Pros:

Clears up acne fast, small amount only used, tightens skin, not oily, dries fast once on

Cons:

Price if you don't have insurance, if you use to much you will look like you have a sunburn and then skin peals.

I like this product a lot. Make sure you only use on a pea size amount. I learned the hard way every day use for me was to much, so I only use it ever other day now. It cleared up my skin fast. When ever I start to feel manila or see a pimple coming I put a little on. When I first started using it I used two pea sizes, 3 days in a row, and the 4th day my face was sensitive to the sun screen, it was pink and then it pealed in some places. So only use the 1 pea size. Make sure to get the coupon from the derm, as it saved me $35. So I only payed $15.

Pros:

Evened out my skin tone, cleared up my skin really fast, and is super-easy to use. One 60g tube will last for MONTHS. Made my skin less oily too.

Cons:

Some dryness and redness, especially if you don't use sunscreen and moisturizer.

I went to the dermatologist after using OTC and department-store brands for years. This was the first thing prescribed, and it's working wonderfully for me! I've been using it for just over two weeks and have seen significant improvement in my skin in that period of time. I have gotten a small break out since starting the Ziana, but it's healing quickly. You definitely have to make sure you use a moisturizer and sunscreen when using this! I forgot my moisturizer one day, which has SPF 30 sunscreen in it and was recommended by my derm, and my skin was exceptionally dry and ended up very red as a result. Sometimes at night when putting it on my cheeks will sting or feel tight, but just make sure to only use a SMALL pea-sized amount and the side effects won't be too bad. I also received a prescription savings card from my derm when she gave me the prescription, though even with my insurance this would be much more affordable than the retail price of $394!

Pros:

Makes skin smooth and heals some acne

Cons:

Extremely dry skin during the first week of treatment

Like many others in this forum I experienced extremely dry skin after first starting Ziana. I have been using the product for a little over a week now. The first few days my face was peeling so badly that it looked as if someone had pasted dried oatmeal to my face; however my face has started to heal up now from the peeling & things are looking on the bright side. I can't see a huge difference in my acne yet as the peeling caused a good deal of purging, but now that the peeling has minimized considerably my skin feels like it does after a microdermabrasion session. I use the Ziana in the evening after washing my face with Pevonia Botanica Clarigel Exfoliating Cleanser. In the am I cleanse with the same & then use Pevonia Reactive Skin Care Cream, which is "ideal for post-operative care: laser resurfacing & dermabrasion, as well as for Retin A users." Since Ziana works like Retin A this cream has been a LIFE SAVER. I highly recommend it to anyone having problems with ziana and pe

Pros:

Clears up skin really fast, and evens out skin tone.

Cons:

Makes you break out pretty badly the first 1-3 weeks you use it.

It works. It makes your break out the first few weeks, but it clears up those breakouts really quickly. Make sure to get a coupon from your dermatologist...its worth it

Pros:

Awesome. ACNE cleared up FAST for me. On my 2nd week of using it and I am acne free.

Cons:

expensive without insurance. I paid $50 even with insurance. But for clear skin, it's priceless.

Great product. I've read many complaning about how long it takes for it to actually start working but it worked quite fast for me. This is the best product I've used so far. Works QUICK! My face is acne free (at least for now). Will continue using it

Pros:

COMPLETELY clear skin

Cons:

Expensive without insurance

I have gone through numberous acne creams over the past few years and most of them either didnt work, or left me with extremely dry/sensitive skin. Ziana Gel completely cleared up my skin and because it was a gel, did not irritate my skin or dry it out. Unfortunately, I had to switch insurance companies and because this medicine is so new, my insurance did not cover it and it would have costed $130.00 so I had to stop using it.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin, did not cause dryness or irration.

Cons:

somewhat expensive

This product has been a godsend for me. I went to college, and instantly broke out (change of location, stress, etc.) Anyway, I started to get acne in places I never had before. Not just inflammation acne, but small white-ish bumps that WOULD NOT GO AWAY. I was put on tazorac by a derm, and it was a nightmare. My skin started peeling off, it was constantly red and itchy, and broke me out worse than I could have imagined. I stopped using it and went to another derm who prescribed Ziana. After only a month, my forehead started clearing up and the white bumps were going away. Even though it did take about 4 months to see true, visible results, Ziana caused no dryness or irratation which was very nice. My face is completely clear and I have Ziana to thank for it. I had tried SO many other things and nothing worked besides this. Please please try it, it changed my life!

Pros:

It works fast. After only a week, my skin was clear. It didn't dry out my skin either which was nice.

Cons:

There really aren't any cons in my opinion.

It works fast, which is what everybody wants, and it really clears your skin from acne.

Pros:

It makes your skin smooth, clears it up.

Cons:

Purges your skin, takes a long time to see results.

I've been using this for about 6 or 7 weeks. I'm wishing that my Derm. would've given me something else. I'm sure it does work (Slowly, but surely). But, not everyone has the time or patience to get rid of acne! It's been making me rather annoyed~ARGH. Haha, anyway- no peeling or redness for me when I use it (I have oily skin). I'm noticing now that there's just red spots, scars and some milia. Since the purging is over, Ziana should completly clear me up within at least a week! I'm hoping that it won't get my hopes up just to have them broken- we all know how that feels. Just a word of caution- MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SUNBLOCK WITH IT!! I went to the beach for 30 min.s and when I came back to our inn, I had a 2nd degree burn on my nose. It is extremely painful and I don't want anyone else to go through what I did! WOW, Wall o' text, much? I'll write another review when my 12 weeks is up! Pray for me, haha!
