Pros:

Everything about it is a pro!

Cons:

No cons!

I have acne that only affects the middle of my forehead. It starts off with one very painful lump which then turns to a puss filled lump which leaves a red scar for months and months. Since using this gel, the lumps have almost disappeared and the red scarring is now a lovely flesh coloured pink. The best thing I have ever used!

Pros:

easy application

Cons:

Expensive for the amount you get
More spots
on m y skin it dries looking like tooth paste.

This product has been a waste of my time and money. I suffer from very bad spots, and always have done. Many people reccomended this and all it has done is give my more spots than ever before. they're also very painful now. and when it dries, for me it dries white and flaky which is never a good look. overall, do not buy this product, its not worth your time.

Pros:

okay for the 1st day!

Cons:

made me come out in more spots!

i wouldn't recommend this at all, i don't have 'acne' as such, just the odd spots on my chin that i hate. freederm gel did not help, it made my sensitive skin come out red and severely dry! the price is ridiculous for what the result is, the moisturiser and wash by freederm are however a lot better! would recommend them but defo not this!

Pros:

*reduces the sizes of spots
*works fast

Cons:

*makes spots harder to cover with make-up
*leaves a white mark
*stings a little
*leaves scars

I used this product, and at first i thought 'great! something that works' but after a few days of using it i noticed that my spots were still there, although they had decreased in size, they were still there, i stopped using it and haven't used it for 3 months and where i used the product it has left scars. The product isnt very good value for money, im from the u.k and mine cost me around £8.99 for the small little tube. I wouldnt reccomend this as there are better treatments available that wont leave permenant scarring.

Pros:

Works well at reducing spot size and redness. Didn't cause any reaction with my skin like rashes etc. Clinically proven unlike many treatments on the market.

Cons:

Quite pricey but worth a try nonetheless.

People who criticise this say it doesn't clear their acne. IT IS NOT MEANT TO CLEAR ACNE, this is simply an anti-inflammatory which helps reduce the appearance of acne. If you suffer mild acne its worth the money. The product did do exactly what it says it will do on the packaging for me - reduce inflammation. The fact that its medically tested helps as well. On the bottom of the box you will see PL 0173/0166. The PL stands for product licence and means that the product has been proven to work under medical examination. Many treatments such as Clearasil rapid action treatment cream do not have a PL, hence the products claims are dubious. I do still get spots, but freederm means they disappear within 1-2 days and the size of them is significantly reduced. Because I want to prevent the spots coming up in the first place I'm going to test out the old BP 2.5% for a while and see how it compares. But overall I would recommend you try it. For around £7-8 its worth a punt.

Pros:

dries quickly so you can put it on before bed and it wont smudge all over your bed sheets.

Cons:

made my skin much much worse and i developed some more spots because of it.

all in all, i dont think this helps. it was quite expensive and i expected it to be miracle cream but its far from it. i'd reccomend "sudocrem" to dry up spots. it works amazingly.

Pros:

Cheap, I paid about £4.99
Easily available in most pharmacies and supermarkets
Can be worn under make up
Clear gel that dries fast

Cons:

Does dry your skin so be careful when applying
Tube is a bit small for the price - cant imagine it will last long!

Try it.... what have you got to lose?? I've read lots of reviews for this product and most people moan about it drying their skin out. I can put up with dry skin if it means my acne is under control. I've only been using this for a few days and so far so good. My spots are smaller and not as angry looking as they were.

Made no difference
I've been using this product for about 3 weeks now, I followed the instructions precisely and it has made no difference at all! If anything, my acne has gotten worse! I would definitely not recommend it.

Pros:

Cleared spots and scars after using for about a week.

Cons:

Costs alot for just a small tube.

I had seen alot of commercials for this product so i thought i would try it as i get spots alot. It didnt work at first, it even made my skin worse infact, but after about a week i kept using it hoping it would work, and it did! its made my skin a whole lot better and i totally recommend it, this is the only spot treatment that actually worked for me!
