Pros:

gentle, removes makeup well, non irritating, affordable, doesn't clog pores, doesn't dry out skin.

Cons:

They could work on a better packaging as it doesn't travel well.

By far the BEST cleanser. I used Cetaphil for 3 months and it clogged my pores to the point where I had to have them extracted by my dermatologist (ouch!). Then I switched to Purpose and I saw great improvement. Then I decided to use Neutrogena Fresh Foam which dried out my skin. Then I went back to Purpose and again my skin was at its best. Then I decided to try La Roche Posay Toleriane cleanser which was awful. It left a residue on my skin and broke me out. Finally I went back to Purpose and within one day my skin cleared up. I am glad that I tried several cleansers because now I know that Purpose is the ONE for the reasons specified in the "pros" box and here. My regimen is very simple and my skin loves it. In the morning I cleanse followed with a high quality suncreen 50 spf, at night I cleanse again, use retin A (awesome product) followed by a light moisturizer. Clear skin is definitly attainable with a good regimen, good spf and a healthy lifestyle (NO refined carb and sugar).

Pros:

Lathers well, lightweight, not over-drying

Cons:

Expensive, the bottle is hard to travel with

A good fill in for the Acne.org cleanser when you just don't feel like paying for shipping/ran out and forgot to order online.

Pros:

It is a good basic cleanser. It doesn’t have many ingredients, no salicylic acid or little bead things (which irritate my skin). I needed something gentle as I am using BP and it dries out my skin.

Cons:

I would not recomend taking it in the shower as the bottle lets water in and ruins the face wash!! I do not have really bad acne so I just use it to remove make-up and clean my skin. I feel that that is all it is good for.

I love how gentle it is, I only use it to cleanse my face and not to treat acne. Be cautious when taking it in the shower!

Pros:

Works really well, very consistent.

Cons:

Only two;doesn't work great with the stubborn pimples[but a spot treatment should do the trick]

You should totally buy it, personally i think it works better with oilier skin.

Pros:

Works very well, it keeps my face feeling cleaned and does not try out my face, helps reduce my acnes.

Cons:

Sometimes buying from diffrent drugstore or market store, it comes in diffrent colors, which kinda dosn't give me a good mind, rather they are selling me a bad product.

I was breaking out, then i got recomended to use nuetrogena oil free acne wash and i broked out even more. so im planing to go back and use my purpose face wash which didn't make my face break out as much as other face wash

Pros:

affordable, gentle, clean scent, removes light foundation, attractive packaging, no false rays of marketing-induced hope (helloooo every $35 cleanser at sephora that promised me THE BEST SKIN OF MY LIFE FOREVER)

Cons:

occasionally leaves my face tighter than I'd like, but whatever.

I use this in conjunction with the regimen's 2.5% bp treatment and a fancy pants antioxidant-filled moisturizer. This lineup has worked quite well for me. Before I started the regimen a few months ago, I went from having red, inflamed under-the-skin pimples all over my chin + inflammatory blockages and whiteheads on my cheeks to clear, balanced skin with only ~2 pimples right before my monthly lady fun times. It probably wouldn't clear acne on its own, but if you're using a gentle bp treatment and a good moisturizer, hopefully it will work as well for you as it has for me. caveat 1: I do find that it dries out my dryness-prone areas a little after I take a really hot shower (not my fault - my shower alternates between glacial runoff and scalding hell water). not so much in the morning when I use the sink. caveat 2: I do find its nice to OCCASIONALLY use a gentle exfoliating wash (e.g. salicylic acid wash) in place of this, since this is so gentle it doesn't always get rid of that dead skin buildup that can happen near a healing pimple (I know you know exactly what I'm talking about). bp can make your skin flake, and yes, exfoliants can be irritating, but used sparingly I think it's nice to get rid of that dead skin buildup. Helps the bp and moisturizer absorb better and makes the skin tone more even. For me at least. Just sayin.

Pros:

Smells nice, easy to lather up on a wash cloth, soap-free, and it really makes my face soft and acne-free.

Cons:

Sometimes too mild and it should be put in a squeeze bottle instead of the current packaging.

Really great! If you want a nice, soft face, definitely buy Purpose!
