Best foundation I have ever used
After vigorously looking for the best foundation to cover and maintain my acne, I am sure I have found it with revlon color stay. I decided to go for the oily/combination skin type of this foundation since I felt that it would be the best as I sometimes suffered having a really shiny and oily face with most foundations that were not labelled as a matte finish. When I put this foundation on and it dried, my skin looked flawless and had an almost powdered finish. It doesn't dry your face out and feels so comfortable and lightweight asif you aren't wearing it. The coverage was amazing and my skin transformed as soon as I put it on, I suffer from a few acne scars and breakouts around my cheeks that are sometimes hard to cover but I was getting a lot of compliments as soon as I switched to this foundation on how clear and great my skin looked. I wear this foundation now daily and you don't have to use a lot to make it worth while, it's very hard wearing and lasts longer than any foundation I have ever used, especially with a primer as a base. Before purchasing this foundation, I was using Maybelline Fit Me foundation and I have to say it was the worst foundation I had ever used in my life. The coverage was absolutely awful and all it did was make my skin look terribly shiny and oily even though it was supposed to be a 'dewy look', it also made me have really bad breakouts and just as I thought my acne was getting better it worsened with the fit me foundation. Now, after using the Revlon ColorStay my acne has calmed down again a lot and I haven't had a breakout since using it. This foundation is a life saver and is actually comparable with the dior foundation but for 3 times less the price so I would really recommend this to anyone.

GREAT FOUNDATION not for acne skin
I did a lot of research and testing on store brand foundations REVLON 24 COLOR STAY for Combination/Oily Skin about (9-10 bucks) is far the best store brand I have found . It has GREAT coverage and its very comparable to MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundations (27-30 bucks) FOR ACNE skin I recommend Neutrogena blemish control foundation or Clinique acne solutions liquid make up

Best drug store foundation

Pros:

cheap
stays on all day
coverage

Cons:

not my exact shade
no pump

Best drug store foundation I've ever used. I have rosacea and acne, and this stuff covers my redness completely without looking 'cakey'. The rare time I do have to cover a red spot that reappears I just layer it back on and it still doesn't look cakey. It also lasts all day. Sometimes I've fallen asleep with it on and it's still on when I wake up. On top of that, it goes on like a dream. I used their formula for dry skin (I'm on Accutane) and put it on after I moisturize and it looks just as good as my old foundation (Makeup Forever Matte Velvet) which had great coverage, but didn't last the whole day.

Best foundation I've used!

Pros:

Coverage
Price
Long lasting

Cons:

Not a great color range
No pump on the bottle

I've been using this foundation for years now, ever since I've had acne and I love it. It has amazing coverage and it lasts all day, I put it on first thing in the morning and it still looks good before I wash it off at night! It's great because it has a Combation/Oily skin formula, and a Normal/Dry skin formula. I also use it with a concealer and powder over top, but it can just be used on its own! Things I've noticed over the years I've been using it are: -It gives the best coverage when you apply it using a damp sponge, I use the BeautyBlender but any sponge works, and apply it in a dabbing motion. -Do not touch your face while it is on, it can cause it to look patchy; I used to try and cover my face using my hand, but it just makes the foundation break up. It's inexpensive considering how well it works, and a bottle will last me over a month and I use it every day!

Pros:

-GREAT coverage
-Doesn't break me out/clog pores
-Easy to blend

Cons:

-Comes off easily, sometimes gets onto my clothes ( but comes out easily)

I don't understand why everybody is saying this foundation looks cakey, I think they may just be using too much of the product, because even with my (healing) acne and scars, my skin looks nearly flawless and pretty natural with this on, and I am SO happy that it doesn't break me out, which is a huge con for me in foundations.

Pros:

Medium to Full Coverage
Best looking foundation I've tried
If you're on the Regimen, blends well with BP

Cons:

Drys Quickly

The trick to wearing this foundation is to (a) apply it with a liquid foundation brush. You can get this type of brush at any drug store. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. If you try to apply this foundation with your hands, it will be a giant mess. I normally pour a little bit on the back of my right hand (I'm a lefty), and paint on my foundation with the brush, that way you have a perfect amount. The second trick (b) is to apply the foundation about five minutes after you've put on moisturizer. This keeps the foundation from setting in too quickly and lets you blend better. If you have severe acne, you can apply an additional layer for better coverage. I realize that heavy makeup is not conducive to acne treatment; however, there are just certain times when sufficient coverage is needed. Good luck!

Pros:

-Great covarge
-Stayed all day
-Looked flawless

Cons:

-Need to blend well(not as bad as it sounds)
-Need the correct shade, otherwise it looks like a orange on top of a butt nut squash...

Its a good foundation that has everything just need to blend...

Pros:

-Very good for oily skin. It actually stays on your face even without a finishing powder or primer underneath. I've literally tried EVERYTHING to find the right foundation. I went from Lancome too Smashbox and they were still not right.

-Covers acne scars well.

-Doesn't smell bad. Odorless.

-Affordable

-Doesn't break me out.

Cons:

-It tends to get a little sticky after your first put it on.

-Kinda hard to blend unless you wet your brush or sponge well. I use the bronzer brush from ECO from Walmart. It's really good and because the brissles are small it makes it look natural :). For how much it covers someone didn't know I had foundation on!

-Oxidizes.

It's great! Try it out if you've been searching for foundations! **Tip: Some people say it breaks them out, but it's all a matter of washing your face really well when you take it off. After I take off my makeup with a wipe I use a gentle scrub and then I use my Proactiv toner to take excess oils, dirts, and foundation. After that I use a facial set from Shiseido to calm/moisterize my face. It doesn't hurt to try. Try it out! :)
