Pros:

I've only been using it a few days, so as of yet, there seem to be no pros to add. If it's purpose is to bring out every impuirty in your skin as a whitehead, then it's doing a good job.

Cons:

Has inflamed my skin terribly, and caused whiteheads to appear everywhere. Some have said this is the purity process, but it does not encourage me to continue using it if my skin is going to look terrible for the next few weeks.

Maybe I'm having a bad reaction, but I'm inclined to continue using it, as others have warned about "initial breakouts" when using the product. I've had severe acne throughout my entire adolescent life, and I'm now 22 and looking for something to put a stop to this social hinderance that burdens me every day of my life. I'm a guy, so I can't just cover up the problem with make-up, so this "purity process" is going to be difficult to handle. I'm going to stick with it, and I'll post again in a few weeks with my evaluation of the product.

Pros:

It works well, doesn't bleach everything you own.

Cons:

Quite pricey but worth it.

Having suffered spots almost constantly since 12 years old, I'm now 36! I've beeen using for a week and my face looks better already, has stopped spots from starting and made big ones that usually last for weeks go down to almost nothing. Noticed my face peeling slightly, which seems to be getting rid of suface blackheads too. It's pricey but worth it and you should check out deals on the web if you're going to use all the time. As long as I let it dry properly I can put moisturiser on top and then foundation also.

Pros:

It seems to reduce inflammation on single spots, especially underlying red ones, and help them heal a bit quicker.

Cons:

If i spread a film over an area it frequently causes small whiteheads to appear in that area in a very short space of time ie a day or less. Another reviewer has had same problem I notice.

Because of said whitehead problem, I only apply to single, angry spots where it can help them calm down a heal a bit faster. I don't use it to prevent spots, as I certain it actually causes whiteheads when I apply to healthy skin!

Pros:

easy toapply, not sticky, disappears within seconds

Cons:

small white heads appearing!! arggghhh!!

i have been using this for only about a week so am going to give it a good shot as i have, just as everyone else tried pretty much everything else. have suffered and suffered since the age of 13 i am now 28 which means 15 years of hiding behind a mask of makeup trying to make the best of it!! argghh, gets u down though eh? as i said its only a week since ive started using freederm but have noticed a LOT of tiny whiteheads appearing which i have NEVER suffer with, its usually the angry red, sore spots around my chin and jaw line. i am hoping however, being a glass half full kinda gal that these are purely an indication that this is a product which is actually doing something as opposed to the others which have been a waste of time and money! and wait with baited breath :) i will post back again in a few weeks........ fingers crossed :) x

Pros:

It worked well at reducing swelling, worked well when i had mild/moderate acne.

Cons:

It stopped working and i ended up with severe cystic acne, its very expensive, and it doesnt prevent.

If you are prone to mild acne or the odd spot, then it will work, but i dont recomend it, because you may end up getting sever cystic like me. Basically it was a big mistake to start using it.

WHAT A JOKE
This product is the worst thing ever. Doesn't work at all and way too expensive. Does nothing expect sit there. So many people agree with me, Freederm is such a joke. Stupid product, Worst thing ever, don't buy it! I had to use a whole bottle in one night to see any effect. If you want the slighest effect, you have to keep on applying the gel every 10 minutes! Stupid company and stupid product, this gel shows how bad the company is, Im glad they're loosing money and shutting down soon

Pros:

I bought Freederm Gel @ the weekend from Boots, I have so far noticed a massive improvement, I'm 22 and Have suffered with bad ache since I was a teen, I have to say i am IMPRESSED, I've gone to work with no make up on today! :-O

Cons:

Make sure you wash it off fully in the morning as the gel goes like a film.

So far, immensley pleased with this product, I would of never come to work with no make up on and I've been able to do that. I've suffered to the past couple of weeks with underlying red sports, that I have not been able to get rid of. I've noticed that they are not as red and sore. I've tried everything over the years from my Doctors and never really thought of Freederm. I hope it continues to work and that I'm able to go make up free more often! I paid £4.99 for the product from Boots, which is worth it for a acne free face! I also have Phoriasis patches on my face and I have found that the freederm has not irrirated or made my phoriasis flare up in any way! Very pleased.

Pros:

It reduced redness and instant results.

Cons:

bit flaky. exspensive although worth the money

my chin broke out in sooo many spots and i had heard this was great for acne so i thought it would do a couple of spots and it definately reduced them in size. i would try this for about a month.it was £5.00 which is $10.00
