Pros:

Nice scent, lightweight.

Cons:

Didn't clean my skin, felt like it left a "film" on my skin.

My derm recommended this because it's gentle. I agree with that, but I felt like it hardly cleansed my skin. It felt like a film was left on my face and nothing got cleaned off.

Pros:

price, fragrance free, GENTLE, cleans without stripping

Cons:

none so far!

Why have I waited so long to try this? I have had moderate to severe acne since I was 11. I'm now 30. I have tried everything under the sun, even all natural products. Nothing has worked like this. I cleanse with Cetaphil twice a day, morning and night, using it without water like the instructions on the back say. I wipe it off with a damp very soft face cloth that I got from the Body Shop. In the morning, I follow that with Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid. At night, I don't put anything on after I cleanse. My skin has cleared up dramatically. What this has proved to me is that all those "acne" products that I've been using over the years have been too rough on my skin, which I now realize is sensitive. I'm so impressed with how much my skin has cleared up without BP! I've used BP off and on for years. I don't even miss "washing" my face! I also don't miss that dry and stripped feeling that I would always get with other cleansers that I've used. Cetaphil I HEART you!

Dried out my skin, not good for being on the regimen.
Dried my skin out and not keen on it because it doesn't lather up at all so you can glide your hands across your face.

Finally!
This is the ONLY cleanser I have been able to use with my cystic acne. It does not irritate my skin. I actually started buying the knock off version because it has one less ingredient. I am convinced it works because it doesn't have a lot of stuff in it compared to others. I have never used the bar version because I read it is bad for acne prone skin.... Anyway, give it a try!

Great for sensitive skin
I found that my previous cleanser was way too harsh on my skin. I was red, itching, and flaking. I started using this product twice a day in combination with my BHA lotion and my skin looks so healthy. I don't recommend this product for clearing up acne (although it does NOT cause acne), but if you are using other products that contain SA or BP and are just looking for something that will hydrate and gently cleanse your skin, this is a great purchase. It also does not remove makeup. I wear makeup almost everyday, so I just use makeup removing wipes prior to washing my skin, and it works out just fine. Great buy if you want something gentle and use in combination with a toner and BHA!

Recommend this product a million times over and over again
This liquid cleanser is a great for sensitive skin because it doesn't cause any irritation and it is scent-free. It also contains the oily skin types by not over drying. I have been using this for over 2 years and I also recommend this fantastic blog that helped me as well: acnebegone.wix. com/feelyourselfagain FYI - need to remove the space before "com"

Fantastic Cleanser for Sensitive Skin

Pros:

Does not irritate my sensitive skin
Feels lovely and no fragrance
Comes in a big bottle and lasts a long time

Cons:

Not strong enough to remove make-up
More expensive than some cleansers, but worth it!

I have so much love for this cleanser. My skin's extremely sensitive and has looked so much less irritated since I started using this cleanser instead of some of the harsher acne-treating type cleansers. Feels lovely on the skin, no fragrance or other things that irritate the skin. As some other reviewers have said it doesn't really lather but I don't find this a problem at all because it cleanses nicely if you just apply it as it is. My only criticism is that it's not powerful enough to remove foundation so I have to use cleansing wipes for that before using this cleanser at night.

It's an excellent cleanser.

Pros:

Very Gentle
Doesn't neutralize the BP
Skin feels smooth after washing

Cons:

Doesn't lather enough

It's probably the best cleanser I've ever used. I've used quite a number of cleansers but I like this a lot. This doesn't help clear up acne but it's an excellent cleanser paired with Benzoyl Peroxide.
