Pros:

Smooths skin, less acne, gets rid of breakouts quickly, cleared up most of my acne, breakouts occur less.

Cons:

No results for scars yet.

I have oily skin, so I think Ziana doesn't dry out my skin as much as someone who already has dry skin. I've only been using it for about a month now, and I can tell my face is looking and feeling clearer. My skin is still pretty oily, but I break out less and if I do get a pimple, Ziana clears it up quickly. I'm hoping it will eventually reduce the appearance of scars. I haven't seen any difference in those results yet.

Pros:

I think this works quite well and didn't dry out my skin or make it red/irritated. However I am male with pretty thick/oily skin so maybe other people experience more drying etc...I only had mild/moderate acne but it definitely helped clear me up...

Cons:

Maybe expensive without insurance. Takes a few weeks to work.

Definitely worth a shot. Used it consistently and got results. With insurance only cost me 30.00 and you get a very big tube that seems like it will last a long time!

Pros:

Works great with my skin. only need a small amount (pea size)

Cons:

First week of treatment acne was bad. $96 small $260 large tube (only need the small) with insurance and a $35 coupon from the Dr.

Before I started Ziana I was following the steps of the Regimen recommended from acne.org. It was working ok but not the results I was looking for. So I wet to the DR. and that is when I started to get on Ziana. I quite using the Regimen treatment and followed the Ziana directions step by step. WK1: Face was looking good at the beginning of the week. Old acne bruises were clearing up. Then broke out bad towards the end. (deep cleansing i guess) WK2: Face trying to clear the acne up. Each morning looks promising. No new breakouts. WK3: Fell more confident about pulling my hair back. Only one break out. Face looking great. Old brown spots going away WK4: Around my menstrual cycle. Broke out once (one pimple) and just 2 small white heads . (thats ok) My face still looks great. WK5: happy and still going strong Notes that might help:( MY skin type)- olive, (Age)-26 battling acne for 5 years (cleanser)-Cetaphil (moisturizer)-olay

Pros:

It WORKS! After 13 years of adult acne, it cleared my face in ONE WEEK just using the samples the dr. gave me.

Cons:

Because I am over 35yrs old, my insurance won't pay for it and I cannot afford $294 per tube.

I guess I'll learn to live with acne. What good is a product if no one can afford to buy it?

Pros:

It's easy to apply and does an adequate job at slowly suppressing outbreaks. The tube will probably last you about a year, its HUGE!

Cons:

Cost! I needed to pay for it up front and then have the insurance reimburse. It also takes 8-9 weeks to see serious results. Patience! Patience!

It works. If you can deal with the cost and the time, then Ziana is definitely worth a try. Don't expect a miracle to 100% clear but it drastically reduced the amount of acne on my face. I would also suggest washing pillowcases more frequently w/Ziana. It seemed to me like the gel could easily build up on fabric. Bottom Line: Give it a shot and give it some time. I don't regret it at all.

Pros:

Cons:

cost

I am in my 40's and have tryed everything on the market twice to help my acme, nothing ever worked. i even have two scares on my cheeks that they tryed to remove cystes, when the stiches came out there was more cystes under the old ones so I did not expect much, but was very surprised I have a cyst on my chin that has been there for 4years,it has finally opened up and is going away.I am very happy. I is a little drying for my skin so I use it every other day. I am going to try it on the scarrs that would be soooo great if it worked on them

Pros:

gets rid of acne!

Cons:

red and peeling skin, pricey without insurance, if combined with other products may become really irritated

My dermatologist prescribed me this after countless acne products. My skin not only had acne but twice as much post-acne. The first month I had used it my skin broke out a lot. It also peeled my skin drastically, which was very embarrassing, even with moisturizer and makeup . A little while after that the post-acne marks started fading away and acne reoccurred less. After 3-4 months all my acne was almost gone and less came. I highly recommend this product even after the bad side effects.

Pros:

Wow this really worked!!!

Cons:

Are you patient enough to wait?

First 7 or 8 weeks was pure hell. My face broke out like never before. Huge Cystic acne all over the place, much worser than when i originally started using the cream. I use this at night with cetaphil moisturizer and now its been the 11th week and my skin is flawless. I notice one tiny bump but two days later its gone. No more puss or huge week long lasting boils.

Pros:

Clear gel. Great for scabs, scars or to just dry out the pimple. doesnt leave white residue, no burning, not as drying as other atopical meds.

Cons:

none so far.

Ziana-a antibiotic (cleomycin) + a tiny bit of retin a. i put it on this nasty little black scab and the next day, i just peeled the dark little bugger off and voila-fresh baby pink skin underneath. it's ONLY for night applications and spot treatment the derm said. So far so good-everyday my cystic acne is looking less bigger and less red. i have insurance so it was only $5.00 but i read if you don't, its somewhere in the $300 range?! thats insane-if you don't have insurance, then dont get this gel. its good but not $300 worth of good! better off spending your money on light treatment or a esthetician. i see one every other month and she makes my face all better-it's so worth seeing one. i pay her $65 and she exfoliates, tones, masks, moisturizes and zaps my zits with a light wand. it HELPS.
