Pros:

Clears acne.

Cons:

leaves skin very sensitive and dry. The BP leaves a white film on face. acne does return because this topical medication contains clindamycin which is an antibiotic and antibiotics not only "kill" the bad bacteria but the "good" bacteria also. The body does absorb this so be careful if there is a family history of Ulcerative Colitis or other GI problems.

All skin needs to have moisture and the BP in this just is way too drying and the acne does return after a few months. I have used this product for several months years ago and when I did I notice the pattern of it being effective for 3 months and then stopping and I would have to change to another medication and return to the Clindamycin later. It is a cycle of bad skin then good skin then bad skin due to the antibiotic and the skin's environment.

Pros:

Cooling

Cons:

Didn't work, expensive, small tube, keep in fridge.

Tried this product it didn't work on my skin, tried it or two months. Used two tubes but it was useless really, now I use clinique products anti blemish. I find them fantastic, however my acne is not completely gone. I feel that there is for some people at least 'no cure' so sad! But i am trying to come to terms with that. As I have tried EVERYthing and nothing as got rid of it completely:-(

This product is great if it is used in the morning, with a different product applied at night.

Pros:

Does its job, reduces acne, easy to apply.

Cons:

Dry skin (but the longer I've used this, the less my skin got dry because it got used to it).

Doesn't clear ALL pimples.

I've used this product for nearly two years and it definitely has kept my acne under control but I wasn't 100% clear. Still, couldn't complain because my face was getting better. Whenever I ran out of this, my face would get really horrible again and I had to quickly make an appointment with the doctor to get another one. I used to apply this twice a day but reduced it once a day at night, which I find is the best time to apply it. I no longer use this product now though, because for some reason, it doesn't work on me as well as it used to :( I've switched to Panoxyl Gel, which works slightly better for me and is cheaper. However, I would recommend Duac because the bottom line is, it DOES work, but it doesn't cure acne, just clears it up.

Pros:

-works

Cons:

-dry skin

I just wanted to say that if this product gives you dry skin, the only thing that worked to moisturize me was Neotrogena Oil-free Sensitive skin moisturizer. I tried over 10 different moisturizers and that is the only one that stopped the crustyness without breaking me out.

Pros:

I put this on every night as spot treatment. It tingles at first, but i think that's because it's working. It can dry your skin out so use lotion, and your face maybe red for a while. But deal with it, it takes up to 3 months for full results.

Cons:

Your skin may dry and get red. But it doesn't last forever, your skin just needs to get used to the medication.

It works as long as you are patient. Like all other things out there it takes time to show full results, But you should see some difference within a week.

Pros:

can smooth out skin and decrease spots a bit, maybe.

Cons:

The first night that i used this product my skin was really really itchy and sore. I woke up in the morning, my mum said that my skin had improved a bit, but was red. second day OUCH! My skin was severly dry, red and painful, i was in tears with pain

PLEEEEEASE DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN - YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! p.s it cost me nothing because of the NHS.
