Pros:

good for acne but worked wonders for my seborrheic dermatitis.

Cons:

none really.

i use this soap for my oily skin, acne, and the seborrheic dermatitis on my face. it's really a good product, but the kavi salicylic acid mask has given me the most immediate results for my acne. that's the product i wanted to review, but i can't figure out how to add it on this site.

Pros:

Easy to use, inexpensive, and works really well.

Cons:

There aren't any that I can think of.

I have pretty sensitive skin, and regular soap (mostly I've used Ivory or Dial.. Dove leaves me feeling filmy) has been getting progressively worse for my skin. In the last couple of years, my skin has been hot and itchy after showers and acne on my chest has been getting worse. After switching to Coral KAVI, my skin has felt clean but not stripped. No more hot itchiness and the acne has gotten noticeably better, but not completely gone (it's been a month). I want to buy the salicylic acid peel, but after reading the reviews on here, I am going to wait another couple of weeks first to make sure I don't overmedicate.

Pros:

Great stuff

Cons:

None really

I have used everything on the market in the past, both prescription and over the counter. This product has replaced everything. The only thing I may use in addition is a moisturizer if I get dry spots and maybe put bp on a new pimple at night. That is it. I use it three times a day and it does not over dry my face (I have oily skin). Usually I wouldn't take the time to rate a product but I believe this one is worth the time. Try it out.

Pros:

The rolls royce of sulfur soaps. Tried everything from Accutane (made me less oily with less acne, but I still had lots of it) to antibiotics to BP, creams, ointments, and other silliness. I just shower with this soap every day and that's that.

Cons:

Still have a few breakouts, but like 92% less than before. No more painful cysts. There's a mild sulfur smell but much less than any other sulfur soap I've tried.

As far as I'm concerned, my battle with acne is over. Best extra is ease of use: it's added zero steps to my daily routine. I threw out my other bar soaps and keep this one in the shower.

Pros:

Works fast, soft skin, affordable, easy to use
lasts a long time

Cons:

None, the smell maybe
Sulfur, but after your skin
doesn't smell like anything bad

It works. I've had acne since I was a teen, 20plus years. At one of my worst breakouts I began using Kavi, it was completly gone in 1-2 weeks, I've use the Kavi aqua ams, Kavi coral pm and I'm basically acne free for 2yrs. A few small ones here and there, they go away 2-3days with regular use. I use light moisture for day. I have not had any poor results and I've tried everything out there and everything a Derm could dish out. These 2 soaps have lasted me 2 years. Try it.

After a learning curve, it's a miracle product
So I've been using this product for three years now, and I've finally figured out how to use it to go from a chest covered in acne (mostly between my pecs) and a back covered in acne from shoulder's edge to shoulder's edge to one small pimple a month. So when I first started using the product, I had nothing else in my regimen. I had gone a few years using nothing but soap because (a) I'd given up, and (b) there wasn't anything new to try anyway. Within the first few months, my acne went down about 80%. It was huge. Every morning I would wake up excited to see how much more acne had been decimated by KAVI. I also bought their glycolic acid mask to help with healing the existing scarring. All was well, but it was about a year into the KAVI regimen before I began to realize that things were no longer improving. For every pimple that would get zapped, a new one would pop up somewhere else. Being stubborn, I figured I just needed to keep at it, and I used Coral KAVI daily for another 18 months with no changes to the regimen or to the improvement rate. That's when I had the game-changing light bulb moment. I have avoided massages for years because I had one a long time ago, and the oil gave me literally like 100 giant zits on my chest and back within hours of walking out of the spa. Well, a few months ago, I had an opportunity to hit an awesome spa in the city, and I figured, what the hey, let's see what happens. As much as I had the urge to scrub my body for thirty minutes with Coral KAVI after I finished my massage, for some reason I just didn't. I just let it go and waited to see what happened. Guess what? Nothing happened. Can't say why, but I just decided to let my skin go with no cleansing for a few days (still took daily showers, but nothing but water on my body). Guess what? My skin improved dramatically. It all started coming together for me. All those times when I would get a pimple on the back of my neck and then go agro with salicylic acid for the next three days and then get eight more pimples in the same area. I was overusing product. Fellow acne sufferers, hear me. You need to go easy on this stuff. I've only used Coral KAVI once on my back in the past two months or so since my massage, and it's better than ever. So that's my story and my review. I've emailed to KAVI over the years and they've told me to reduce usage, but I didn't know that meant reduce it to once per month! For the record, I asked the spa what oil they used and they said shea butter, in case any of you are wondering. There were also two other oils, avocado and something else you eat (can't remember). Good luck everyone!

Pros:

gentle, lasts a long time, easy to use, no noticeable smell

Cons:

none for me

I just wrote a post mentioning this soap, I love it! I bought after reading the reviews here so I figured I would add my own. I am 31, have some cystic chin acne, dermatitis, and blackheads. After using Coral Kavi for 2 weeks my skin looks sooo much better! It is very gentle, does not smell like sulfur to me and knocks out all the other stuff I was using. You get 3 bars with a standard order so I use one at the sink and one in the shower. My skin is less oily (usually it's an oil slick!) and my "bacne" is pretty much gone too! What have you got to lose, try it, it is cheap compared to the thousands!!! of dollars I know I've spent in the last 18 years!

Pros:

Works well by itself but even better with the salicylic acid 15% peel.

Cons:

Wish I would have discovered it in high school.

I wash twice a day, mornings in the shower and evenings over the sink. I use the peel every Saturday and leave it on for 60 seconds. I could tell the products were working almost immediately. The rate of improvement does begin to diminish a little after the first month, but at three months running, my acne is almost completely under control. Disclaimer: my skin tends to be on the oily side so no signs of dryness as of yet.

Pros:

For users of all now-defunct sulfur soaps (Fostex, Sastid, etc), this is the better of them all. Smells less, works better, and has the same benefits (no shine after washing, feels clean, and, most importantly, no breakouts).

Cons:

none, just please keep making this product!

if you need a sulfur soap, you've found it here.
