Pros:

Cleans skin and makes you feel refreshed without over drying your skin.
Reduced Shine if followed with a light moisturizer.

Cons:

I really can't think of any with this product.

I had perfect skin until I hit 15, then i started breaking out Its been 5 months of breaking out and crappy oily looking skin. I realized, after trying every chemical on the shelves of drug stores and even trying a derm which didn't work at all, that I was worsening my skin with all these acne fighting chemicals. I stopped and Switched to Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, and paired with a few other products, my skin is almost completly clear. I know im 15 and hormones will do what the wish, but this cleared me up and gave me back my confidence, and I want to recomend it to anyone who suffers from crappy hormonal skin. PRODUCTS: Morning: -Cetaphil Daily facial Cleanser -Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Treatment w/ SPF 15 Night: (twice weekly, you should exfoliate to remove dead skin cells) -St. Ives Apricot Scrub [Blemish and Blackhead control] -Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser -Neutrogena On The spot (just glob it on blemishes, no one will see you at night any

Perfect
I love this stuff. I first became acquainted with Cetaphil products through the acne.org forums, just before I began my accutane course in December 2009. I needed to find a gentle cleanser and quality moisturizer to get me through the dryness that was to come. I started my course with this cleanser, before the accutane dried up all my oil. Once accutane dried my skin out, I switched to Cetaphil's Gentle Skin Cleanser, which worked wonderfully for the rest of my course. But after I finished my course in the summer of 2010 and my skin settled into normalcy (not too oily, not too dry), I went back to Cetaphil's Daily Facial Cleanser and have been using it ever since. My skin seems to love this cleanser, whether during the hot/humid summers or frigid/dry winters of New England. It leaves my face feeling thoroughly clean without the harsh, over-drying effects of foaming cleansers I'd previously used. But I do always quickly follow it with moisturizer in the mornings. The consistency of the Cetaphil cleansers in contrast to typical cleansers may take some getting used to, but I quickly grew to love the way they made my skin feel. I am now 4.5 years post-accutane, and I get a small pimple here and there like anyone with normal skin, but I believe this cleanser has helped to keep my skin mostly acne-free and irritation-free. Whenever I try another product (because I'm temporarily without my Cetaphil or just because I'm curious) and it inevitably irritates my skin, I always end up returning to this, and my face thanks me. For those struggling with dryness and/or sensitivity (including those currently on accutane), I would recommend the gentle cleanser, but for everyone else, I highly recommend this product.

Pros:

Clears and prevents breakouts
Works quickly
Smells incredible

Cons:

A bit drying

I just started using this product, and I am thrilled with the results. I could feel new pimples coming in, and this stopped them in their tracks for the most part. Plus red marks from old breakouts are starting to fade. Great product.

Pros:

Cheap
Improves skin texture
Works great on combination skin
Ok for Sensitive skin

Cons:

none

Leaves skin soft w/o drying it out. My gf also uses it, we have different skin types, and she loves it too. I have very sensitive skin, and have been using this for years after trying tons of facial cleansers that dried out and irritated my skin. I love this product.

Pros:

-Skin feels fresh and clean
-Helps with oil control

Cons:

Dried me out a little with first use

I love this product. When I first used it dried out my face and irritated my skin; I've used so many products within the past year that made my skin so sensitive, but that was only with my first use. I now use it day and night and I love how my skin feels. It feels so clean and not stripped of my natural oils. It helps with my complexion. Not a miracle product but it's the best I've tried. I've used so many others and this has been the most effective with only a week's use! This so helps keep my breakouts under control. It helps with my oily skin. I live in Tucson, AZ and the dry heat makes me so OILY. It's nasty. This helps with that too! I've tossed all the other face washes and this is now my one and only.

Pros:

Cleans skin and a good prep for shaving in the AM and treatment in the PM.

Cons:

A bit drying

Good cleanser and a little goes a long way. For those that claim there is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) in this product need to read the label with some more attention to detail. It has Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which is not the same and safe for your skin. Give it a try, if nothing else it can be used for shaving.

Pros:

Cetaphil is by far the best cleaser ever. I have had acne for quite awhile and this was the cure.

Cons:

The only one I can think of is that the price is getting higher.

I can asure you that Cetaphil is one of the best facial cleanser out there. When I was younger my mom gave me Noxema... and of course I needed to try something new. Ever since then I have been a product junkie and have had mild acne that doesn't seem to go away. I, finally found out about Cetaphil and found out that it works extremely well by cleaning you face and taking away all the make up and retaing it's moister!! At first I got Duac gel... That did help, but there was still the overall fact that my cleanser wasn't good. So, I got Cetaphil and haven't had blackheads, pimples, whiteheads...etc. for forever. And it's almost like I wish I had something wrong with my skin!Or maybe I don't.lol. Here are good products for your skin care kit: Cetaphil Daily Cleanser Duac gel to treat, only if you need it though. Neutrogena oil free spf15 moisterizer And for your body: If you have body acne Neutrogena acne body scrub( even if it doesnt all go away, dont use harsh ) an
