Pros:

It is very light and it keeps face moisturized.

Cons:

It didn't do anything for my acne. I actually think it made it worse. And I don't have super oily skin. I have combo. But it's always worth a try to see if it works for you!

Didn't help acne for me :(

Pros:

Cetaphil did make my face feel clean. Also, it was easily attainable.

Cons:

It did not help with my blemishes in fact, even made me wonder if it was making them worse. My skin still stayed extremely oily.

Cetaphil is for those people who already have great skin and if that were the case with me I wouldn't even be on this site. Right?

Pros:

This cleanser did not irritate or overly dry my skin.

Cons:

However, it did make my acne worse.

If you have dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin, I would not use it if your aim is to clear up acne.

Pros:

Not any different.

Cons:

It doesn't really remove dirt since its a very gentle cleanser.Recommened mostly for sensitive skin.

The product has to be used with prescriptions or acne creams to decrease breakouts.

Pros:

It seems to do the trick. I can't be entirely sure how well it's working, since a lot of it might be due to the antibiotics.

Cons:

Somewhat oily feel when I put it on. I use water with it. It's extremely expensive - it must be because it's shipped over here (New Zealand).

I have not tried it without water, and the idea that you only need a "pea sized amount" is new to me, so I'll try it. The price I gave is what it cost for 500 ml (about 16 fl. oz.).

Pros:

smooths my face, cooling, took away oil

Cons:

burned my face when i tried to do a face mask, didnt clear anything

I love to do face masks and this made my face burn when i would do and its not the mask because i have used other cleansers and they didnt burn! and this stuff isnt cheap so i felt like i wasted money

Pros:

Cetaphil used to work wonders for me. I had clear, soft beautiful skin - now my skin is constantly breaking out in cystic acne. It's painful and I look like hell.

Cons:

No longer works.

If it works for you use it until it stops. But once your skin starts breaking out give up and move on to another product.

Pros:

It's affordable, has no fragrance, easy to use.

Cons:

- Contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, a known irritant
- It irritated and dried out my skin even more(I have dry skin)
- Acne got worse

I was one of the unlucky ones, I guess. Try it out for a week or so to see if your skin reacts badly to it. My skin started getting worse approx. 1 month after using this product. Before that, there wasn't much change at all. I ditched this for Olay Moisture-Balancing Foaming Facewash and it works much better [for me].

Pros:

I had loads of acne. I use this now it's controllable. I use Cetaphil as a cleanser but I use a cream for my achne separately.

Cons:

Bit expensive to pay for a cleanser in Sri Lanka

Cetaphil is a mild cleanser. For me it is a good product
