Pros:

inexpensive
non-comedogenic/fragrance free

Cons:

water leaks in if left in shower

I originally bought this product for a few reasons: -fragrance free -non-comedogenic/won't clog pores -soap free I have to say that this is something that i look for in almost every skin care product. Purpose cleanser does hold its end of the bargain with those claims but i wasn't exactly that impressed by the face wash. It cleaned my skin and made it feel soft but i really didnt see any difference in clarity. For that reason i switched to something else, but i think it's a great product and is worth trying if you want something gentle and non-irritating.

Pros:

Nice smell, no residue on your skin, cleans your skin well

Cons:

Dried my skin out

It was alright. For some reason it totally dried my skin out, even with though I also use a moisturizer (and I normally have oily skin, so that was weird to suddenly have dry skin). My skin felt tight and started to peel and flake. I still use this once in awhile though and I'm fine. Otherwise it just wasn't right for my skin I suppose. For travel I just poured it in another container, no big deal since the actual bottle spills easily.

Good cleanser, but a tad harsh on my combo skin.

Pros:

Foams quickly
Has a light fragrance
A little goes a long way

Cons:

Dries out non-oily areas
Kinda expensive

I bought this on a whim while at Target. I had previously been using a salicylic acid-based scrub which did okay, but I knew it was too harsh. Initially this worked out well and I had bought it right on time because my dermatologist started me on Epiduo and Doryx. After a month, I found that it dries out my cheeks more than I expected a gentle cleanser to, but it's probably just how my skin is. I'll be finishing this bottle, but I won't be coming back.

gets used to skin

ok so i bought this and it was great at first... but now whiteheads are appearing and it didnt help my skin texture at all... and it gets used to skin pretty quickly...

Pros:

Pupose Bar soap smells very nice. I used it on my back to help clear up acne and it worked really well.

Cons:

READ THE BOTTOM LINE-

Im not sure what went wrong, but when i washed my face with the Purpose Bar soap I had a reaction. My entire face turned red, and burned terribly, enough to make me cry. My face peeled and became extremly irratated. The acne on my face started to bleed and eventually scarred. Its been about a week now, and it hasnt gotten any better. My face is too dry to wash with anything else because of Purpose so now im breaking out even more. I dont know what went wrong. I know that my skin is ALOT more SENSITIVE than most peoples, but this time I was confident it would work ): ):

Pros:

works well to keep my zits away

Cons:

doesn't help to get rid of zits

I tried this a few years ago when I had bad acne and it did nothing. I recently used zen med to clear up my skin and now use this cleanser and it is working to keep things clear

Pros:

Doesnt dry out skin

Cons:

Made me break out

I have mild acne and thought this might be a good cleanser since it is so gentle, but it caused me to have one of the worst break outs of my life

Pros:

Lathers well.

Cons:

I wasn't crazy about the smell, and since my bottle stayed in the shower it filled with water. I think the packaging is the biggest drawback.

This turned my few large, red pimples into scores of tiny bumps under the skin. Which is worse? It wasn't that great for me.
