Pros:

VERY gentle so for those with severe acne need not worry. This cleanser does the deed. Does not cause any break outs and believe me when I say this because I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin.

Cons:

The only thing I would suggest is to use a toner right after you wash your face. I wear make up and it doesn't totally wash it all off, but a good toner will help clean what the cleanser couldn't wash off.

I used to have moderately severe acne along my cheeks and chin (still some on my chin from time to time) and my routine of Cetaphil and Dr. Macam's Toner (which I actually have to get shipped out from the Philippines) has really cleared my skin and has made it smooth. It doesn't irritate, although it does dry your skin a bit. Just use a good moisturizer afterwards. No biggie. As for the toner, I found that anything with some kind of lemon extract helps clear up your skin.

Pros:

It cleans well

Cons:

It dries out my sensitive skin, kinda expensive

I thought this product would be perfect for me since I do have oily skin. But after using it, my face feels really tight and dry that I have to use a ton of moisturizer. I had to double-check the bottle if this was actually from Cetaphil, which is fairly known to make non-drying products. Also, I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about the scent. To me, it kinda smells like baby soap. Skip this one and stick with the original version of Cetaphil.

Pros:

Smells nice
Cleanses pretty well

Cons:

Doesn't lather well and consistency was odd, and I broke out from using it.

This product makes your face feel really clean, but I got three major pimples on my forehead after using it for two weeks.

Pros:

Cleans my skin, feels nice after I use it. Makes my skin soft, not drying (although I use a moisturizer anyways, it just makes me a little dry). It hasn't aggravated my very sensitive skin.

Cons:

Does nothing to help acne or oil.

It's a good cleanser, but it didn't help my acne or take care of oil.

Pros:

the pump is nice
gentle
you get a lot for the price

Cons:

the smell is kind of strong
a little drying

I love this cleanser. It can dry out your skin, but you only have to put moisturizer on. THe only thing I don't really like is that it doesn't lather and foam up, but other than that, i really like it.

Pros:

washes off easily
no residue leftover
leaves face smooth

Cons:

I dont like the fragrance

It really cleans deep when used with the Clarisonic Brush. It is gentle and never irritates my skin.

Pros:

- the scent is very mild

Cons:

- not very lather-y
- dries out skin

I'll keep going with this because I've bought it and will see it through, but it's pretty irritating. I'll give it another few days to see if the irritation subsides. It was a change from the Clean and Clear, but I'm not sure it's a favorite. I'll edit this review in a few weeks when I get a better feel for what it really does.

Pros:

refreshes skin, cleans well, washes off well.

Cons:

none for me

this is a surface cleaner, not a deep down exfoliator, that kind of product is bad for me. cetaphil is not ment to clear acne, just the dead skin cells and oils that are on the surface, an acne product must be used after to keep the oils down and keep the bacteria from forming. my skin isnt perfect and it never was never will be, if you wanna look with a microscope your gonna find things but for my moody skin, its good enough. but eveyone needs to try many diffrent things to find whats good for them, i still get a few pimples from time to time, usually small ones , even with a prescription. it happens.
