Pros:

*can stop large, sore spots appearing
*easy application

Cons:

*leaves a white mark which is very unattractive
*doesnt work very well on small spots
*can make even more spots break out
*expensive for the tiny amount per tube
*stings like crazy if you have just picked a spot
*causes spots to become "crusty" and harder to cover with makeup

This product, although it has lots of cons, does work on some spots so i recommend giving it a try!

Reduces redness but that's it
Bought this and have been using it from boots and hasn't really done anything other then reduce redness from spots and dry them out. I would not buy this again as it didn't make as big a difference as I would have liked it to.

Pros:

Now OTC so can get from any chemist
Doesn't bleach clothing
Doesn't sting on application

Cons:

Doesn't work
Quite expensive
Leaves dry patches on face

I saw reviews of this and decided to try it for the acne on my cheek, forehead and chin. I followed the instructions to wash my face, use the cream and then use an oil free moisturizer if needed. Unfortunately for me while it seemed to reduce my large spots within a week I noticed that I was getting cystic acne which I had not suffered from before. I addition the number of blackheads I was getting increased. As other reviews said this happened but went away I continued to use it until I finished the tube which took another week and a half. Finally after using the tube I went to Boots to get another treatment that I knew that worked. The tube is very small and expensive for what it is. Normally acne cream tubes last a minimum of 6 weeks which is about the time you should see the treatment working. Like other acne treatments it dries out your skin but has two major advantages if it works for you. These are it doesn't sting and doesn't bleach fabric. These are the only 2 reasons I can give for seeing if it works for you.

Pros:

It can reduce spots and does sometimes reduce redness.

Cons:

Tends to rub off on my pillow and for me it makes the spot develope very quickly into a white head which i can then pop and be rid of that way.

I wouldnt use it as a quick fix... Youre gunna need atleast 3-4 days to get rid of a spot.

Pros:

It really, really really works on all spots!!

Cons:

it's quite pricey, and the tube is smaller than I thought it would be

I would reccomend anyone to buy it, if you have a couple of spots on your face. But to be honest with you, i don't think you would have strong effects if you have loadz and loadz and loadz of spots!

Pros:

I like it, it worked from the 3d day for me. It reduces the size of my spots and the redness. No side effects for now.

Cons:

Very expensive for that small amount!
I bought 10ml tube to try it. I was lucky it was on half price at Superdrugs.
Don't know what will happen when I stop using it.

It works fine.

Pros:

Helped loads with adult onset acne...

Cons:

...but less effective with teenage spots

I bought some Freederm on a pharmacists advice about 6 weeks ago for my son but decided to use it myself as I (horribly) developed acne about 7 years ago. Within about a week of using Freederm, my more inflamed acne had all but disappeared and the blackheads I've had forever were looking less raised. Now, after six weeks, my skin looks amazing - almost totally blackhead free with only the occasional raised red lump that disappears within a couple of days. My son's experience with Freederm is less succesful but it hasn't been a total waste of time. He had his first cyst just before Xmas and was experiencing constant breakouts of whiteheads across his nose and forehead. Since starting Freederm he has had no cysts and his forehead has cleared up totally. He is still getting whiteheads around his nose but these are less frequent and tend to fade quickly. All in all, I would recommend you give this product a try, especially for adult-onset acne.
