Pros:

gets rid of acne
reduces excess oil

Cons:

expensive!
can cause over drying if you don't properly moisturize

I started getting acne after I stopped using birth control pills. In the matter of 2 months my hormonal acne quickly went from mild do moderately severe. I went to the dermatologist and I started using Duac in December of 2010 and April 2011 my skin was completely clear with the exception of hyperpigmentation marks from previous acne. By May 2011 my skin was completely clear and hyperpigment-free. My regimen consisted of the following: -AM- Cerave cleanser & pat dry Duac gel all over face Murad skin perfecting lotion -PM- Cerave cleanser & pat dry Ziana gel all over face Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion **I also had 2 chemical peels performed at my dermatologists office during the first 6 weeks of my treatment. These were TERRIBLE and made my skin much worse. My doctor then suggested I have a pulsed light/heat energy therapy treatment. I had two sessions of this and noticed great improvement after each one. **Occasionally I would use the Proactive refining mask as a spot treatment over night after my Cerave lotion if I had large pimple coming on. **Occasionally I would use CVS brand 10% benzoyl peroxide acne spot gel in the AM after my Murad lotion if I had a cluster of small pimples. I followed this regimen religiously for 5 months and my stubborn acne that I thought would never go away was finally gone. Also, even though it is not recommended my dermatologists, I think that being in the sun during the month of May really helped to fade my hyperpigmentation spots. I originally thought they only appeared faded because I got a sun tan but now that my tan has faded quite a bit it is obvious that the marks have indeed faded as well.

Pros:

Dries out acne very fast
No smell

Cons:

Initially makes skin feel a little tight and dry

I got this product for "free" since my medical is paid for because my dad is in the navy. It works great. I have very light acne, but once, in a while, I'll get a big one. I usually pop the pimple, wash my face, then dab the product directly on the zit. The next morning, it's almost gone. I really only use it on individual pimples, and I love it !

Pros:

Left My skin feeling smooth, tightens skin, gets rid of small breakouts.

Cons:

Didn't completely clear my acne.

I will continue to use it even if it wasn't perfect, just for the fact that it made my skin very soft.

Pros:

Cleared up minor breakouts immediately. Maintains clear skin. Easy to apply. Little to no irritation. One of the best topicals available.

Cons:

Minor drying.

I have used many topicals over the years and Duac is the only one that has shown dramatic results. It is expensive, but in my opinion it is well worth the cost. My dermatologist said that many of her patients have had great success with Duac and she did not hesitate to prescribe it.

Pros:

Clears up acne fast
Gets rid of big pimples
Works quick

Cons:

Sometimes drys white
May dry skin
Skin may feel tight for an hour or two

This product is the bread and butter of what I use on my face. It clears up acne and it stays clear. I have been off and on with this product so I could try out others but i always fall back on this one. Your skin takes about two weeks to get used to the drying that it does (after that your skin won't dry up much) but that's ok. So I recommend you use this stuff and get rid of your acne!

Pros:

It bleaches skin so red marks seem less red

Cons:

Has improved acne 0%
Expensive

This stuff should work as expensive as it is. But the fact is, it hasn't yet, and I've been using it for over 3 weeks. I'll continue to use it because my doctor assures me that it will work. Ha! Yeah, just like everything else that's supposed to work. I am using it as I take doxycycline and I have seen zero improvement. Woohoo, it's fun not being able to enjoy life.

Pros:

Got rid of my Acne FAST
Reduces Redness

Cons:

Extremely irritating the first few days.
Will bleach clothes
Drying (Moisturizer takes care of that though)
A little scared. Being an antibiotic, i'm really hoping it does not stop working.

I've been on the acne.org regimen for 3 years now. It worked very well and cleared my severe acne. However, the regimen did not clear my acne 100%. I still had several pimples on my jaw line and still broke out with cyst around twice a month. I finally went to the dermatologist We decided to give Banzaclin a try. After two weeks, my face was CLEAR. ZERO pimples. I started getting compliments too =D I did not have little pimples, I had pretty bad acne, cyst and everything. ALL GONE =) its been 7 weeks now, still clear. I do get one or two small pimples every now and then, but benzaclin takes care of that and disappear in 2 days. Im hoping for the best =D

Pros:

-works very quickly

Cons:

-only works on pimples, doesnt work on cysts
-extreme redness (which makes you look like you have a sunburn)
-dryness
-extreme irritation i.e. itchiness

ive used this product for nearly 3 years; the bottom line is that it works, and helps kill your acne, but you have to be consistent with it i.e. you have to apply it daily or you will get new pimples. it helps reduce pimples but doesnt prevent breakups. also if you are light-skinned like me, then you have an excellent chance of looking like a tomato
