Pros:

Terribly dry skin, readness, itchyness, and price.

Cons:

It clears up acne incredibly, after a week most of my acne has cleared off. Only product in two years that has cleared up my acne.
Proactive-made skin terribly worse
Clean and clear-didn't exactly do anythings, neutrogena-zero results

My doctor prescribed benzaclin along with retin-a... I wash my face with dove in the mornings and then apply a small amount of benzaclin on the acne prone area, I wait a while for it to dry and then apply Cetaphil lotion which includes sun protection. At night i wash my face again with dove for sensitive skin protection and wait half an hour and then apply retin-a. In the morning i wake up with redness on my face but for the most part its no bother because it makes the acne fade.

Pros:

This product is very$$$$$ It dries the skin out badly. It does help with acne. But don't miss a day you will know it

Cons:

This product bleaches everything it touches, towels , clothes etc.
I would apply at night wearing a old t shirt to avoid ruining any other clothes

i dont use this product anymore i was only getting about 60-75% results. the product is very costly with insurance $40 and only keeps for 12 weeks, the jar is very tiny for the cost. Don't attemp to buy w/o insurance unless you have a spare $200 or more dollars. P.s. they do offer a rebate of $15 on there website with receipt.

Pros:

It's clearing my forehead really well.

Cons:

If you put on too much, it makes your face turn red. It makes my cats want to lick my face, lol

I've been using for a month, and I've seen a little bit of improvment. My face is clearer and less red. My forehead is clearing up well, but my cheeks and chin are still breaking out. =[ I'm also taking minocycline along with this.

Pros:

I had horrible acne in my early teens, when I was about 12-13. I was prescribed Benzaclin by my dermatologist and it WORKED. It made my skin flawless.

Cons:

Although Benzaclin INITIALLY worked, after about a year, it slowly stopped working. I had to switch to another prescription.

For the three years that I took it, my acne was moderate. It was AMAZING in the beginning. However, in the end, I was still getting acne. This product does not help with black-heads and it OVERLY dries out your skin...so be sure to use a good moisturizer. However, DO NOT let this discourage you. Benzaclin saved my life..it just stopped its magical effects sadly. Good luck :)

Pros:

Cleared up my skin

Have moderate acne. Used this for about 3 days and it cleared it all up. No drying yet. Hope this works like this all of the time. Have used just about everything under the sun. This has by far been the best.

I dont kno why people say to refrigerate it. here are the instructions, from the DUAC WEBSITE. FOR PHARMACIST: STORE THIS MEDICINE in the refrigerator between 36 and 46 degrees F (2-8 degrees C) prior to dispensing to the patient. Do not freeze FOR PATIENT: STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature up to 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) in a tightly-closed container. DO NOT FREEZE. Discard any unused medicine after 2 months notice it says, store at ROOM TEMPERATURE. also if u are paying alot for this i suggest u get better insurance! i only pay 3 dollars for this, and all other medications!
