Pros:

Clears up Acne

Cons:

Stains Clothes

I have had acne for over 16 years and nothing has worked. I used Duac about 3 years ago and have not taken a look back since. I have oily skin with mod acne. I have used everything in the book and Duac is the only thing that works. I would tell you to aleast to try it for a month and you will see a difference. Another thing, I don't not use just a pea size I use a good amount. It really does help. Also if you stop using you do tend to break out in less then a month.

Pros:

Clears up acne - fast
Doesn't make skin oily
Reduces redness
Easy to apply
Cheap with insurance
Smooths skin

Cons:

Makes skin very dry
Expensive without insurance

I suffered with acne for a good 3 years and iv tried EVERYTHING to try and get rid of it. When my doctor prescribed Benzaclin, all i could think is great, another unsucessful acne medication... But this worked, and it worked well. Along with this though, you need a good mosturizer to help keep the dryness down.

Pros:

It works!

Cons:

None so far

I've had this for a long time, but never really gave it chance. My face has been breaking out so bad recently, so I decided to give it a shot. I only use it at night. After the first night I saw a very dramatic difference!!! My skin looks fabulous!! The only concern I have is that I'm scared to stop using it because it might cause a breakout. We shall see.

Pros:

Only thing that's worked for me in 5 years, ive tried everything from proactive, birth control pills, antibiotics specifically for acne.. nothing has worked until now. I had deep under the skin acne, and this stuff reached it, my skin is amazing!

Cons:

It can dry out your skin at first, but that's alright with me because my skin is a little oily.

This is definitely a life saver for me, after years of frustration of nothing working for me, this stuff is amazing. I think the combination of the antibiotic (clindamyacin) and the acne fighter (benzoyl peroxide) is exactly what I need. I can wash my face, apply lotion, and this stuff, and thats it! I dont even need to wear foundation or concealer anymore which i thought would NEVER happen. Seriously, give this stuff a try, you have nothing to lose.

Pros:

I love this stuff. I am currently on Doryx which helped out a bit, but when I did some research online I came across Benzaclin. I asked my Dermatologist if he'd heard of it. He actually had a sample to give me. So far I love the results.

Cons:

I only used it at night, even though the directions say I think 2 times a day. I notice that when I wear makeup my skin gets flakey, which bothers me, but not enough to stop using it, since I am seeing the wonderful outcome.

If you're having a tough time with acne, as I have, try it out. You will see a difference. I noticed a difference in my face within a couple days. Oh and one other thing, I noticed that when I was my face in the morning, a couple pimples that are full of puss just come right out and heals quickly. No more popping pimples! =) I would totally recommend this over proactive!

Pros:

FAST RESULTS!

Cons:

Dries skin, but ask your derm about a moisturizer.

I had acne in my teens and it went away thanks to my derm. But at twenty years of age it started to come back, then it got even worse! My derm prescribed me Benzaclin and I used it in combination treatment with Retin A micro and Solodyn. My face cleared up in days! It feels good because others noticed the differnce too. Ask your derm about it. IT WORKED FOR ME AND MY SKIN WAS PRETTY BAD!
