Pros:

Fragrance free and didn't cause much irritation such as peeling, fortunately.

Cons:

Made me break out even worse and the spots that i had were so sore and took ages to heal. Accentuated the appearance of previous acne scars. The benzoyl peroxide bleached some of my clothes. Feels really weird when you wash it off in the morning.

The cons made me return to the doctor after 6 weeks, and i'm now trying an alternative treatment.

Pros:

Cleared my skin up after about a month of use, helped with cysts a great amount and dries up oil skin produces so if used in the morning can keep skin less oily throughout the day

Cons:

Stopped working after a few months and i am still continuing to use it in the day time along with differin at night

Defenitly a product to be considered for all with acne prone skin, i did not see drying on my skin and it is great for clearing as well as maintaining clearer skin

Pros:

Well ive used it for about 2 weeks now and i havent seen very much improvement. In fact i broke-out 2 days agos. im hoping that just means it gets worse before it starts to kick in?!?!?!

Cons:

Hasnt made any improvment, just one break-out

its most likely better then any other treatment suchas proactive

Pros:

Gets to work after a few days if you use it correctly.

Cons:

For such a small amount its pricey.

This stuff is very good worked like a charm but if your a teenager dont think that this is miracle cream you will still get the odd bit of acne bou no more unsightly spots. Acne sufferes know what im saying when i say that you feel you can never look clean but DUAC can really help.

Pros:

It works well in the 1 week that I don't have hormonal flare-ups

Cons:

It doesn't work at all for the rest of the 3 weeks during the month.....in fact, I think it made my skin worse.

I have tried everything under the sun to control my hormonal acne. Every time my dermatologist gives me the "one" medication that should work. I was excited about duac since my cousin used it for 1 year and had perfectly clear skin. After a year, it stopped working for her. Regardless, one year of clear skin sounded awesome. It didn't work for me. 4 weeks into it, my skin was worse than when I started it. My derm told me to stick to it...."give your skin a chance to adjust". Three months later and I still break out terribly one week before and one week after my period. The duac did nothing to help. I am at my wits end with hormonal acne. Nothing seems to work.

Pros:

Works very well for clearing acne. Cleared skin within two days with minor flare up on first day

Cons:

My face got so red and dry and itchy. After about 6 days of using it i had to stop because it was bothering me so much.

I would not reccomend this product for people whos skin is irritated by benzoyl peroxide (bp) if you dont have problems with bp then this is definately for you! :) (price is assumed, insurance pays most of the $160, i think i pay about 20)

Pros:

Easy to apply
Doesn't burn or sting

Cons:

Cold when applied because it has to be stored in the fridge.
Has to be used withing two months after opening
Doesn't help hormonal acne

I suffered from acne since the age of 11. I have used Duac during my pregnancy when my hormonal acne got out of control. It helped clear up some of my acne around the jawline. I have used it for about 4 months and didn't really see the results I was hoping for. Maybe its not made for moderate to severe cases of acne.

Pros:

Clearing up my acne! I use to have little bumps everywhere as well as big ones and everything is going away. All i have left are a few faint scars where some big ones used to be, but they're disappearing.

Cons:

Nothing bad on my face. But i also use it on my chest and just recently it's gotten very red and dry. It looks like i got a bad sunburn :S I'm not really sure what to do about it.

It cleared me up, but it's still adjusting on the sensitive areas of my skin.

Pros:

My face is starting to clear up already. The pimples that were really bugging me prior going to the doctor are now very small compared to what they once were.

Cons:

When I used it for the first time it felt like my face was burning. It was very painful.

I've never tried an acne cream with an antibiotic so I'm not sure what the affects will be in the long run, but if your not satisfied with the results your seeing with normal acne prodcuts I reccomend you see your doctor about using Benzaclin.

Pros:

sometimes works

Cons:

sometimes dont

sometimes it helps and clear pimple perfectly, sometimes i have feeling that pimple should heal faster without it
