser managed to kept me acne-free even though i was expecting some to sprout out due to the sudden change in cleanser and coupled with the humid weather in thailand. So far so good, hasnt given me any problems excepts for a few pastules (< 3) Give it a try at least and you should see quite satisfactory results pretty soon!

Pros:

Does not dry out skin and has greatly improved my complexion.

Cons:

At first the absense of foaming lather was a bit awkward, but it is easy to get over if the product helps your skin.

Like all products Cetaphil will not work for all skin types. My skin is sensitive and prone to dryness. I tried many different products to rid myself of acne to no avai. I finally realized that my dry skin was actually the problem. I was using drying acne medications that only further dried out my skin, which made my skin produce more oil to combat the dryness, resulting in more acne. Of course Cetaphil alone will not solve all your problems. You also need to exfoliate a few times a week. I would recommend a gentle exfoliator and if you are going to apply a topical acne treatment after washing your face follow up with some light non-greasy moisturizer. One product is not going to be your cure-all. If you wear makeup I'd also recommend wearing a tinted moisturizer vs liquid foundation or compact powder. And never wear your makeup to bed! Also if you are interested in using Cetaphil as a makeup remover I recommend you purchase the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser.

Pros:

I noticed that it is very gentle to the skin.

Cons:

I dont like how it doesnt lather. It feels like your not even removing any dirt or oil.

Good for sensitive skin. Give it a try.
